I also have an end goal to have freedom. My main thing is to be financially independent which is more physically free and to become a master of my art which will fulfill my spiritual freedom. Getting out of my job and this 9-5 rat race and improving my skill in art are always at the forefront of my mind. I know it’s not going to happen over night. That’s why I decided to give myself 10 years to accomplish these goals and now I’m at the end of year 1. So far it’s been challenging but I can see that I’m slowly getting closer. Mostly reading books, watching videos, getting useful advice from others. It can be overwhelming at times and I do get discouraged. I hope I am not discouraging you when saying that but you don't need to think I have no interest at all. You are the first mangaka that I have ever seen that is not Japanese for 4 years. Those are the times that I was at high school. I graduated on summer of this year. Today I am still amazed that you that you are making Apple Black and drawing different characters in your style and if they were black. Those videos still amuses to this day. You introduced me to a website that have manga being made by artist from across the globe. That blew my mind! I have seen videos of people saying nobody can make better manga than the Japanese or no body can make manga other than the Japanese but you proved me that you Saturday AM and a bunch of other people across the globe can make your own manga as wonderful as Japanese manga. I mean I have seen manga being made all over asia but I have not seen not a single manga made anywhere else in the world until my 9th grade year! 🤯 And I also seen anime made by Americans (which was rare then) and other parts of the world too. I had been exploring different art styles on deviantart.com and I wss seeing a whole a lot of manga art outside of asia and so I thought, "Why not?" and when the years gone by I am starting to see more manga and anime here in America and manga and anime bases off American culture with the Americans. The reason I draw (my end goal) is to create environments and story and scenes that are as epic or even better than Lawrence of Arabia. This could be an impossible goal, because maybe I'm not a good writer, but I think the pursuit of that goal and making the mistakes along the path fun is what I want to focus on.

Recently, I totally stopped drawing, and I think think that’s because I was trying -and failing- to draw realistically, and I was totally dreading doing it every time I tried, so I just stopped... Now, I want to continue to draw, but also... -I don’t-
My end goal- well, that's not quite true. I have end goals. The first is to become an animator. I'm unsure whether for games or shows/movies. So my mean goals are to build a portfolio, go to university and learn how to animate properly, and gain experience. The second is to become a published author. My mean goals for that are to write frequently and hone my craft in general, but also and primarily to finish the trilogy I have been writing and get that published - likely self published. There's no reason why anyone else should invest, to be honest - this is just for me and my happiness. But if anyone is interested along the way, that is cool. ^u^
