Thank you for this video!! 50 years ago, a coworker at my very first job brought some in at Christmastime and I fell in love with them but i forgot what they were called and always wanted to make them. I deeply appreciate your kneading tips! Also how to bake them in the oven because I have a medical condition that requires a low fat diet. But I want to make them fried for my family so they can taste them the authentic way! God bless you! I’m so excited to make these this Christmas!
I will make this for my friend coming over on Christmas Eve. She is from Poland and lives here in the States. She said she has many fond memories eating Chrusciki. Thanks for this ninhow🎁🎄
That was very good how you showed two cooking methods. My mother used to use similar ingredients like the egg yolks. I don't remember sour cream. I think she used rum for the alcohol. Just out of curiosity can one taste the vinegar after they are fried or baked? Also, I missed the part of the type of oil you used. I don't like Crisco because it is hydrogenated oil and not healthy. I bought some organic shortening made with palm oil and coconut oil. It will be interesting to see how it comes out!

Nope, you can't taste the vinegar after chruściki are ready!
When it comes to the oil, I either use sunflower or canola oil.
can you assemble them ahead of time and fry later?
yes!
What oil do you use
rapseed or sunflower oil
