Ive had my 2019 challenger SXT for some time and I’ve been trying to upgrade for about 6 months. 6 months of looking at Kelly blue book everyday , going to dealerships , you know playing the game. I refused to buy a used V8. Dealerships can make a turd look like a diamond. I finally found a new one with the exact color I wanted, exact features , and exact price I could afford. I just got my 2023 challenger scat pack last week in Texas. I don’t care if prices go down , I got the car I WANTED. These cars are going to go for the low soon but you get what’s left. I got the last pitch black scatpack from that lot. Keep up the dope content G! 💯💯💯

While I understand where people come from as hellcats used to be cheaper. But at the same time name another car brand you’ll buy a new car with 700 hp for 90k. You can’t especially if we’re talking about 4 doors. I know my options were bmw m5, charger, or black wing. Well the 2 options would cost 120k new for how I want it got my charger for 89k after taxes exactly how I want it. As I don’t need luxury in a car to do 150 so hellcat was the best option for me. Now that’s for a charger idk about challengers but a charger hellcat is still a good deal compared to the price of your other options
Yes, it's insane. If you pay $90K, you're losing $20K as you drive off the lot. Don't take my word for it, go to Kelly Blue Book and run the numbers. A lot of people won't touch a used Hellcat or Scat Pack. The most notable exceptions are car thieves - they still love them.

@Daniel73865 You all forget about power to weight ratio. 700hp means nothing when its heavy af. On top of that the build quality compared to others at that price is laughable. 90k is insane or anything close to it.

Certain ones like the Super Bee and the hellcat variants probably will but the Redline and Swinger will lose value.
In 10 years, none of them that have been driven will be worth half of today's MSRP.

RAM Trucks are King. I love my 2024 Ram 2500 Rebel 6.7L Cummins I6. I love inline engines.
They make about 70,000 to 85,000 chargers a year. You will find the charger you want. Dnt matter what year it is. If you scared to travel 500 plus miles to get your car that you want. Then you not a car enthusiasts. You just a ME TOO.
Think about those that payed full price for an R/T, Scat or Hellcat last year and now they are seeing these same cars discounted $20K or more now; if I was that person I'd be very upset. Can you imagine having to finance the full amount and more, then fast forward to today and watch others jump on these phenomenal deals going on paying thousands less? How would you feel in this situation?

Got a 23 RT charger knuckle white black top edition plus package msrp was 49k but they gave me 10k in rebate plus with my 2020 SXT plus trade in (that joint had 85k miles so it had to go) alland all $31k no down payment. The RT had 20 miles on the dash

At the moment, it’s an amazing time to buy a car. I bought my car at beginning/middle of 2023 and I wasted 45k for less options. Beginning of the year was the worst time to buy and now I can’t even trade in because I took a huge hit. I paid in cash and took a huge hit on the value. Now I’m finding chargers like mine for 35k, plus group rts for the same price as the current one, and scatpacks at 44k. Right now, it’s an amazing time to buy a new car

When the power dollars come back on the Scat Pack and Hellcat, that's about as good as it's going to get. Just know you'll still lose $10K on the Scat Pack and $20K on the Hellcat as you drive off the lot. Hype is fading fast.

I wouldn't buy one at all until this wheelhouse issue has been solved on these new ones.
Prices are about to drop in my hood but it doesn't matter because the inventory is lean anyway. Ford is still going strong with new badass Mustangs and new Ford Explorer ST's i turned down a sales job with Dodge because there is simply nothing to sell once all the scats and cats and RT's are gone. Nobody wants a grand wagoneer or a fuckin hornet. Don't even get me started on the EV thing with fake engine noise and exhaust notes.
