Running from police in heavy rain at over 140 mph+ is a death wish. I am suprised they didn't slip and end up crashing. I have seen normal cars just slip and crash at 50 mph despite going in a straight line in heavy rain.

You said you had a 5.7 once, what did it top out at? Also, one can buy ZR rated tires with a softer compound for the rain or better traction in general and a slight toe out helps in the corners. 140 mph is 340 duster speed back in the day, but the door windows would want to pull away from the roof.

There is no justification for the officer to continue this pursuit based on the road and weather conditions plus, the fact that he does not have the violator in sight. This is not a generally accepted pursuit practice and his continued actions only puts himself and others in unnecessary danger.
What justified running causing the entire thing? Stop sticking up for criminals. This same channel will be on here the next day talking about someone that got their car stolen. If they never chased anyone, they would just steal everyones cars.

The cops car topped at 141 MPH but a challenger scatpack 392 tops at 174 MPH. That car was gone within 16 seconds of the chase starting. The scat would have been going faster than the cruisers top speed or would have put enough distance between him and the cop , he could have made multiple turns and slipped into some random residential parking lot and blended in with the cars already parked there. The black challenger in Detroit he used the blend trick at least once. he got a head of the cop to break sight, then he went to the far lane and slowed down to traffic speed. The cop flew right past him and never even noticed

Ok so I bought a 2018 charger GT over a year ago. I love it. I didn’t know shit about the charger challenger community until after I bought it. Yes, I love it, yes already looking at 5.7s and up BUT, do not all of them have AWD? Is that even an option on scats etc? I ask bc in the wet with AWD I can cruise at a hundred and be totally planted changing lanes etc. Even in heavy heavy rain. I do not just drive at a hundred all day but I feel I can anytime with confidence.
Gt is the only awd left.. you used to be able to get a r/t 5.7 in an awd till they quit making them in like 2016 or 2017.. now only 3.6 v6 for awd
