Further Southeast you go(Tri-County), you’ll see Scats, Cats, & Mustang 5.0’s. They dgaf, they’re built to chase and pit once the smallest available opportunity to do so opens.

My wife’s cousin is a NCHP trooper and he said they’re not supposed to pursue over a certain speed right now. When the new commander took over, he put the clamps on a bunch of shit. They got the shit to do it but if you can get the jump on one and put a little distance between you and him, they’re probably gonna call it off. Be careful out there big guy. I was doing 123 mph. Got caught. Pulled over immediately and trooper was actually pretty cool about it and even took 10 miles off the ticket so I wouldn’t be a super speeder. Why - because I immediately stopped and cooperated. I pleaded no contest, did a online safety class and paid a $200 fine no points no record no nothing all because I went along with the program . Much better option then trying to run.
