I swear dodge owners are delusional. You can compare the SCAT to a SS/LT1 since their both NA. If it’s a Hellcat, it should be racing a ZL1 since their both supercharged
I’ve had both. I’ve got a 392 right now. The LS/LT are better motors. They’re all aluminum, and the packaging is tight. I like my “HEMI”, but it’s a poor cousin to the LT1. The Blackwing CT5, is a supercharged variant. You can get those, with a stick. Yeah…

I mean the hellcat has more power than zl1 and ss of course hellcat gonna be talking shit. But a tuned camro zl1 vs a hellcat same horsepower the camro is gonna win. The camro is know when it has upgrades and it will show in numbers.

I got a LSA 376/515 swapped 2014 SS. After my swap, I have'nt lost to a Scat. But that engine has 533hp stock. I haven't put the Headers and Intake on it yet. But I love Scats and Hellcats... Them boys be looking sinister!! 😈 Good Shit!

How come you swapped engines? With 533hp stock, the stock LS3 that already comes in the 2014 SS just needed headers and cam, and would've been making plenty more than the 515 swapped crate engine

I have had all 3. Ss. Scat charger and challenger now. Ss dont play. The weight is huge factor. But dodge torq u feel more. He has a 10 speed to. So on
Most days that ss gonna win. Scat u have to tweak a lil. Bigger throttle body cold air intake helps make up some difference in that weight and trans on ss.

I had a 19 scat charger and used to track it and ran 12.1 stock at 117. Traded it in for my 21 2 ss Camaro and tracked it in same conditions. The stock Camaro 10 speed runs 11.89 all day at 119 trap speed. Camaro is faster to 60, 100, 120 period. I also noticed on my scat the 392 runs out of breath at 6100 rpm. The lt1 in the Camaro pulls hard as hell at the way to 6600 rpm with no fall off.
Had an 87 Buick grand national running 11.3s with just bolt ons.
Lies I’ve owned both and my scat with a tire and weight reduction would run circles around my 2018 SS at da Dragstrip, had to tune the Camaro and change the air box with a transmission converter
