I would say I would be worried about heat soak but it sounds great.
Right I had a jlt one and it heat soak like a mf when idle
I was a Jet Engine Mechanic in the Navy and I was part of the Test Cell in Pensacola Florida and I learned early on that on a cool or cold day the engines would produce so much thrust we literally would have to trim the engines back down to keep them within limits, also on a cool day a jet aircraft needs less runway to become airborne however on a hot day like 80 or 90 degrees a jet aircraft will use up damn near all the runway to get airborne . So why would you want
to pull hot air into your vehicles engine, the answer is you don’t want to do that because robs performance.

amazing video!!! You mind me asking how come you dont run 315s and do 305s instead? I run 315s on my scat
I spoke to a dodge tech and he basically told me that the reason dodge uses 305s instead of bigger tire is bc the car is calibrated to run on that size tire for best performance, the bigger the tire the more weight and surface area to drag which could be detrimental to performance, so I just stick with OEM sizes
Faxs I heard exact same 315s just gives the car a nice beefier look to it and no space between the fenders and tires

Without the heat shield you now have a hot air intake. Congratulations on losing horsepower unless you increase the size of the throttle body you won’t gain any power and by getting rid of that heat shield it defeats the whole purpose of a cold air intake

I had all the paperwork, I put in year's at CDJR dealerships.... my current job pays 120k, tools paid for, great benefits, plenty PTO & sick leave... also pension. Now the money is with 16 hours of OT every week but I typically did that at the dealership (working open to close every day) I also don't work nearly as hard.
