  • I tried a few different tires on my manual Hellcat Challenger after getting sick of constantly losing traction. In this video, I'll compare my experiences with these different tires.
The first tire was the one that came stock on my manual Hellcat Challenger, which was a Pirelli P Zero Nero All Season. After getting tired of losing traction on even the slightest pull, I decided to try out the Nitto 555R street legal drag radial. That was a great tire but with very limited tread life and also questionable characteristics in the rain. I finally settled into the current tire that I'm running, which is the Continental ExtremeContact Sport, which I feel has the best handling characteristics all around in dry or wet conditions. I should note that I ran all tires in the stock size (275/40R20) to avoid any issues with the tires bulging off the rim or rubbing in the wheel well.
Watch this video to hear my experiences with each tire. There's also a few pulls in the name of science to showcase the level of traction that the Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires provide on a manual Hellcat Challenger with this much power and rear wheel drive traction only.

Lol I feel you on that no seasons 😂😂. When I got my srt back in 2018 it came stock with the Perelli tires and I noticed the same thing on my pulls. I have switched to Toyo tires and went staggered with 275s in front and 315s in the back for more surface area and noticed a huuuuge difference. Now I’m going to get the continentals you recommended ✊🏾✊🏾. Appreciate you fam

The physical size difference between matching tire sizes are something I have noticed, because I run the 305s all the way around. I normally run the nittos, the back ones normally last about 3 months.

@@natesrt same thing usually but had problems finding the nittos for about a year, so right now I have Firestone firehawk indy 500s in the front.

Okay, so just remember me and you have 2 million subscribers! I am first! I have the 305‘s now and I am going to order the 275 winter tires, because it snows in the rest of the world, and not in your fantasy world! Lol

Haha I love my fantasy world! Winter here means temps drop, the car makes more power, and I can drive with the windows down and listen to that magical sound track! I used to live up North - never again!

Just drove mine through winter in Colorado on the summer firehawks in 305, 2 maybe 3 days I couldn't because the snow was just to deep.

Interesting that they would rub on the Charger. I thought the tires were the same size.

Nitros run smaller, gotta size up

Yeah that's what I noticed also but the next size up does bulge a bit on the stock rim from what I saw.
