It was on Y/T.

No they should have to give you an assigned invoice with services priced out upon towing that clearly States the price for the tow the price per hour of Labor and the price for storage and administrative fees ....
This is where court comes in, People will argue "They broke no law so you cant sue" That is where you are wrong, Even if they were 100 percent lawful in this scam you can sue for unjust enrichment, that is exactly what unjust enrichment cases are for, When a party acted lawfully but still got away with a very unfair deal.
AAA will do nothing for accidents for you in most areas, Maybe in big cities where you have plenty of sucker companies you might get something from them, in most areas no officer will wait for AAA, Not to mention if you do get help itll often be hours or days before getting help.
If your insurance has towing coverage, this issue should hardly come up. The insurance companies usually have arrangements with tow operators that have been vetted.
Semi tow bills are no different, most of us are fair and reasonable and some drastically take advantage of people and pad the bill, blatantly lie to increase the bill, etc.
