Informative. Will plug in with you in Instagram. I sold a HIGH ticket item on Grailed. The buyer is in China "physically" but PayPal directs to ship it to a usa address. He claims someone will be there to receive the item at a "warehouse". Sounds like a scam to me. Am I covered and protected or should I just cancel the transaction & refund? Please Help
Helpful video. Can I get your opinion on if I’m getting scammed? I had two pairs of pants listed, a brand new account bought both of them for double what I was asking. The addresses on his PayPal and grailed are the same, nothing else looks sketchy but it looks like a scam somehow.
I recently sold an item as a new user on grailed and the buyer made a claim on paypal that the item did not come as described. Claims the item is fake when i provided 10 pics and a tagged pic. I recorded packaging the item, will you think i’ll win the case? Also i told i would refund him if he sends the item back to me.
I usually sell high ticket items to local reselling site, in my case, Vinted, more secured and client protection fee do work effectively there. Unfortunately scammers can sabotage you and report your item fake provided I have all proof of authenticity, you can get suspended or worse banned.
im barely starting to sell i gralied, and i sold a fog tee for a bit of a higher value, and it was bought a buy an account made in 2020, he bought it outright, the shipping didn't seem off, but he had to profile, and the username was giberish, and now im worried lol
Someone from Canada recently bought shoes from me on Grailed and since I was new to selling I told them I only ship to the U.S so they sent me another address. I sent the shoes to the address they gave me. Is this good or bad? And if it’s bad what do I do?!!?!!!
I need help. I’m selling an item and I’ve never shipped to another country. The buyer had 2 reviews both 5 starts for pretty high price items and about 6 transactions. Should I go through with it?
Hello ! Thanks for the informative video. I'm a new seller and a buyer just bought a 550$ pair of pants from me, kind of straight away, without negotiating, full price with seemed a bit strange to me. We talked a bit and it's definitely not a bot. After we make the sale he then asked me to undervalue custom declaration (international shipping to Russia) to which I said no because I'm not covered in case anything happens. He said : "ok, just put 550 on the declaration, whatever". The account is from 2017, he has over a 100 transactions. But no seller feedback, just a buyer. I'm being a bit suspicious about this whole not-caring-about-money behavior, but if I send my package insured, record the process, with signature at the end, etc., what do I really risk ? Thanks a lot if you can help
nice vid thx! anyone knows how some of the sellers are able to relist an item again with a new price but without losing its followers? are they able to do it because theyre trusted sellers by grailed or is there some trick? thank you!
They actually removed it a few weeks ago. It was actually a huge huge idiotic move by Grailed. I've been quite disappointed in them to be fully honest.
@@FashionForwardAlways thx for the reply, i understand. but my question is how was it achievable - was it available only for the trusted sellers or by doing something slick? thx
Its possible if it’s a new account or the transaction is ‘large’. The way to release the funds is to ship the item and funds get releases 24-48hrs after delivery
Fashion Forward Always it’s not a new account and I just shipped less than 11 hours ago ? Do I have to tell the buyer to give feedback so it can Unhold ASAP
It isnt feedback, but paypal needs to know it arrived to the buyer. They will release it within 24-48 hours once the item arrives if you uploaded the tracking info onto the paypal transaction
@@FashionForwardAlways The item is shipped and my payments is still on hold ? Btw paypal says it wants information and my account is limited . Can that be the reason
I have Margielas up for sell and this dude from the uk offered me a decent amount. I just find it weird that he just tried to put up money without asking about the shoe. I seen that the dude does not have any posts or anything. Am I tripping or do I press sell?
Fashion Forward Always this dude in the uk just bought the shoes after i offered him to pay $170 and after he paid, he said “Can you declare on the pack a lower price? Like 70 dollars. Because I live in the UK and taxes are extremely high”.
I would say only accept the return if it seem likely that you won’t win. To be honest, a lot of the time, Paypal sides with the buyer so I have just accepted returns to avoid the headache. I also usually offer a partial return if it’s reasonable
Isaac Okwusogu how’s it go? i recently just sold to someone with 16 transactions and no pfp and no reviews. i’m kinda scared since i accepted the offer
Isaac Okwusogu ok i’m just suspicious bc i sold an expensive item and i don’t wanna get scammed buy the guy. did u message them anything to make sure they were legit?
Thanks for watching!
Hopefully everyone has a great new year!

grailed should definitely let the buyer feedback be visible like depop
Yeah! I feel like it should be incorporated.
Ebay and depop also do it but damn why not grailed
Yessir! Honest sellers becoming more and more scarce.
i bought a shirt from grailed sold it on grailed and the person i sold it to is saying grailed is saying its “fake” what should i do
Thanks for the advice, i’m trying to start reselling and i put something up for sale and i got 2 messages with in a day but now i’m a bit suspicious.
Just happened to me same dude messaged me on two of my items same day
@@L00kvidz i just tell people to confirm their paypal email, if its confirmed, they cant fake their address/info
@@brzzzy how do you do that
@@jonhernandez5621 You add a credit or debit card that is same billing as ur address on the account to confirm your address.

Does recording yourself help at all? I know for eBay they could care less and side with the buyer. But does this help with Grailed?

I accepted multiple offers on my shoes. What happens now? they all haven’t paid yet tho

Bad, if you ship to an unauthorized address you will lose your case with PayPal if it gets to that point. There isn’t much you can do.....
Probably was just using a package forwarder I’ve used one before when a website wouldn’t ship to my country

You don't risk much if you ship with signature and insured. I think there are some people out there that really dont care much about money!

Hey, is there a way to see the reviews of a buyer by sellers they bought from previously?
I don't believe so! I really wish they would add that in
Thanks for the info and you have a very nice voice.

How do you message the seller if you bought one of their “listings”
How you look up their username ???
