But, Vegito activated a barrier around himself and he planned to be absorbed to save Trunks & Goten, Gohan, and Piccolo. He doesn't know that Vegito separated inside him, and waited for Vegito's gi and power to be under his own control.

What I am trying to say is Buu is an early dragon ball villain that operates on dbz logic. He doesn't function like Freeza and Cell, because what fuels his power is magical in nature.
