We are 2 brothers (Michael & Yannick) from the Netherlands and we are making videos about Calisthenics! On this channel we share usefull information about calisthenics and also our own progressions!

What's up guys!
The warm-up is one of the most essential parts of your workout. Your warming up prepares your body for exercises by loosen the joints and increasing the blood flow through your muscles. Stretching the muscles prepares them for physical activity and also prevents them from getting injured. We have been working & experimenting with our warm-up routine for the past 2/3 years and we developed the perfect warm-up routine for a calisthenics workout.

Jump Rope or Running, 5 Min
Forward arm swings, 10x Left & 10x Right
Backward arm swings, 10x Left & 10x Right
Scapula Pulses ( Back & Forth ), 10x
Scapula Pulses ( Up & Down ), 10x
Forward Scapula Swings, 5x
Backward Scapula Swings, 5x
Shoulder Dislocation, 10x
Inside Wrist Circles, 20x
Outside Wrist Circles, 20x
Handpalm Openers, 20x
Wrist Stretch, 10x (3 Different Variations)
Scapula Push Ups, 10X

I just wanted to thank you guys.These warm ups have really helped me a lot. I am new to calisthenics and I am a lot older than you. Warm ups like you showed here are very important. A lot of younger guys can go right into the workouts and they might be ok. But middle aged or older guys will get rekt doing calisthenics if they do not do a good warm up like this. Anyways, thanx guys Great channel.
