Hi, thank you for your information. I have my MRI results today, full-thickness tear of anterior column of the supraspinatus tendton with supraspinatus tendinitis. Subacromal bursitis. The onset was 6 months ago, and life is unbearable.
Would it be best to start with the sling?

Thank you for the very detailed information on how to help my torn rotator cuff on my left side diagnosed by MRI. I have two questions for you. Should I sleep on my back with an arm pillow to elevate the socket higher than just lying on a flat bed? Second questions deals with my right collar bone pain. The pain is in the middle of the collar bone that I thought was caused by sleeping on it too much. But it I believe I damaged it at the same time I did the left rotator cuff tear. What exercises can I try to reduce this pain?

I have just been diagnosed with “moderate” bursitis in my right shoulder (had X-rays, and an ultrasound). Would this exercise be appropriate for that? I haven’t found much on your channel on bursitis. Just don’t want to do something that would be harmful.

Both my shoulders are torn severely at 67....I don't even know what to do re: continual pain, along with hump back, my head is hard to hold up w/o pain and very little strength. I also have a Cyst on c, 6-7. I've been in physical therapy for 2 yrs. Any suggestions. The epidural shots rarely help.

Hey Dr. I shattered the ball in my joint of right shoulder from a fall about 5 yrs ago. It was doing ok until I slept on it for several nights because I again fell & shattered my left wrist. I'm right handed & almost feel like I'm becoming dependant again because of too much pain upon use. Just wondering do you think these exercises will help me? Steroid shot didn't help, no money for therapy please help. Desperate in ILL

I went to the ER twice and no one gave me a sling and I was in alot of pain 😢now I have mostly soreness and just had my mri on Wednesday and I'm worried that it's my neck I get numbness down my arm but pain is right on my shoulder no one at my home helped me doing cooking I'd just take ibuprofen and do it anyways I get most of my numbness when I'm sitting and watching TV. ALSO DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF MY INJURY I WENT TO THE CHIROPRACTOR AND HAD MY NECK ADJUSTED WHILE I WAS IN PAIN AND MY CHIROPRACTOR USED A MASSAGE GUN I WAS ALMOST CRYING😢

Hi Susie, We are so sorry to hear about your experience in the ER! The shoulder and neck are very close to each other and they can affect each other. If your neck is causing you a lot of pain right now we do recommend resting until the pain subsides but if you are going 24 hours or more with severe pain you may need to your healthcare providers. We have a neck pain help playlist that has exercises and tips but it would be a good idea to be cleared for exercise by your health care provider.

When attempting any of these exercises start with one or two, beginning with the smallest range of motion and the lowest intensity. As you feel stronger, you can gradually increase both the range of motion and intensity. It’s best to do these exercises every day throughout the day. Aim to tire out the muscle without losing form or control. Consistency is key. Always avoid working through pain; soreness and mild discomfort are normal, but pain is not.
We hope you feel better soon. We'd love to hear how you are doing as you progress.🙌 Please take care!
