Pillow talk was the best. Both him & Doris Day are great in this movie. I watch it every few years and their acting is so good I don’t get tired of it.
ROCK IS THE MAN!!!!! ALL HIS MOVIE'S WITH DORIS DAY💯💯💯💯!!!! GIANT, MY FAVORITE, WAS SO EXCELLENT!!!!! 💯💯💯!!!!! THEY DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE THAT ANYMORE, WHAT A SHAME!!!!!! I HAVE ALL HIS MOVIE'S, IN MY SELECTION!!❤️❤️❤️❤️😌😌😌😌!!! 🥀🥀🥀🥀....
I like Pillow Talk, Tobruk, Ice Station Zebra, and McMillan and Wife. I don't think I've seen Giant all the way to the end because it is very long. I'll try to watch the whole thing soon. Thanks for doing this.
My favourite Hudson's performances are in the epic GIANT, and in PILLOW TALK. His pairing with Doris Day in the latter is impeccable, they had such a good chemistry. 😂
Doris Day and Rock Hudson were superb. Only criticism - you say under '' Pillow Talk'' the other 2 [Hudson/Day films] were set in California - not so -Lover Come Back set in New York like PT
1. All that Heaven Allows 2. Magnificent Obsession 3. Giant 4. Send Me No Flowers 5. Pillow Talk 6. This Earth is Mine 7. A Farewell to Arms 8. The Tarnished Angels 9. Come September 10. Seconds (Not necessarily in order.)
Have seen all movies mentioned except Seconds I was born in 1945 and can understand his reluctance to admitting he was gay they were actually hated maybe more than a Mississippi African American people are a little more understanding today personally because of religious beliefs I still disapprove but I'm not judgemental and regardless of his sexual preferences you have to admit he was one of the best actors of his time it was a lifetime achievement just playing a straight man
Though not a big fan of the Hudson/Day films (growing up in the 50s/60s, when I saw them I just felt them too artificial -- which was likely intentional on the part of the movie makers to produce them as 'farce'), I always admired his work ethic and commitment to his roles. My favorite roles of his is Seconds.
Rock dictated his book revealing his true illness as he was dying -so he didn't keep the secret until after death - the book was released after his death telling it all.
He was very charming & sophisticated you could watch him and love his voice. If so many people liked him I don’t think he was overrated. Everyone has their own likes & dislikes it’s true.
Rock Hudson's performance in Seconds is among my favorites. Yes, all of the Doris Day collaborations were terrific. Giant was worth an Oscar for him.
I only knew him from the “I Love Lucy” episode 🤣 Never heard of most of these movies, so thank you! Now I have more to add to my “must see” list!
I had such a crush on Rock when he was on McMilan and wife-my Mom had been nuts over him since the beginning-what a shock when Rock died...
lovely tribute to my favourite actor, plus have to say you have the most peaceful and calming voice, its beautiful. Love from the UK
You're So Kind, Paul, Thank You! Just Love, Rock. I Rewatched "Pillow Talk," and "Giant," for the Umpteenth time just recently haha - just brilliant.

Anything with Rock Hudson in it, is worth watching😀 No mention of “Ice Station Zebra”??

Pillow Talk is my favorite Rock Hudson, movie
Can not wait to see Seconds
Correction, "Lover come back" takes place in New York on Madison avenue. Not California.
I absolutely love your indepth analysis of Rock Hudson and his movies. I, too, love and appreciate Rock Hudson
Thank You So Much, Helen!! He is Undeniably Underrated!
Lots of wrong facts...but appreciate the recognition given to Rock. He was one of my favorites!
Hey mate. Absolutely amazing video. Underrated as fuck. Well said things about Rock Hudson. Good to see people still loving classic films!

Rock had a pretty face and was very Charismatic. Rock had great chemistry between he and all his leading ladies.
I would have included All that Heaven allows in the top 10.
Love. Rock thanks
Seconds would be my number 1 and Giant number 2.

My favorite roles of his is Seconds.
He deserved better from life because of all that he gave
Darling Lilly was a musical that should have been mentioned.

I have never liked him as actor, I think he was a bit overrated, also not so handsome as other actors of his era
What a load of crap
