    If the machine is leak free and your oil sample comes back clean,keep low head on the chiller so you don't surge and destroy the high speed thrust and the prox probe is in range there is no need to overhaul the compressor.I have seen Yorks run for 20 years and never come apart.

    What brand of leak detector is used in the video? Also what trace gas was used?

      During this project we used a Johnson Controls H10 Leak Detector and the gas we used as a tracer was 134a. Thank you for your interest in our video.

      @@Boojyman i went to school did residential install while in school then got an apprenticeship at a commerical and never looked back would never do resdiential again work on boilers now and heavy commerical/industrial
