Nice review. I bought my L9 in November 2020, and it has been very reliable and sturdy. It is heavy, but the lack of high speed doesn't matter much, because I don't use it to commute...I use it on recreational trails, and enjoy taking in all the forests, animals and waterways. It is plenty fast for relaxed, recreational riding...with excellent range.

So it's basically a ninebot max with all the added monorim modifications for motor and suspension. I like that because I was gonna mod max straight away, now I don't have to.

Yes, just note that it's heavier than Ninebot though. I would pick InMotion over Ninebot. Thanks for watching

-Ninebot max is not really entry level consider it's usually $900 - $1000. It's more like a mid range.
-L9 is much heavier and bigger so it's less portable.
-Real world range is around the same as the max as tested by some other channels.
-Max is way more popular and is and owned by many people so it's the safer buy in terms of long term reliability.
-Max has way more aftermarket parts and mods and custom firmwares.
-Max has an option seat that you could buy from segway, not the L9.
-Rear motor (max) is better than front motor (L9), at least in my opinion.
-Max is the best hill climber I have tried. Not sure why many people say it's not good. It's better than even some scooters with 500W or even 800W (hilboy S2 pro and evercorss H5). With custom firmware it could even be better.
Max wins again. It's the benchmark of escooters not for no reasons.

When it comes to riding quality. It's definitely better than Ninebot Max. That dual suspension and heavier and bigger body and stem just get the job done!
Not for full-grown big males who want all the power and speed in the world. 500w motor. Just not for the speed.
Leave it in the comment if you have any questions. Thank you!
