Great comparison! I was curious about how the Max stacked up against the L9. Quite surprising how similar they are in terms of performance. Very informative!
I like the HIBOY TITAN the speed and the range is not bad. I have been trying to get one for year and because my wife is sick and has neutropenia form of cancer of the blood and bone marrow…i have not been able to get one. Cancer runs in my wife’s family and many have died. So when she is too sick to drive we cannot go anywhere since i cannot drive right now. So i depend on the bus and walking to work and shopping. It’s been tough for us. But one day i will get one.
I need something that can climb steep hills and I'm tall so the Inmotion L9 is ticking all the right boxes for me. Great review! (PS, am I the only one hearing 'emotional 9?" 🙂
@@landpet After watching this I saw that the S1 is a sort of replacement. The motor is now at the back which should be better for hill climbing, especially in the wet. Would be great if you could do a comparison between the L9 and the S1 as there doesn't seem to be any on youtube. Great comparison video by the way, just the level of technical detail I was looking for.
Im in NYC and I switched to solid tires because I got sick of getting flats, plus I blew the seal on the air valves by using to much pressure. The solid tires suck, but at least they are reliable. Other than that, the the Ninebot is a classy beast. The only possible improvement IMO would be for Ninebot to adopt the L9s front and back suspension system & put more of that black gel inside the tires.
my son has G30 I have the latest inmotion S1 with single light and bell integrated into brake lever, it's so much more powerful than G30, makes it seem like a toy lol, brutal acceleration 🤣 we went 16mls at 12.5mph G30 had 18% S1 had 45% go get S1😎
Honestly if there aren’t too many hills, my favorite budget scooter is the Niu KQi3 Pro. I’ve reviewed that one as well but any of these 3 are good. General comment, I’ve heard from others that the ninebot max lasts a long time, mine is still running fine as well.
do you think for someone 6'3 ~250lbs, the inmotion would be the best choice? Primarily for commuting. Cannot legally go faster than 25km/h where I live and there aren't really any hills. Or would you have any other recommendations? I'd appreciate any advice, thanks!
Inmotion L9 should be fine for someone like you since you mentioned there aren't many hills. There are better scooters but they do cost more, Apollo Phantom being one of them. The new Apollo City Pro also looks pretty good but I haven't tried it.
See. Why can’t other videos be as specific and descriptive as this video? Love the comparisons. Nice.

Thanks! Yeah they are fairly similar, inmotion does feel a bit more powerful at least the initial acceleration

Lol, it should climb it but if it’s too steep or too long im you would need something more powerful

L9 isn't a good climber
you need S1
@@S-O-T I got the S1, it climbs just fine. 🙂
FYI, titan has no suspension and if back tire goes flat….almost impossible to change.
Nice comparison...In a urban setting like NYC, the Ninebot Max is a commuting beast. The others are cool. I've been seeing the Hiboy around the city.
Thanks, I could definitely see the ninebot shining there

@@brothergod6633 Does the self-sealing goop in max work?
@@Rathbone_fan_account I tried some of that green stuff but I it never hardened so.

@@landpet Thank you! The Ninebot can't handle the weight, right?
@@ojaswitluthra6482 it can.. easily
@@LAMethWitch thanks for telling me
get the S1, goes better on hills
Does the Titan have regenerative braking? I know the lower Hiboy models have it, but I don't see it on your video.
I don't have the Titan anymore but I believe it did have regen braking.
Was there a noticeable difference in ride comfort between the ninebot max and the L9 because of the L9 having the suspension?
Not by much, what’s more noticeable between the two is the inmotion has more power.
Greetings to you, have the lemotion and it is wonderful so far and it’s really have long range it’s a very good scooter👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Yup, it's a good scooter. I agree
