What does that even mean though

It means it keeps all the batteries at the same voltage
I bought one for myself and my wife and it is an excellent scooter.
We live in Baku, Azerbaijan and they are perfect for the city.
So much so I very rarely use my Vespa or public transport.
I have no hesitation in recommending this scooter.
Thank You. Just ordered my wife and I two for Christmas. We live in the U.S.
Thank you for supporting our country. I am from Ukraine and a month ago I bought myself the same scooter with rear-wheel drive. I am very satisfied with it. My weight is 110 kg and the scooter shows excellent performance in terms of speed and range on a single charge.
I have just come back from a 12 mile ride with some hills and I'm still on 55% power
I'm 99 kg
I have two of these lol
I have ridden one of them through a flood with no problems 🤣
I ride in any weather
Very nice scooter, solid build. Most disappointing thing is battery indicator. Handle bar opened on me once while driving. Mine have a disc break. I just noticed... I have l9 ✌️
Ouah very dangerous 😮
The rail to walk the scooter up the steps. That's pretty neat. Don't have that here in the US that I'm aware of.
Yeah that was cool!! We need that here in the U.S.
Thanks for your awesome review. I think the only real advantage of buying Inmotion S1 instead of Ninebot G30 is suspension, which gives you more comfortable ride. But overall, I still do think that Ninebot G30 is superior & better choice in 2022 due to:
1) more stable & safe riding experience;
2) more customization over CFW;
3) less maintenance needed over longer time;
4) around 5kg lighter and more compact;
5) has less problems compared to Inmotion
Also, I am not sure if Inmotion have fixed problems from L9 model:
- Motor overheating issues (going uphill)
- Instant max speed drop while battery % gets lower
So overall, Ninebot G30 seems to be a champ for $600-700, if you want more comfort - you could install some suspension, but as long as you ride on good roads - there is no need.
The problems related to the first batch of L9 have been fixed as I know. The price of G30 is $949 instead of $600
@@Bywhee9875 depends where you live. In Asia & EU you can actually find a new G30 for 600$. I have the 2nd batch of L9 - it still has problems.
@@Bywhee9875 i bought my g30 max for 350 euros in Italy. New from the shop
G30 price from eu warehouse 550€ bougt for myself for 530€ lol
Price in local shop 700€ 💀
@@LaertKraja1 I don't believe it. Maybe G30 LP / LE version? Light gray frame or dar gray?
Great review and thank you. Just ordered my wife and I two for Christmas. I'm sure we will enjoy them. My concern in the video was the battery percent indicator as we don't want to get stranded because of wrong information on the display panel.
I think e-scooters are still much more popular in Poland than in other European countries although it is slowly gaining popularity abroad too.
Don’t lose your Polish speaking audience! Try to include at least some polish subtitles - I am pretty sure there are some +45yo people in Poland that would love to get the info before spending money but usually resources in polish language not so great.
Nice channel!
Drum brake is lower (in fact almost no) maintenance and I think it was a good choice for this level of performance.
Drum brake works better in rain. The shoes and drum don't get wet.
@@alanw.4511 having rode for the last 2+ years with disc brakes... i dont think that's particularly a factor. The pads swipe off the water in a fraction of a second. The road grit that gets stuck to the disc by the rainwater can wear the pads faster though, in my experience.
I like the fact that the drum brakes are completely enclosed and won't get wet or dust inside. Also almost no maintenance or adjustments. Also last way longer, probably longer than the life of the scooter itself. Also won't lock up that easily which could be dangerous. I would prefer drum over disc any day for a non-performance scooter.
@@carbrickscity as long as it's combined with e-braking, yep you are right the drum brakes will last a really long time and maintenance free.
@@carbrickscity just saw a G30 with 8,000 km on it and the original drum brakes. I have disc brakes on my bike. And though I love them, they always go out of adjustment, the pads wear quickly and I have heat warped rotors.
That's a cute ride. Worth to consider buying for one's grandparents.
After seeing all the innovation in the EUC world.. I can't even take these things serious anymore. Sure, at 900€ it is ok, but not much more than that.
Have you ever ridden one ?
It would kill your grandparents 😂
Thank you, very helpful! Also, has it ever overheated to you?
Cool! No it didnt but it’s pretty cold in Poland at the moment
Mine overheated today under very heavy use in 5 degrees celcius (I was climbing 15 degree+ hills offroad)
It's only the l9 that did that
Hey just a question how are you going 35kmh mine is limited to 30
In another teardown video the quality overall seems good, but a weak spot appears to be rear suspension axle, which does not rest on bearings, but just a steel rod through the frame. At least it's lubricated, and the frame is solid steel that won't wear too much, but something to keep an eye on and grease regularly.
Where are these tear down videos?
@@skampster ruclips.net/video/_1mlbBsxPkk/видео.html it's in Russian but you can autotranslate subtitles to make some sense
@@ihuliige6776 thanks mate
Just saw the video. That suspension axle is prone to seizing if not cleaned and greased on a regular basis. Also, as it wears that rod would be a source of play and looseness.

Great review, great scooter! BTW, what happened to the tail mudguard? Did it break on you? I saw you taped the whole piece
Thanks! No its fine, water was spraying through some holes in it
I have broken my mudguard twice lol
Very cheap off AliExpress and easy to fit
O, w końcu recenzja mojej hulajnogi. Zasięg i waga. No niestety, jak się waży 50 kilo to nie można sobie kupić czegoś cięższego, czyli słynnego Wolfa, bo kto mi to w razie czego podniesie i przeniesie. Trzeba liczyć na siebie, a z tą daję radę. Pozdro
I just got one of these this week. I'm a bit confused as to why the Stem has movement in it? I've tightened everything and re done the Sleeve that falls out when you unbox it. The whole Stem is tight, but there's movement back and forth from the wheel to the handlebar. Does that makes sense? Is this normal? Cheers
Thanks really helped me make a decision.
@WrongWay. Can you confirm that this is the S1F and not the S1? I was just about to pull the trigger on an S1 but that hill climbing fail killed it for me. I've seen videos of the previous/similar L9 climb much better than that and was about to go back for the older model before reading in the comments that you probably have the S1F (as you were able to go over 30kmh which the S1 can't). Would really appreciate confirmation on this. Great video by the way.
I spent a couple of days trying to figure out what model is what after the renaming shenanigans and I've finally got it figured out (with a lot of help). The InMotion L9 has been rebranded as the LeMotion S1F. The InMotion S1 is now the LeMotion S1. The S1's have the motor at the back and the S1F has it at the front (Like the L9). The S1 has a max speed of 30km/h but has better torque for going uphill, the S1F has a top speed of 40km/h but less torque for those tricky hill climbs. Hope that helps someone. I've ordered the S1 as I need that extra hill climbing ability, Will let you know how I get on.
3 weeks later and I finally checked his unboxing video and it IS the S1. I'm just about to unbox it so I guess I'll find out if it can handle steep hills, fingers crossed!
@@hotblack1166 What's your conclusion considering the uphill performance?
@@kurpfalzwutzel you have to inflate the tires to at least 40psi which is beyond what is recommended in the instructions (37) but you can go to 44 I think but the max psi helps top speed, not grip. Bought a Xiaomi pump to do that as it was too difficult to get it right using the gas station pump. With it inflated to 40 it makes it up my relatively steep hill. It's important not to release the acceleration lever even for a split second as it seriously slows you down. I have a tight bend on the way up so I have to take the bend as fast as possible so work out the best line through it to maintain speed. No regrets so far.
@@hotblack1166 Hey! Can you tell me where you found those differences between the S1 and the S1F? Im in the same position that you were, I have a long 11% incline on the way to my house, and the demosntration in the video made me so disappointed.
Nice video and thanks for sharing. Hope Kate is okay? Haven't seen her about on video for a while.. How would you rate the S1 against say ... the slightly cheaper Vsett 8 as a comparison ?
You’re welcome! Yes Kate is ok, she had a lot of work with her bachelor. The Vsett has a solid tire in the back which is something I really don’t like. Otherwise the suspension should be similar and the Vsett might have a bit more kick. Vsett won’t have any of the tech features
@@mr_wrongway Thanks for the update with Kate.. tell her we all miss her!!!!!!

You said those charge ports are required by EU, but where did you get this info? Citation needed
I got this info from Fastride France. This port has to be installed on all their new scoots
how do you go over 30km/h limit? can you tell us how to do it? please.
Are you going to test a Swifty Electric scooter? It's an UK based company.
I'm pretty sure that you would have climbed all the way up this short 12° slope with some significant speed at the beginning - nobody starts directly on such a steep hill😉
In addition, I've heard that the S1 doesn't have the best/highest torque from the start but pushes significantly more forward if you have reached at least about 8 km/h which is more important since you usually lose speed when climbing steep hills and thus it keeps climbing for longer.
@@kurpfalzwutzel
you are correct,I have one,
goes up hills well, loads torque 😀
Regards the hill test. I tested the s1 and Inmotion Climber on the same hill. For some reason the store has it set so i could not test Sport mode on the S1. So of course the Climber did the hill with ease - as it should being dual motor and got up the hill at 24kph -, the S1 started well, slowed to around 8 or 9 but still made it in normal mode. And it was about as steep a hill as could be found where i live and ride around.
I saw this on amazon and the marketing was deceptive. It said in several places "1000w Motor" but if you further down the page it says PEAKS at 1000w. So its not surprising it couldn't do inclines well.
Are dimond nuclear batteries avaliable?? or a solar charging unit, in it...?
It does have a sensor in the motor, mine overheated today when I was offroading up some hills and the app gives you the warning (You can sense overheating when your escooter will have very low torque in sport mode, then you should turn it off and on again and it will give you an error code which you can check in the app)
Is yours the L9
I have two of the S1 and nothing goes wrong with them
@@S-O-T i have the s1 but the hills were really steep around 50 degrees steep and there were very rough conditions

Hi! really like your channel. I bought this scooter 2 weeks ago and i'm super happy with it. But there is something strange. The cruise control is not very "stable", it accelerates and breaks a little, like small hiccups. Does your scooter does the same? Seems like a firmware issue...
It's normal lol
@@winniepeg2020 it got better when I updated the firmware
To me main benefit of scooters is that they can be cheaper. Xiaomi M365 Pro costs 450€, whereas a V8F costs 1100€. Make sense to buy the scooter!
But buying a scooter for a price of a V8F is nonsense. Sure this scooter can ride 5 km\h faster than V8F but, the lack of torque and the much less compact package don't make up for it.
I wonder how these compare to the kqi3 pro
Inmotion is better quality
Hi there I was checking this review, and I got one question, how come that your S1 goes 35/36kmh and on the website says 30?is it a software update?
tomorrow I need to choose between this scooter and the king son n11( on a massive discount) what would you suggest?
Buy a good brand like inmotion
How does this compare to the bolzzen magneto?
In your app, does it actually say that it can do 35-40km? In Australia the app only allows it to go 30km in sport mode. I’d be stoked if I could at least get 35km.
I was thinking the same @wrongway
Gotta love those regulations.
Throttling a 35 km/h wheel down to 30 km/h 😂
Somebody might get hurt! Meanwhile a dozen cyclists being mowed down by cars.
There are two different versions, S1 and S1F. I believe Wrong Way here has the S1F version which has less torque (hence the poor hill climb) but more top speed.
He probably removed the speed limiter
@@tychobouland6880 you should read the other comments in the thread before replying.
How do you managed to go 36kmh + ?
To co w polsce sprzedają jako Lemotion to jest to? jeśli tak to jak ściągnąłeś kaganiec z 30kmph? Bo i lemotion i inmotion podają 30 jako max. Ale recenzja super. Angielski jak na polaka wybitny :)
Does this scooter really go 38kmh? Is that with some kind of custom firmware? From what I have seen it I thought it can only do 30kmh.
I bought it 2 weeks ago. Super happy. It's very smooth and it goes about 40Km/h in sport mode. In Normal mode goes 31 Km/h.
@@claudionouvelle Exactly what scooter do you have? Because I also bought an Inmotion S1 and it tops at 30kmh in sportmode but it feels like it can definitely go faster.
@@amirtorhan2762 In the store they called it Inmotion S1F but the package and the manual just says Inmotion S1. I have to change the settings in the app but in sport modes it goes till 40Km/h easily
Już po PL nie będzie? :P
Jakim cudem jedziesz prawie 40 ?
What makes this better than the janobike t10?
7:10 - Not almost, literally. I can ride my G30 Max without hands on cruise control
I got this scooter -- as a US customer -- and the scooter is great overall, but the app is crappy. Also, on the app, does it recognise it as an L(9 for you, too? Or maybe just me...
I agree - the app is crap.
I love this scooter & only needed to use the App to get it going.
Never use the app.
Great video as always Adam. It looks a lot like their previous L9. How is this scooter different from the L9?
Thanks Antt Man! I think it’s very similar to the L9. I can’t pinpoint the differences
@@mr_wrongway Thanks Adam, last night at 3 am I didn't realize what I was asking lol. You could make a video alone on the differences, I'm sure. Thanks again and be safe.
As far as I can tell the L9 series are all front-wheel drive and have disc brakes. The S1/S1F have rear-wheel drive and drum brakes. I have not been able to determine any differences other than that.
@@lensref Thank you for the info. I've always felt that front wheel drive and disc brakes are better so its not much of an improvement in my opinion. However I think the L1 only had a 350 watt motor if I'm not mistaken?
@@anttmann6123
Rear wheel drive is safer and drum brake is better for performance and less maintenance
Did you ever receive the charger for the VoroMotors Roadrunner ?
Yes I have it. I also did a couple range tests but I still need to do more testing. Review soon
@@mr_wrongway great ! Looking forward to your excellent insight when review is completed 👍🏻
Hi, how does your InMotion s1 reach 35kmh+, I have the old generation InMotion l9 and can only reach 30kmh top speed
There are two versions, one for speed other for torque.
@@krecikowi Oh I get you, so he has the one for speed but it has less torque but mine has more torque but less of a top speed.

You didn't have to talk about supporting the Ukraine
Wtf did u do to the fender 😖👎🏽mope
Hejo kod błędu 04 to przegrzanie ;)
Amazing scooter.
Слава Україні 💛💙💪
Buy an Electronic Unicycle instead. Lol smh
What is the point of this device? 10kg heavier than my Xiaomi Pro and not much faster. I much rather buy Inmotion V8S. Much more power, bigger battery and 10kg lighter. Portability is another level. Please do review of V8S :-).
Love you bro, but gotta pass on this one lol there so many better options especially with more performance and range under 1000$
So many? Like what
I don’t know what better ones are you referring
Aerlang h6, laotie es18 lite, laotie es10p and many more. Im currently using the aerlang with over 2000km
There’s heaps of scooters but I think this one is really good, great quality & good value for money.
Support Ukraine by sending more money that will not support Ukraine but just prolong and maximize civilian suffering in the Zone? :(
How many billions of euro do we need to give Ukraine, before it is good enough? Will 100 Trillion Euro save them? Are we to ignore the corruption that syphon off most of the 10´s billions send in just the last 8 years? One would think that kind of money would have left some significant improvement in Ukrainian lifes, but yet you will only ever find some Kiev Instagram person to tell such stories.
russia is a Terrorist state!
