Aaron you are awesome! Also, Aaron told me he intends to post a lot more on his RUclips channel. You can check it out at ruclips.net/channel/UCGsi1jtwrZKA95p_utKcmAQ
My little sister has this disability. Extremely smart the only thing holding her back is this physical disability. I also think its Extremely important that people understand that this disability does not affect the individuals intelligence.
Hopefully in the future being physically disabled won’t hold anyone back. Accessible facilities mean we shouldn’t be held back but a lot of people forget disabled people exist and or get to make things accessible
Being a nurse myself, hearing Aaron talk about his nurses brings tears to my eyes. It is so nice to feel how appreciative he is and how much he cares about them
I was a CNA doing home health mostly. I was assigned to someone who they mistakingly left off the "a" on the name Alexandra.... I thought I was going to help a MAN. Imagine my surprise when I not only arrived to find a woman, but my only case ever of spinal muscular dystrophy... She was sooo cool. What a blessing to meet her and care for her...
My daughter also has SMA but is still only a toddler so she doesn't fully realise what is going or how it affects her. This disease is awful 😞 I've had a lot of dark days since her diagnosis seeing her unable to do things that her peers can and knowing what this disease does. But its videos like this, seeing people with SMA doing the best they can to overcome the challenges of everyday life and stay positive, that give me hope for my daughter's future. Aaron fantastic interview mate, it was a privilege to listen to you speak. All the best for your future.
I'm sure you've probably seen squirmy and grubs, but just in case, they are great. Shane is undergoing a new treatment that helps him not lose more muscle. Or something close to that. Anyway, good luck to you and your daughter.
I cared for a young lady with SMA for several years. She earned a bachelors degree and even lived on campus. Despite her obvious physical restrictions she was extremely independent with the help of a few PCAs like myself. She has a wickedly hilarious sense of humor and is able to make fun of herself. She is happily in a relationship with an able-bodied man. Have faith in your daughter because I’m telling you she will surprise you with everything she will accomplish! Sending you and your little girl the most positive vibes 😊
My mother helped care for someone with a similar disorder who lived into his late 70s, although he passed before I was born, he apparently had a very successful career in engineering/early computing. I hope Aaron loves just as long and fulfilling of a life. ^^
Tasteful and tactfully presented, gentlemen. My take on "vibe" = compatibility. Aaron, you are NOT average! You need to be heard, because YOU are above and beyond! Gen Z needs to speak up!
I am also a large supporter for that plant being used for medicinal and recreational purposes. I really hope it becomes easier for Aaron to get the medicine he needs for his disability. Much love as well. Awesome video!
Chris, you mentioned people treating Aaron like a kid. See that's the problem, kids shouldn't even be talked down to. They are human beings and deserve respect as well. So when people stop seeing kids as lesser, they'll stop seeing people with disabilities that way too. Because people won't automatically think, "ok kid talk, cause this person is less smart like a kid". That's why I love that you speak to kids and adults the same way.
He is far from a kid! He can do so many things that I can't. He is so smart, I dont look at him like he has a disability maybe it's because I grew up with him. He is my cousin. Miss you bro watchin this at work hope to see u soon. Ur not average btw ur awesome

Getting diagnosed with BPD, PTSD, and GAD I felt hopeless especially in the healthcare system which has a lot of cracks I slipped through throughout childhood and well into my early 20s. I was left feeling alone and my outlook on life was completely non existent. I had a very sheltered childhood and I came to see everyone featured in the videos as my family and friends and I’ve never had the chance to thank everyone for showing me happiness will win!
Its so hard watching this... My friend Andy just passed from SMA. Seeing his face reminds me of Andy soo much im gonna cry.. They sound so similar even.

It's nice to meet you on SBSK, Aaron. From this video, it's easy to see that you are thoughtful, intelligent, know what you want, smart, and good looking. Wishing you and Gen Zers the best. Millennials are cool too, Chris. Gen X here, and we use the words vibe and resonate... You can feel someone's vibe or the vibe in the room or at a place, and you may or may not vibe (resonate) with it. You can also send good vibes (energy, thoughts, prayers, love as in agape) from a distance to someone or a situation with respect for their personal space and free will. You exude good vibes, Chris.

Aarons is so interesting, comes across so chill yet seems so insightful. I’m totally charmed, looking forward to his channel :)
He sounds so wise and so cool. I’m so impressed he moved out when he was 18! He has really mastered his mind and how he deals with life. And he is so inspiring to tell us to chase our dreams, just as he is.
Such an articulate and inspiring gentleman!
So good to meet Aaron. Thanks Chris.
I love this channel.
I also subscribe to the plant for pain. I vibe with the plant. Vibe is from the 70s man! Gen Z! And me. ❤
I hope this video does for Aaron what Shane Burcaw's interview and video exposure did for him! These beautiful guys deserve all the love and happiness in the world, their struggle and fortitude are so humbling!
He is so well spoken, just BRILLIANT.
Dude is pretty smart, I didn't know you could use your hand like that to help with speech!
Your vibes are lit honestly
You're a strong and awesome person. The challenges you go through day-to-day are things most of us will never understand. My friend Devin has the same condition and he was my wheels in university. I walk with a cane, and he used to give me rides on the back of his chair whenever we needed to go somewhere quick/long distances. Best team. I help him with movements and and eating etc. Glad to have another amazing story out there to shed some light and positivity on your diagnosis. Don't let people ever take your voice away from you. If they don't take the time to listen, that's a loss for them. No one but you can tell you your capabilities and worth. Never stop proving the world wrong. Muchlovealways
Aaron, thank you so much for sharing your perspective with us. You sound like you would be amazing to hang around with. I love your sense of humor. Never forget the immense value you have.

Aaron, I love you, Aaron! You are delightful!!! God bless you!!
I'd missed this video when it was uploaded until tonight. I hope that Aaron is continuing to thrive!
He's got a really good sense of humour and seems like a great guy to just chill with
Great perspective. Don't focus on what we've lost, focus on what we have. Such grace and gratitude. Aaron, you spoke about whether you would even be the same person if you didn't have SMA, and that shows how much love and respect you have for yourself as a person. I hope more people can find that kind of self-respect in their lives. Thanks for sharing and allowing us to reflect on this and so many other awesome things you said. Peace.
Aaron is such a sweetheart
SBSK videos are the BEST ! I'm grateful for everything I learn here 💖 ! It's good for my mental and emotional health ! Congrats Chris for being such a vessel of information and understanding !!
Nice to meet you Aaron! I enjoyed this video! It was very motivational to hear what you had to say!
What an amazing guy. So smart and special. I wouldn't have pick you had a disability just by looking at you.
What a great attitude you have.
Love this, enjoying life and not feeling sorry for yourself.. You are an inspiration ❤
I loved hearing this conversation. Ive had such bad experiences being shamed over "the plant" that I was stunned by the open comments. Yall didnt have to talk about it and Im so happy you chose to. Most people dont relate that to being driven and goal oriented. Thats very cool to hear.
Aaron, you are so cool man! It’s been such a pleasure listening to you! I have ADHD and usually can’t hold my attention but listening to you was so soothing, I genuinely was to be pals 😅 sending positive vibes from England!
I love your personality! so bubbly and definaely NOT boring!
This is literally the best Chanel in RUclips ❤️
Go after your dreams!! Thank you Aaron
what a gem of a human, the both of you.
Wow that is very shameful about the social media censorship. That's half the reason I've left social media. Thank you both for finding a way to get around "the machine" and talking about it anyway! On a similar note I'm glad this channel is allowed comments again! I signed the petition! Much respect.
