Two turns is pretty tight. I had to buy a special channel lock type of filter wrench to get mine off. The Suzuki cap style wrench would slip when I tried to turn it. I can get a regular wrench on the cap but not a torque wrench.

It uses 3.6 quarts exactly (3-q 19.2-ounces). You’re checking it on the side stand and over filling. It needs to be sitting straight. Have someone sit on it while you check the window or sit on it by yourself and take a picture of the window with your phone.

@barackblows1942 Wierdly enough, and I heard this also from the mechanic. You can fill it to the fill line, which I did, I never fill it on its side stand by the way, and after going for a ride, you end up with an over filled case. That extra oil is hiding somewhere, but it's happened to them. And to think I left it draining for a few hours. As for the cell phone trick, 👍, I do the same if I have no one with me to hold the bike at the balance point. I'll be getting an Abba Sky lift soon and can't wait. Oh, and I finally saw someone use a torque wrench on the oil filter, a young girl with a gen3. Her dad is an aircraft mechanic. Have to ask her for the name of that wrench, and god knows the price of that tool. Safe riding, and thank you for watching!

@@Bipolar1MotoRider I have mine on a paddock so the rear is raised a couple inches and the oil drains completely in a few minutes.
