The street tires actually look really fun on that thing it would be like a rally Kart
Haha yea it is a blast to drive on or off road
I just subscribed. Thinking about getting one myself.
I just got back from another dune trip today. This rail is so freaking fun!!!!! I made some adjustments to the suspension and now it rocks! So much faster than a RZR and way more fun to ride.
I’m looking at a sand rail for the wrong reasons lol 😂 I also want a sand rail with a hayabusa engine but for circuit use, thing weighs less than 1400 pounds and the newer engines have almost 200hp, and sand rails are set as mid engine, then add a turbo setup, I would say that this thing would be a Ferrari killer but the only thing stopping me is trying to figure out how to get traction to the front wheels considering how light the front is
Sounds cool!
I looked at Sand Bullet years ago, It is a good light weight car but you can't drive very hard. Just out of curiosity did you look at King or Tom Pro cars? I know they are more expensive but you can push those cars a lot harder.
I just piced this one up used, so i did not do a lot of research on other manufactures. You are right, i broke the frame in about 4 different spots over the past few seasons. Just a little welding and reinforcements and she is back in action!
@@BrandonNapier I'm still kicking it around if you wait you can get a nice deal on a used King or Tompro! I have also been looking pretty hard at the new Speed UTV, twice as much but what a solid car.
If I were you, i would reinforce the front section with some cross beams. And most important, get best brakes you can afford on front tyres, if possible go for Willwood®. And for this size of cart it is preety light, my electric cuda with no batteries and motor weighed 450kg, and it was single seater. So structural integrity for this cart looks scary.
Drive safe 👍.
Thanks for the input, great suggestions. I already had to repair some cracks on the front frame rails after my first trip. I added some small gussets, but nothing major yet.
Nice. I’d like to get a Hayabusa motor for my street legal real.
That would be cool!
I just pick Busa sandrail just like your, the is very sensitive but I think I can figure that out but also the gas pedal is very sensitive with CNC pedal, I was wondering how is your and you can recommend any adjustment
My clutch is crazy sensitive also. I have not found a good solution for it yet, but you get used to it. The gas pedal only feels sensitive on the street, in the dunes it's fine. I'll be at Gordon's well from 27th through 30.
Hey! I have a sand bullet. How are your hubs attached on the rear wheel? I’ve been have issues with mine coming loose and wasn’t sure how yours work?
Take a look at my other videos in this series I had to go through a few things to fix it up.
How are you liking it ? I want to get one but not sure yet
Dude I love it! So much fun to drive compared to my RZR! I added 2 more dune trip that weren't planned just so I can get more driving in before the end of the season. Subscribe and enable notifications, I'm working on a video of it in Glamis right now!
Brandon Napier nice looking forward to seeing that video of you ripping it at Glamis!
Just bought one
Also building one
But the large air box is needed
When a street bike throttle is open wide open it needs a large dump of air to react quick
Bikes with chains transfer 90% of power
@@phillipstuart3318, excellent! I love mine. I cant wait for next season so I can get some more time with it. Videos have been slow, but more will follow, just super busy with work.
No reverse, correct?
Thats correct. Dont really need it much in the dunes, just have to plan ahead a little when you park it at camp.
I believe i know the person who built this originally.
Oh cool! The previous owner contacted me in one of the other videos. Small world!
7500 is a good deal
It was! Deals like that are so hard to find now!
@@BrandonNapier dude you said it the deals are gone and everyone thinks they're a hustler it's insane
Get close to it and show it we wanna see the thing not listen to you talk
hahaha good feedback! sorry about that.
