- Curry leaves Gravy aka Karuveppillai Kuzhambu is traditional recipe with many health benefits.It is mixed with hot rice and served for lunch or dinner.It isa great immunity booster too with the medicinal value of Curry leaves , pepper and other spices.
Ingredients
Sesame Oil/Til Oil 5 tbsp
Tuvar dal/pigeon pea lentils 2 Tbsp
Black pepper 1 tsp
Dry red chillies 2
Jeera/cumin seeds 1 tsp
Methi seeds a pinch
Curry leaves 1 cup tightly packed
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Hing/asafoetida 1/4 tsp
Dry red chilli 2
Tamarind paste 11/2 tbsp
Salt to taste

Mam, I tried this last week itself, but couldn't add the comment.... Sooo now I have made myself free to give you a special thanks for sharing such a DELICIOUS dish.... As you said it's a perfect dish during rains..... With streaming rice, and ghee, ( that day) our meal became very very special..... Simply loved it ma'am. Not just me all my family members too liked it and they have suggested to prepare it often..... Thanks once again 🙏🙏

Geeta Mami - try this recipe and post video- curry leaf tambuli - tambuli recipe is Karnataka special. With some oil roast pepper, jeera and curry leaf. Add them One after another. Lastly some fresh coconut. Along with curd - grind it. Enjoy with rice topped up with ghee. 😊

I grow a lot of Kadipatta plants. I used to give the leaves to my Mother. It's very good for people with High BP n Cholesterol.
Just wash n dry the leaves under the Fan. Fry it for about 2/3 minutes to remove all moisture. Powder it in the Mixer. Store it in an Airtight container. You can use it in your Salads or just add it to Rice n add a nice Dollap of Ghee n have it. It tastes yummy.

We do not get all the South Indian Food here.
So if it is available in Mumbai ,can buy it from there.
