Oh yes... that was an alligator; a half inch alligator with no teeth and no tail... it could have eaten Paul... but it would have taken 200 years... absolutely Azamzing!!!

We holiday twice yearly there .
Agree Ibu Rai is very good as are so many restaurants and cafes there .

I sat in a coach like that in Mexico and I am only 5' 5". Couldn't do it -- got off and forfitted the excursion! Lovely trip for you two!!!
Oh wow, ir was a tight squeeze!
Good to see you back in high spirits. When we were in Bali on our cruise Queen Victoria had to anchor in the bay, even though there was no ship docked and we had to be tendered in. Bali was wonderfully chaotic and on our excursion we got to a clifftop temple, a cultural park with a Balanise dancing show plus a huge statue that you can see from the port and we had a great seafood lunch. Thankfully at 5ft 7" I could fit on the coach.
It was a squeeze in the coach but we had a great time in Bali! Oh right just presumed all ships could dock!

We just love your show. Please could you let us know what brand of travel luggage you use as we need to get a couple. Your enthusiasm for Cruises has encouraged us to book a cruise for the first time; we've booked with Scenic for Amsterdam to Basel next June 2024.

Carole: that was a ‘stink bug’. We have them here in the U.S. now, accidentally introduced from Asia, first collected in 1998.

Went on a trip across to Peterhof Gardens, from St Petersburg , on the boat a chap kept coming up to the deck with buckets of water 🙉,

We live in Cairns Qld Australia, and Bali is just a 4 hour flight away. While Cairns is hot Bali is far more but year-round lots to see though..
Would love to explore the North one day!
I was on the Queen Elizabeth in November and we were turned away from Bali because of too many passengers with Covid (including me :( ) Instead we sat in Fremantle for 3 days (where I live!!) I went home on the bus to water the garden, ahh well. If you think Bali's bad for Workplace safety you should see China!

Loved this your latest vlog.Going back to the beginning of this vlog and you awaking too early because of the time difference and you got it wrong,Remember when I set my alarm in a Belgium hotel a few years ago,I must have dreamt the alarm went off,so I got up,showered,and was about to dry my hair,and noticed the hotel room clock saying it was only 5am.and I/we didnt have to be up until 9am!! I went back to bed with my hair wet lol.and slept

Why did you not go to the Monkey Forest ? Its one of the main sights to visit in Ubud and its right in the center
We dont like Monkeys LOL! Had some bad experiences in Thailand with them so avoid them now!

Do you like your cabin? Not sure about it myself.
Decor very bland, cabin functional and comfortable, but lots of movement at the back and a bit of soot too!
