Great to see the videos from this cruise coming out - I'm so intrigued by Azamara, and delighted to see it with a 'real' lens through you guys. It looks like a brilliant product - will be eagerly watching for more!
Good to see you having fun on your cruise of a lifetime rather than being upset about other issues. Thanks for the catch up last night we must do it more often.
What a wonderful adventure you have had! I am living vicariously through your travels! I am about to go on my first transatlantic from Miami to Barcelona March 9th! I am very excited! My first time to Spain!
Nice video, but surprised about your reference to the “158 year old man”. Gary Bembridge isn’t a day over 157 ! Pity you don’t live closer to Staffordshire; we could do with a popular music expert for our weekly pub quiz !
Sorry you felt so much movement, but glad you had good service, on board credit to use, and a friendly bunch of passengers! The brunch looked great-too bad you weren’t hungry! You’ll have to start carrying a bottle of hot sauce with you on your cruises. Congrats on all your quiz wins, Paulie and love the $90 shirt…
Wait until you do a long cruise, we totally lost track of days and dates etc and so did the crew. It also blows your mind when you cross the interantional date line and lose a complete day. Crossing the Indian Ocean we had 8 sea days in a row and you completely slip into a new rhythm for your life. We kept a seperate cheap alarm clock set to UK time so that we knew when we could contact people back home.
Love your blogs! And having just disembarked the Quest from Sydney to Perth, in summary, Veranda stateroom a bit underwhelming but more than made up for with the much higher quality food, the beautiful lounges and overall décor and layout of the ship, entertainment was better than expected, crew fantastic, overall maybe our favorite cruise along with Alaska with Cunard, Azamara IMO give you the suite experience but in a standard stateroom, was it worth the nearly double the price? Overall, I think so! Very different experience to our usual cruise, much friendlier and even though it was a full sailing never a problem to get a seat, no queues for anything and service always fast, super friendly and efficient, only downside was the movement if you get even with a bit of a swell or bad weather. No interaction with GR for us so can't comment on that area but staff overall get a 10/10, fellow guests dont think we encountered anyone who wasn't really enjoying the cruise and being only 690 on board you soon get to know a good number of them!!! Great experience.
That's great to hear you had a fabulous time. Agree Azamara do so much really well. With the exception of Guest Relations, the staff were top notch! Where and what was your Azamazing Evening on your cruise?
@@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel Azamazing was Adelaide Oval and James Morrison, fantastic stuff! He was on top form and a great night, even had some Opera singing from the CD as we got back on the Ship! Then up to the Living room and before i could order, Joanne the ever-present waitress smiled and handed me a bottle of Becks 🙂
Sorry you had motion issues. I wonder how the second cruise was for you as the southern Australian seas can be pretty rough. I myself didn't notice any motion on the Azamara Singapore to Perth cruise but my cabin was in the center of the ship. One thing I enjoyed on sea days was the water color classes, and I am not an artist. I aslo used my onboard credits in the spa and enjoyed the steam room.
Wonderful vlog from you both again,Thanks! Carole after taken your sea-sickness tablet, could you drink alcohol afterwards?..It's just many years ago when I was on a ferry crossing the North Sea overnight,I took a tablet, and after a couple of small of lagers I was so spaced out,I was in my cabin by 9pm.since then Ive used wristbands and behind the ear patches
Hello from Perth. I've been enjoying your Azamara adventure. Like you, I love cruising but, unfortunately, I think our last cruise just before Christmas on the Queen Elizabeth will be our last. I'm a bit sad 😞Anyway, I can enjoy your videos.
I’ve never been as bored on a cruise as I was on this ship. Wonderful food & service but that’s where it ended. Dreadful entertainment, poorly organised tours & the smallest shower in a tiny bathroom. The balcony only just fitted the table & chairs. Not worth the money IMHO.
The cabin shower was a struggle for Paul, definitely dated too. We felt the entertainment along with the white night and Azamazing night was good, can understand though it's not for everyone.

What a view. Incredible!

Thanks so much Fraser really appreciate that! 😁
Azamara is a great line, if you don't need climbing walls and race tracks etc. Which also leads to no rowdy teens or active kiddies. Yay!
Definitely none of that on Azamara, there were children on our cruise but only a few.
Good to see you having fun on your cruise of a lifetime rather than being upset about other issues. Thanks for the catch up last night we must do it more often.
Thanks Ken. We didn't want the issues to spoil it all. Enjoyed the catch up too, definitely should do it more often! 😍
Still loving this series thanks guys. Just 9 weeks now until we join Quest in Singapore!
Glad your loving it! Oh exciting not long!
Love your banter! Always in good spirits.. great fun to watch
Thanks Lise! 😍
Looking quite smart with that new shirt and the bling nails. We enjoyed your day at sea. Thanks
Lol thanks! 😀

Oh wow enjoy your cruise and Spain! 😍
The Quest brunch looked amazing! You could tell there was a lot of movement of the ship on your video. Beautiful views!!!
Thanks Joanne! 😍

We had so many good experiences and loved the food, good point about the hot sauce, might be a good idea! 😂
Hi Carole and Paul,
Great to watch video, all looked good.
Thanks Jane! 😍
Beautiful Ship and beautiful views

Love that private balcony!

It was challenging with the motion, shame as never had any issues on our previous cruises.
Massaman curry is my favourite too 🙏 it's disappointing when it's not a proper ingredient - peanut's and green beans, coconut milk.
Yes we love it!
I love you guys
Thanks Maureen!

Yes you could, just didn't feel like it with all the motion!
I thought you had a discount on the shirt and went back to buy a pack of double AAs! 😁
🤣🤣🤣

Ah OK, 🤞🤞🤞
Carole was thinking of the word, “thalassotherapy”
That's the one!
If those Indian meals tasted anywhere near as good as they look they must've been delicious!
They were so good! 😍
Did you guys go to Discoveries for Dinner on your cruise?
We did go in the second cruise quite a bit! 😍
carole ,hows mr love lol
Lol he is OK! 🤣🤣🤣
