I prefer Arcade Stick. No, not because it's better per se, but it's super comfortable and easy to develop muscle memories for it. Also when i was playing on pad my left thumb got blisters and my joins hurts in general. Thumbs just weren't made to move this way. On arcade stick i can play whole day with zero problems. So for that alone arcade stick is better for me. It's also super fun. Hit Box is best one but c'mon it's like playing fighting game with keyboard. Try it out. For me it's like playing FPS with joypad instead or KB+M. Just NO.
I personally just love learning different ways to play street fighter. Learned on a xbox 360 controller (analog) and i used dash on dpad. graduated to stick then ps4 dual shock now ordered my DIY Hitbox can't wait to play charge characters with this thing. If I could say anything about my preference I would say pad over stick for me certain motions my wrist couldn't do and I'm getting older for a motion on the left side is much slower for me then the right side. Dashing /charging. When it comes to fun factor stick is my favorite way to play by far just it's very loud and requires much more strain in the hands and wrist. Pad is faster to dash/charge much more comfortable and small with little to no noise. tight link combos are harder to pull off on pad imo. Hitbox I hear It's a confusing transition and takes a long time to get use to longer then stick but with the peak potential it could lead to I think anyone who likes a challenge while learning new things would benefit from this. note.. (Do not play on analog for motions) -huge handicap + slow . Use dpad only learn the motions.

I rock with Cody on a Razer Panthera or Victrix Pro depending how I feel haha. I've played on keyboard before, and I'm sure it's a similar experience to hitbox. Dashing with buttons is much quicker to execute.
I'm working on getting a hitbox because pad hurts my thumb after long sessions. I use stick for now but my only gripe with it is when I am in a intense match it shifts causing me to think I'm holding block when I'm holding down. So I figure hitbox will give me a little more precision. 🤔
Here's me playing Cody with an 8-BitDo SN30 Pro controller, hasn't failed me yet. Though I do own a SFIV 360 deluxe arcade stick (the round 2 edition), I could never get used to it for doing things like DPs. I should try it again at some point.
@@iZonkGaming2021 You're right, but I can use the LB/L1 button to charge all three punches and use kicks to do any pokes. LK can be cancelled into EX zonk I found. This of course means no VS1 or throw defense so I can't hold it for long unless I'm on the offensive.
Ah ok..yea imo thats limiting, you need an anti air at all times. Either a HP or VS1, one of those needs to be available for me to play this character..no throw tech is fine

A CA is ⬇️↘️➡️⬇️↘️➡️ + punch right. When you cancel a dragon punch into ca, you only add ⬇️↘️➡️ + punch. The uppercut itself stands for the first quarter circle. So to be complete: ➡️⬇️↘️➡️ + punch (dp), ⬇️↘️➡️ + punch. That is a dp into ca. this also works the same when you used a shortcut to dp. So this works too: hold ⬇️ and tap ➡️➡️ + punch (dp shortcut) then immediately do ⬇️↘️➡️ + punch. Good luck!

Ah controller is fine for charge too, but hitbox would be more optimal. Deejay isnt a zoner so he doesnt have to hold it all the time like guile, hes more like chun in that way I think. He looks cool in the leaked sf6 art!
Oh you’re gonna do well on hitbox if you already play keyboard! There are also set ups with the 4 arrows or a keyboard and arcade buttons like stick/hitbox, maybe thats for you!

Hehe you dont need hitbox. You need an internet cable and a decent pc to play at a high level imo. Play station, wifi and a tv are most detrimental to the game experience

Funny, I started the same with a pe4 dual shock playing Sagat. I used analog to do the motions and used dpad to dash, which is very inefficient haha 👍

First, I use Venom arcade stick only problem is the buttons are tacky. But its easily replaceable

For sure, keyboard has the right idea but the arcade buttons on stick and hitbox feel so much better…tap instead of press 👌

Yup dpad is a bit more cramped and hitbox is probably a bit more precise. Best of both worlds imo!
How can you have problem with that? If you have Square gate you basically cannot mistake db with d. It's such a distinction.
I tested my inputs in the training mode of melty blood type lumina and my dashes are actually faster on stick than on pad
Never played MB but I’m surprised! Do shortcuts work in mb? I know in Guilty Gear for instance, the hitbox shortcuts for uppercut motions dont work

So to play this game effectively u need a hitbox, a pc, a 4k monitor and wireless internet wow all that to play against cheap ass gimmicks 😵💫
