What a weird looking mic. I like that. Other then that I don't see anything that others in the price range don't do better. Although it did perform better outside then I would have thought without a deadcat (aside from the clipping). But if you are gonna use a mic outside I would never use a mic like that. I would go with a lav or just a full on dynamic reporter mic. Also where you using a rode wireless go?
I was going to do a comparison between it and the ride, but ended up not doing it. Was way too hot outside to do a couple more takes for it. Also used it to sync audio just in case.
I was told it would do alright outdoors and that it's a possible option. I did enjoy doing the test tbh, might start doing it more often, gives an extra layer to the overall review even though it took some extra effort to get done.
