Thanks for all the amazing positive comments so far. I uploaded a follow up video today, after the last year and where I'm at now. Thanks to everyone that's watch the first vid. Jason
hi looks like your forehead is glowing , Do you sweat alot ? . for myself i sweat alot and get hot flashes , aswell as my heartrate increase alot , did propranolol help with that issue?
@@51North I have a question I took Propranolol first time yesterday it worked but i started to get leg pain but i don't see any swollen skin i was wondering could it be tingling or pins and needles or cramps ?
Two years back I developed some kind of panic attack while holding a presentation. Every presentation it only got worse and it got me depressed and I didn´t know what to do because it affected my grades in school and it would be very difficult to pass any subject without holding presentations. Then I discovered beta blocker I still get very nervous before a presentation but without the same sympoms as hearth racing 100km/h, hand sweating like niagara falls, shaking, voice shaking etc... Feel like I am taking controll of my life again, the first time I did a presentation after starting beta blockers I got nervous and was wondering if it was gonna work. But my hearth didn´t start beating like crazy and the adrenaline never was released in my body. I did a pretty good presentation and after like 1-2 minutes of talking I felt comfortable as fuck being there. I think these little pills saved my carreer, also I didn´t notice any side effects.
That’s actually really great to hear. I might consider taking them. I would never be interested in taking something like this in case it ended up fucking me up even more but I’m desperate, man 😅
For me I need to plan when I take them. One pill is 47mg and if I know I won´t have any presentations at school that day I can go without using them or taking just one to feel more comfortable, depends how I feel that day. If I know I have presentation I will take 2,5x 47mg. It will take up to two hours to reach the full effect of the dose. So no regular pattern needed in my case since I just use to avoid panic attacks in certain situations. It depends what makes you to be anxious.
Hmmm okay. I just have panic attacks when I go outside in public, in general... so maybe it’s not for me. I might try it once or twice though because I miss going places 😂 so it kicks in 2 hours after you take it, then how long do the effects last after that?
I found beta blockers to be a lifesaver for my life-long anxiety. I have been on them a month. I am shocked no other doctor ever suggested them before. My BP and pulse went sky high and I felt like I would possibly have a heart attack.
I finally accepted I have social anxiety disorder and visited my doctor about it. I was hoping he’d prescribe me propranolol as I knew that’s what would fit my situation best. He did just that. I’ve already witnessed them working and helping the side effects of panic in social situational anxiety not show up. I used to go beat red any time I ran into someone I knew in public or public speaking, my heart would race, I’d blush excessively, I’d sweat, and then this all made me even more anxious. They seem to be helping me so far and I hope they continue. It’s important to remember: beta blockers will NOT get rid of your anxious thoughts. They’re prescribed off label and are actually meant for heart issues. They will simply prevent the physical symptoms of anxiety from showing up. You may be nervous in front of people, but with beta blockers, it’s more likely they won’t be able to tell you’re anxious.
I guess everyone is different. However a recent study found complete elimination of phobias. www.mdedge.com/psychiatry/article/191908/anxiety-disorders/single-dose-propranolol-tied-selective-erasure-anxiety
Thanks for this, Ive had social anxiety most of my life and has got worse with my age 😞 My dr has given me some but unsure they will take them. What dose does it for you please, I'm becoming a recluse and dont even want to even go to my Dr.....
I stopped taking my meds over a year ago because I didn't have access to a prescriber. I have an appointment in a couple weeks and your video gives me so much hope. I need to get a job in the next couple months and my panic disorder really is kicking my ass. I've been on the lowest dose of propanilol before and I forgot how much it helps stop the anxiety before the whole fight or flight response. I can't even fill out a job application without getting anxiety to the point it effs up my tummy and I go running to the bathroom. I'm reminded that there's hope. Thank you!
I'm the same I'm someone who stays away from medication in general. Just been prescribed these and wow miracle workers. My chap has just been diagnosed with MS so constant stress and anxiety but since taking these no worries at all. Nice and calm.
I've been prescribed 10 mg to take as needed for situational anxiety. So I only take in social settings. I've taken it 4 times and its done wonders for me! Everything just flows naturally and I feel like I'm the best version of myself. I'm prescribed 50 mg of sertraline as well for depression but have stopped taking it as it's made me tired and unmotivated and I'm not as depressed anymore
I'm 23 and have had situational anxiety issues since I was 17. I feel like it really fucked up my life since I never told anyone about it and kept it to myself thinking I could manage it which I could to a decent level but it's still always there in certain situations. Never saw a doctor or anything either. Been reading up on betablockers and came across this video, reading your comment and your description of how you felt after almost made shed a tear. Been avoiding so many situations the past 5 years out of fear that I would get anxious and finally got fed up with it. Gonna go to an appointment and see if betablockers will work for me today. Anyways if you read this comment I would love to hear how it's been for you since I can tell you wrote this comment over a year ago. :)
@@Quzga Hi! If I can help another live up to their best life - I'm happy to help. Sounds like your anxiousnes is pretty similar to mine. I had such terrifying performance anxiety in middle school before basketball games that my parents forced me to go to a athlete psychiatrist. Me, being young and full of pride, took it as an attack - I had too much pride to open up to the counselor. I continued playing basketball through high school, anxiety-stricken and all. I mention this because a few days ago when I played bball (I play maybe once every 2 months now, and I'm 27), I feel it was the highest I've EVER performed. Seriously. I was powerful, driven, and 100% sure that every action I took was the best action. No doubts in my mind. And guess what. I had taken 5mg of propranolol earlier that day before a work meeting. I am a Business Analyst so much of my work is facilitating meetings. A few weeks ago, after not having taken propranolol for months, I took 5mg before a meeting. I am still prescribed 10mg, but I cut the pills in half because 5mg still works like magic for me. Once again, EVERYTHING came effortless and natural. I was not worried about coming across any roadblocks in the meeting, I had confidence that I would resolve any issues and drive the conversation. Everyone has different experiences - but 5mg of propranolol for me takes the edge off and makes me assertive, makes me feel life has purpose, and motivates me. It's funny, reading back on this original comment I left almost 2 years ago, it looks like I was taking the full pill lol. But for as long as I can remember I've only been taking 5mg as needed. I probably take 5mg once or twice a week now. Since starting work again though a few months ago, I have really been wanting to take it more often. Honestly, like every other day would be ideal. But I do not want to feel dependent on anything so I am in a predicament. Research shows that betablockers are non habit forming, that coupled with the positive impact they have on me- it just seems too good to be true. But maybe thats just the skeptic in me. Maybe I should take it more often and live my best life. I consider myself as feeling 'on edge' almost always. And propranolol always just takes that edge right off and helps me live in the present. It's literally like a magical drug for me, I know when I take it I will be cool and in control. I look forward to dates with this little guy by my side lol. I sometimes feel like I'm cheating the game of life when I take it... my mind just goes into auto-pilot and its the greatest feeling ever!! Anyway, I think you should definitely try it out. I can't speak for all betablockers, only propranolol and sertraline (hated it) are things I've been prescribed, and only propranolol has been worth it. And Thank God my doctor recommended it, because it has certainly helped improve many many of my life occasions. I hope you find what you're looking for and let me know what your experience is if you're able to get it prescribed!!
@@Micoolaw Oh my god thank you for the response, was a pleasure reading it. It's almost scary how much I relate to everything you say. "sometimes feel like I'm cheating the game of life when I take it" That's definitely how I would love to feel! My appointment kinda fell through so have to do it later but sure hope I won't have an issue getting them. I've never tried any kind of medication to treat anxiety so I'm extremely curious.
I was worried too about using this medication, as I didn't want it to affect my mood, but it really just reduces the physical heart symptoms for me so I can sleep. Plus using one at work helps so so much
Does it help you sleep through the whole night? Any side effects? I'm going to try this for insomnia. I keep getting adrenaline surges when I try to sleep.
@@nerdbamarich2063 hi, I get the same the doc told me your body is under stress and you're panicking and it's alot to do with the "fight or flight reaction" your body releases adrenaline to deal with the situation it thinks you are facing even though we are in our bed trying to sleep our body is reacting to the stress and panic. It's your bodies way of coping and trying to help I guess....atleast this is what the doc said wether it's true or not?..... it sure makes sense to me lol
I started getting a shortness of breath on the 19th (5 days ago) then on the 22nd I had a huge panic attack at work. Never had any sort of panic attack or anxiety ever before in my life! I’m a very outgoing person, i immediately went for a covid test thinking the worst which sent me into overdrive up untill I got my results last night. I went to hospital this morning and they prescribed me these. I’ve been looking all over the Internet for advice what it’s like but seeing this video and all the people commenting who have had similar times. It’s really relaxes me and make me happy
Over the past week I stopped working where I was relaxed myself and got a little part time delivery job to keep me going and the shortness of breath is almost gone and I feel abit of a weight lifted off me, I used the tablets for 5 days. I could feel them calming me down but they were only 10mg and I was restricted to 3 a day. Never Experienced mental health before and hope never to again, think I may of got out lucky. Keep your head up everyone! Your smashing it!
Been on these for 2 years now for anxiety and they are a wonder drug! They did make me out of breath for around the first month but that is due to the tablets slowing your heart rate down, that's past now my body has got used to them, the shortness of breath will pass for you to!
@@laurachristian608 Yes if it's truly anxiety causing your symptoms. It works by slowing your heart rate down and hand trembling caused by Anxiety. It Only helps with the physical symptoms of anxiety. It's life situations that causes anxiety, or stage fright or general anxiety disorder. It works on you physical symptoms only. It's not an Anti Anxiety med. But if it calms your nerves, Encluding shortness of breath it can be a very helpful medication for physical symptoms of anxiety. I've been on 5 mgs for 25 years now.one or two per day. So only take as needed. If you take it only a daily regimine your body will become dependant on them for life.
My mood turned around 360 dgree taking this meds. I have palpitations, hypertension, anxiety and major depressive episode. This drugs really works!!! Even better than my previous xanax and Valdoxan tab!
My high school graduation in 99 it was extremely hot in the auditorium. I remember sitting there thinking I was having a heart attack.. in the middle of the isle as the speaker was talking. Drenched in sweat... wave after wave of panic... thinking i was going to throw up... then pass out. I had no where to go. Ever since then when I am "stuck" I have a massive attack... if I am on a plane... or at a ceremony it kicks in. I have an event coming up where I will be on stage " stuck" and have to give a speech. I am hoping these will help me... Have an appointment with my doctor in a week.
I got prescribed 40mg off the doctor. I only use them when really needed. 40mg is a medium strength dose. It is a wonder drug for me and takes all Anxiety away for me in stressful situations. No doubt in my mind that I got my recent promotion due to taking propranolol before the interview. Filled me with so much confidence as I was so relaxed. The feedback I got was that I was extremely confident at asking questions. I'd have been nervous if I hadn't taken them.
+Alan Thomson sounds like s good dosage assuming you dont suffet negatives. I find these 10mg dont really take the full edge off, even if taken shortly after each other, so 2 acting in system at once.
JasonPineapple The only negative is that I can sometimes lack motivation to exercise. I ensure I do my daily workout before taking them though. As I said it's a last resort thing for me. Best way to be.
Yes, I get lack of motivation too. Even if you start with a 10 walk round a park, then start exploring nicer areas/countryside. It really is my meditation time
Love this comment. Im on 40mg now, but i dont want to take them every day...i only want to take them in stressful sitautions 😍 So im glad i came across these comments
It works but its only suppose to be taken in social situation for anxiety. It can mess with your blood sugar, metabolism, lower blood pressure. If you take more than your suppose toq
Awesome, glad to hear you got to the point to be able to get of antidepressants. Reflect on life and see what areas you can take out to reduce stress/anxiety, and what you can add in for more happiness
this works good for short term anxiety like interviews or social anxiety.30mg i take before such situations. It simply stops the symptoms of anxiety like heart racing trembling.Musicians and sports people use them.
For me, it worked well, i took it before two job interviews, and made me feel very confident . But i advise against taking a propanolol on the same day youre going to do physical exercises, because it will hinder your abilit to perform the exercise. You need like 24 hours for its effects to wear off completely. I learned that the hard way.
@@MauryanEON no , but i just couldn't reach a high enough heart beat to have enough blood in my muscles to actually have adequate performance, it was like no matter how hard i tried, i felt i wasnt strong enough anymore.
It is a very beautiful treatment, I have been using it for two years, and I have really benefited from it because I have a phobia of appearing in public. I get sweating, shivering, rapid heartbeat, etc. But after a friend recommended this medicine to me, I went out everywhere and appeared to the public .. Just to warn the treatment solves the problems Physical and not psychological, it may help or contribute to psychological treatment, but its main task is physiological treatment
i started eating once a day and got anxiety, now i ate for the second time and am much calmer. blood sugar is important for anxiety. dont change diets and medications at the same time it sux.
+zloben9000 Stick with the doctor recommended dose and consult with them before increasing dosage os always the safest bet. You may be more suited to another medication
I can't eat. I can barely take the tiny pill! I don't know if these are right for me. I can't read the information or I WON'T take them. I will have every bloody symptom if I were to read! I know so very well how important diet is but, I can't get anything down my tummy, sleeping is a joke. I was only prescribed these tablets yesterday. Will they help?
@@Nonkjjjjj They work for preventing the physiological symptoms of anxiety like rapid heart rate, tense diaphragm etc. But they don’t do anything for the mental aspect of anxiety
Day 1 of propranolol for me. Been suffering from extreme general anxiety disorder and already on day 1 I feel like a different person. I was able to function at work and I noticed my normal triggers just kind of slid away. :)
Welp, I was prescribed 60mg and after reading all these comments on people using 10mg I’m scared to say the least. Asked multiple times if they were sure I should have 60mg and they said based on my assessment (panic attacks, migraines, nighttime hemiplegia, the list goes on) that that dosage was exactly what I needed. That was a month ago, I am just NOW going to take the first pill.
@@rolandmccarthy1780 well, I don’t feel any major difference. First night I was so terrified I couldn’t sleep. Second night I went to sleep but was easily woken up by a small noise in the house. I might have to wait a week or two before I get the best results. (I’m supposed to take one every night, same time)
Im 17 and ive been struggling with server social anxiety my whole life. Just recently its gotten to the point where im trembling even at the places im usually very comfortable in, my heart beats 100mph, ive lost control over my thoughts, cant focus and im becoming bedridden. I cant catch a break from it and its ruining my entire life, im going to the doctors next week to see if this will help me, I have a very strong feeling they will be what saves me.
I always had anxiety, but recent i have been getting the shakes really bad. I just started on 40mg, but half a pill twice a day to start with. Just one day I could tell the shakes are not as bad. So hope this helps me down the road.
Hi. I'm 32, shy, long term unemployed, living with my mum and pretty lonely. I put this down to my anxiety for the most part. Anxiety influences every part of you and how you interact with others too. I've been taking Propranolol for about 7 years on and off, it can be really helpful when you have really anxious episodes. There were times in the past where I'd get myself into such a state I'd ring for an ambulance as I'd be in total meltdown. I've tried mindfulness, reading and many other things (SSRI's are a nightmare) over the years but it's a real struggle still. Of late it's been very difficult for me and I'm relying on it daily at this point. I'm a big fan of JP and watched a lot of his videos and read his 12 rules for life book that came out a few years ago. I've so far failed to put any of his advice into practice I'm afraid. I think a lot of it goes over my head, I'm not quite bright enough to understand a lot of the things he talks about I suppose. Keep up the good work your videos are great.
Anxiety can be overwhelming and I sad to hear about the effects its had on your life up up until now. Matt Haig (author of the book 'Staying Alive') has a optimistic outlook that those that have suffered depression/anxiety have a gift that once out the other side they can truly appreciate life and even live a richer life that those whom have never suffered. JP is great, he has a great message, he is an academic so backs his message with facts, research, science, history and philosophy. However his message can be distilled to a simple one, make positive changes, aka 'clean your damn room'. I'm really focusing on making this channel about depression/anxiety/mental health, especially mens mental health, so if you haven't already, consider subscribing and I'd love to have you on the journey.
I've been taking propranolol since I was about 17! I'm 23 now. I was diagnosed with essential tremor in my hands and I have anxiety, so these tablets work amazing for both I find! Especially my tremors! They seem to stop the shaking as soon as they kick in :)
I also don't take them every single day, I will only take them when I have work or if I'm going somewhere. But I have found that I am dependent on them, without them I will have the shakes in my hands, and my anxiety will creep in.
EmmaIsBoomting I'm so glad to hear this. I am 17 currently and have also been diagnosed with essential tremors and I also have pretty bad social anxiety. I'm glad to see someone saying positives about this as I was just prescribed it :)
Thank you for the post. I just started propranolol and Zoloft for my anxiety and panic attacks. I can say that the propranolol changed my life. I’m constantly anxious, my hands sweat, my heart palpitates and sometimes suffer from Dyspnea in some situations. With the propranolol, all these symptoms diminished, and I feel like I’m a normal person with upmost confidence. For once I can get my thoughts in order without them speeding through my mind.
For me antidepressants only really helped with my depression but only after a high dose. I'm currently on 150mg of sertraline a day. Sertraline is an SSRI which increases uptake of serotonin which is a feel good hormone. For me anxiety was more about the physical symptoms that come with it. Propanolol stops adrenaline from getting to the heart by blocking beta receptors. This prevents our body going into fight or flight which is usually linked with anxiety and the symptoms of it.
I've heard sertraline can mess with your ability to feel emotions. That's the only real reason why I personally decided not to go on it but the dr told me to research propranolol instead.
I was prescribed 10mg of this for heart palpitations. The anxiety hits me after I experience palpitations. I've been diagnosed with PAC and PVC's. I'm concerned with taking this medication because my avg resting heart rate is 50 to 54bpm and when i'm sleeping it's between 34 and 38. How much lower can this stuff make your HR? I have not taken it yet. One important thing to note is that when I feel anxious after heart palpitations I don't experience an increase in heart rate. I just feel nervous.
For me the depression came from the anxiety of the unknown about the side effects I’d experience while first starting the drug. I have to take these daily for my blood pressure. It can feel like a boa constrictor is wrapped around my chest sometimes. Mainly laying down at night, but sometimes during the day. That side effect has subsided after taking it a few weeks. I can also feel very cold, especially, my hands & feet. Chest pain, dry mouth, trouble sleeping or staying asleep. (I take melatonin for that. Or valerian root, but not both at the same time.) Low blood pressure & heart rate. Again these side effects lessened over time. Now my BP has leveled out but can drop to 90/54 occasionally, but without symptoms. I don’t get dizzy anymore. My heart rate stays in the 58-75 range now. The beta blocker strangely helped me to smoke less b/c it was hard to breath at first, so I didn’t want to smoke cigarettes. In a way that’s a plus!
LadyScarface Angel my hands get so extremely cold… Numb tingly. I’m glad to see this is a side effect from beta blockers cause I had no idea what was going on with me. I also have sensitivity to heat. I can’t even go out in the sun without getting the feeling of being overheated. I also hardly sweat anymore. Do you have any of these symptoms? Do you know if these are possible side effects? Thank you… Jason
Good video man, I've been prescribed these and I felt a positive difference. I'm a mental health nursing student and have a placement starting next week so I'll be getting more from my GP, they help keep me calm when I first meet people.
my very nice lady doctor prescribed me this. 10 mcg tabs. i love them and i feellike it saved my life. antidepressants take forever to work and the side effects are horendous. life saver drug.
yeah, SSRI medication cause lot of problems for many people. Sometimes they even turn persons situation worse. Propranolol has way less side effects and is much more sustainable in the long term.
I've been prescribed both - an SSRI and this.. the side effects of the SSRI are awful, I dread coming off them some day and taking propranolol now too. I see most people here saying it's great occassionally when needed.. so generally speaking are there no real side affects?
I used to get a heart sinking in the chest feeling. Along with panic attacks and these pills are a miracle. They also keep my blood pressure in normal range. I take two 10mg a day.
@@JoeLSoL how are u now? Does it help u with clearing your negative thoughts while in public situations or just the symptoms of anxiety? So others won't know u are nervous..
I have a very strong anxiety disorder, the cardiologist didn't want to give me beta blockers, they did a heart test, I have an arrhythmia but he said it wasn't serious, of course he doesn't feel like he's dying, it just calms me down with the benzos that I hate taking, like Can I do to get beta blocker? I can't stand this permanent anxiety anymore, it's brutal.
I also have generalized anxiety, with scary intrusive thoughts even when I'm at home alone. I just got prescribed propranolol (20 mg, BID) for anxiety and I don't notice any difference in anxiety, I had to double my dose earlier because I felt like I was going insane. I see my psychiatrist next month and I'm going to see what he thinks. He asked me what actually helps my anxiety and I told him benzodiazepines are really the only thing that seem to work but he won't prescribe them because of my history of alcoholism 😔
@@ganjaman407 I’m on 20mg once a day, do you think I’d be able to double my dose? I’ll take mine around 11am to Noon, but then later in the night feel them wear off and anxiety creep in (heart rate goes up, chest tightness, etc). Think I’d be able to take another, or nah. They are 20mg

I've got a ton of them from when my dad died and I couldn't cope. Dr gave me 40mg tablets to take twice a day. I never took them at the time. But I've still got them. And I'm thinking of trying them to help me with my ruminating and anxiety. Doing research on RUclips. 😅
They work really well if you are having a genuine 'fight or flight' episode. Lots of people mistake a general feeling of unease as an anxiety disorder. Obviously, a lot of people want to be diagnosed, because it's very fashionable. Does anyone get a dizzy/fuzzy feeling with them?
When I first started taking these, I did get the fuzzy feeling. But I've been taking this for 15 months now and I don't get those feelings at all anymore. I take 40 mg twice a day, one every 12 hours. This is a miracle drug for me. I have to take this an hour before eating so I get the full effects of it.
@@rayz0rxxx , it doesn't hurt to try this. It helped me alot. Anxiety was ruining my life too so I definitely get what you're saying. It doesn't have any side effects besides the fuzziness. And that will only last a week. Like I said, you do want to take this on an empty stomach. So right when you get up and then twelve hours later. I wish there was a time release version of this. Hoping this helps you.
I just took one for the first time. Success! I am so glad I have this medicine. I don’t really get depressed. I tend to just get so anxious that it causes me to cry because I’m so overwhelmed. It looks like depression but it’s not.
@@anthonydilele7808 I’m still taking them as needed. I don’t like to take them too often because then it loses effect. I take buspar as well but I have a pretty good level of anxiety and OCD as well. Nothing works better than a benzo when it’s really bad, but again have to use sparingly to not have rebound anxiety and tolerance.
Ok serious question. I’ve been suffering from some sort of disorder which causes my heart rate to randomly shoot up to 180bpm which is either a panic disorder or SVT which hasn’t been captured. I’ve been suffering mentally for 2 years because on one hand I don’t know if what I’m feeling are panic attacks or svt attacks (which again haven’t been captured). The very first time I had one of these attacks, I wasn’t in a stressful situation at all and had never experienced anxiety or depression before leading me to believe it was definitely physical. After being rushed to the hospital with a heart rate of 200bpm they couldn’t find the issue and basically I was left in the dark for 2 years after that really traumatic event being told it wasn’t anything. I have had multiple cardiologists try to investigate if it is a physical issue, regardless I think now it has manifested itself into a mental disorder. I’m young healthy, I don’t touch soft drinks, coffee, fast food never have and never will. I used to work out everyday. I meditate. I supplement with magnesium. Nothing works and I feel incredibly lost that I have to deal with horrible palpitations, chest pains and a randomly racing heart. I’m getting quite depressed these last 4 months and desperate and I have consulted with a psychiatrist (whilst still getting my heart investigated) who suggested I should take this particular beta blocker. Thing is...when I’m not panicking my heart rate can go as low as 59 bpm. So I have no idea whether I should take this or not coupled with the fact that I might have svt. I don’t like the idea of being so young and on medications that interfere with the hearts electrical circuit. Please let me know your experiences and if you are in my shoes and what you think (i won’t listen to you as if you are a doctor but I am curious regardless). Thank you
Hello! Man, reading your story was like reading mine. I am currently being monitored for 30 days with an event monitor. The propanalol helps so much. I take half a pill twice a day (10mg a day). Definitely talk to your doctor or cardiologist about this to see if it will be good for you. I feel calm and it stops my palpitations.
@@keva4672 I’m happy to hear it’s working for you. For me it’s very tempting to get medicated asap, but I’m still a little hesitant and am going to see if I can get my hands on cbd first. After attending more sessions with my psychiatrist, they seem to believe I can get over the anxiety side of things and advises me to wait and see how I go with other stuff before using it. We will see how it goes, I’m on a really long waiting list for an electrophysiology test to see if I have svt. Might take a year but it’ll answer my questions once and for all. Thanks for the reply and insight 🙏
@@rideshareboy371 I’m much better than where I was, I’m no longer as depressed as I was months ago, my heart hasn’t been playing up as much (still going to get an ablation) but the generalised anxiety still isn’t gone. I’ve been trying CBD (been 2 weeks now) and it seems to take the edge off but it’s not a silver bullet but it seems to be doing something. I’m sorry to hear that you suffer from similar stuff but I think the key is to try as hard as humanly possible to overcome what seems impossible. Don’t stay boxed up, consult with doctors, psychologists etc, and put in the effort in spite of life. When you’re dealing with what I’m dealing with I’m sure you know how alone in your consciousness you can feel, but trust me eventually, even if it takes years maybe it’ll be possible to feel “normal” again. Best of luck man.
Crazy how I’ve been told not to ever use stuff like this, but I finally made the decision for myself and I’m so glad I did. First day using it (only 10mg) and I was able to do things that I would not have normally been able to do with a calm state of mind! I agree that you should only use this when you need to tho
a few months back i had a several panic atack and, me and my mother were on the car going back to home, then i remember that i started feeling weird my hands were shaking so hard and i feelth like a tingle i don't really know how to explain it, the case is i was feeling so bad as if i was having a heart atack. so my mother had to turn right back to the hospital and the doctors took me to the emergency room, after all the analysis of my health they told me that i had a panic atack and then they gave me those tablets 40mg
I take the 80mg slow release (once a day) + it works wonders for my anxiety + it's the only medication that helps my anxiety. you can take them as and when or daily but I feel if you don't get on with antid's, then Propranolol may work for you x
I've just started taking these and have been prescribed quite a high dose for chronic migraines (I also have social anciety, so it should come in handy there as well!). What kind of side effects are there, I've just lost a chunk of weight and I don't want it all to come back....
My GP first recommended it at 10mg for me a few years ago, I’ve been saying I still feel bad and he’s only said to up the dosage but never said by how much. Does anyone with experience know what a could dosage would be for someone with severe crippling anxiety and a very overactive mind? I just want my brain to shut up😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
10 a day is really low dose. They usually do it leash 10 mg 3 × day for anxiety. I think between 30 and 80 is the dose. But you should ask them doctor. They can write u a script.
I’ve taken these on and off for 20yrs. Antidepressants are wrongly given in opinion to anxiety suffers. They make up 10x worse! Propanol and Diazepam for me.Hardly Take Diazepam now, running cycling and walking is the best medication. All the best.
Sertraline helped me with racing thoughts, obsessive thoughts, repetitive thoughts, dissociation. Propranolol is effective for the physical symptoms of anxiety or panic. Both worked well for me
I take Vistril to help my anxiety. It helped my thoughts, but not the physically symptoms of anxiety. Propanilol helped my breathing, sweating, racing heart, shaking and dizziness.
Well I tried it for the first time this week. I was advised to take 20 mg 20 mins before my presentation. I ended up taking one 10 mg two hours prior and then two more 10mg a half hour before (30 mg total). It definitely worked but I was still a tad bit nervous the first min or so of talking. If I hadn’t taken them, I surely would’ve froze in place and my heart would’ve jumped out of my chest. Long story short, it’s amazing that these pills can control your heart rate, etc but I do think 30 mg is the right dose for me. 20 is probably a bit too low Only downside is I felt a little spacey and sluggish for a few hours after.
Just been prescribed theese today same dosage for anxiety and panic attacks. The ambulance had to come after I rang 111 and explained my symptoms thay said due to what I'm telling them thay would have to despatch one to me and do a check on me due to these symptoms been the same as a heart attack thay got here and gave me a few tests such as ECG electrio cardiograph and told me my heart was fine and my oxygen levels in my blood but I'm experiencing panic attacks anyway long story short I have had theree today and thay have helped unbelievable amounts although I would like to deal with my issue independently as I personally belive that's the best way
The biggest concern is Memory problems :( I can hear it in your speech you cannot get your words out i noticed when i don't take them for days my memory comes back but they only last 6 hours in your body its best to take one every 4 hours :) stay away from caffeine and smoking cigarettes is a good anxiety tip
Being a pharmacist if someone use beta blockers for long time so they should not discontinue drug abruptly slowly slowly tampering the dose because beta blockers upregulate beta receptors on heart and severe tachycardia and palpitations are occurr which may worse your conditions Thanks
Ali - really? I am considering to go on them, as I constantly worry about my upcoming presentation and public speaking in general. Did you still get even a little bit nervous?
@@Leo-ws6cp Yes, it works especially if you are fearing and worrying before presentation, it will make you happy and ready to present. Im not taking regularly, just before public speaking (take it before 2 hours). Use 40 mg, another advantage of it you will not feel fear and depression after taking it. I took and presented well with full confidence, smile everything...I just realized I am giving presentation to one year kids...haha... sweating is the effect of tablet in my case (a bit sweating on hands for a while because it fix your system). Best of luck
@Elvira A. First I would recommend to take 20 mg dose or if you have 40 mg then you can split it into two and take one piece from it. Take it at least 1 hour before your work...the effect last for few hours say..4-5 hours but when you take it in low amount you will not feel any drastic effect. Another benefit of it is after taking some doses you will not feel any pressure, nervousness etc without taking these tablets. Avoid from high dose it can make you overconfident or you will feel I drunk highly .
Thanks, I’m on 4 of those a day, I have Graves’ disease & my TSH levels are 50 times as high as they should be, I suffer from severe PTSD as well so perhaps these will be good. Ii haven’t been prescribed these for my PTSD just trying to get my thyroid to act normal. It’s great to hear someone who isn’t a doctor discuss the affects as I feel that some doctors over prescribe & become desensitised to these types of medication. Good luck with your journey 👍
This was informative. You seemed very calm I was wondering how you actually know if you could be described as a person with anxiety as I think I'm alright but when I think that (even as I write this) I get more confused about my state of mind. Some days it's tranquil and easy but some days I just feel like I'm in some trance of fear which I don't really understand why it happens. It's quite abrupt. If anyone could give me any advice which doesn't require something outlandish I would be open to read and I'd be greatful.
This is something I have also been thinking a lot about and a direction I want to take this channel. I was a terrible speaker either on camera or in public (still not the best), but I've made something like 400 RUclips videos (this channel plus other channels) so repeated exposure to something that caused me to have an anxiety response (used to sweat even talking to the camera) has now become normal, to the point I'm comfortable doing 1 hour or longer livestreams. Work on yourself as a person, expose yourself to the things that you fear and over time and your brain will rewire itself through repetition. I'm unsure if you are male or female, but both sexes seem to be suffering with a lack of direction in life, I believe men especially are struggling with this, and this leads to a confused state of mind something like that which you have talked.
This has been a miracle drug for me....I began suffering from high anxiety/panic attacks, couldn't cope with daily tasks (even the thought of gardening stressed me out), meeting friends felt like I was going for an interview, I even traveled abroad to see some good friends to go to an amazing festival and I only relaxed when I had alcohol (which is not a solution and it's only temporary). Upon my return I saw my GP and explained it all, I was dreading anti-depressants to be honest, as I have seen friends/family who use them and you can instantly tell that they are under medication. The very first pill relaxed me, within two days I started doing the things I like again with no side effects at all. Zero drowsiness, I am still energetic, I went for a long run....cardio is slightly affected due to lower blood pressure but the benefits far outweigh this. I even found the strength and courage to tell my manager and head of department about what I have been suffering with in silence and they were very supportive. I also like the flexibility of the drug, you don't have to follow a regime, I was told by my GP to take three a day but I can just take one if I feel relaxed enough (or none!) - That alone is very positive. I definitely don't see myself using these for the long term, but I can now start exercising properly again and the thought alone that there is a pill available to help me cope, is enough to actually ease my anxiety.
@@chadengel1422 They helped a lot but they are not the solution unfortunately. I have stopped taking them now, as I don't want to keep messing with medication affecting the heart, but they were very good for the initial bad days. I have much less anxiety now, because I exercise more and also left my previous job (not a good environment that greatly contributed to my anxiety). Pills alone will not help, you need to identify what is stressing you and make changes. It's not easy but things can get better.
@panostsak thank you for your response. I generally only have the physical response of anxiety but sadly it's 24/7. My Dr prescribed me propranolol, lexapro, and klonopin. I dont want to get hooked on benzos or be reliant on any pills so I'm mainly in the research stage right now. Hopefully I find something that stops the physical response meaning the sinking feeling in my chest, the physical nervousness in my chest.
@@chadengel1422 I would say "don't worry", but I know how it feels when you have anxiety...mine was mainly physical too. Propraronol will definitely help and it's not a strong medication compared to others, you will feel more relaxed physically. If you start lexapro, just be mindful that will usually get a bit worse before it gets better. Just be patient and give it a chance...it may take up to a month before you see the full benefits. Take benzos when it gets very bad (unless of course you were given specific instructions on how to take them, but please no more than a week!). Just hang in there, it will get better...don't stop lexapro suddenly either, speak to your Dr first. I wish you all the best, you will get through this, feel free to DM me if you need any tips or help with anything.
This is an amazing drug as far as I am concerned. I am currently on my first 10mg tablet. And the constant fight or flight response is kaput. It's gone. I am even trying to dredge up some mental anxiety to see if it causes my heart to pound and...no. It just isn't happening. It isn't a benzo, sure, and I have taken clonazepam before as well. But I am almost ready to say this is better than clonazepam for me. Sure, it doesn't hit the GABA in the brain there like the benzos do but my heart is calm. I am calm. I am trying not to be as a point of experiment and I am not sure I can. Wonder drug here. Wonderful.
The horrendous side effects drove me insane, blurred vision, burning scalp, eyes, hands and feet, dizziness ,fatigue , nightmares, impossible to sleep. Emergency Dr told me to stop taking them immediately.
Sorry I was having anxiety for over 4 years now on till I discovered Mushroom and microdosing capsules that saved I'm so so very From anxiety now😁 I'm glad I discovered an online store I ordered where I ordered from
This medicine sounds like exactly what I need.. Have a lot of stuff coming up in life and beginning to have panic attacks and constant anxiety phyiscal symptoms when i havent had them in years, now my body is constantly shaking/sweating and I can hardly speak in meetings at work.. Used to take Klonopin which was a lifesaver but withdrawal was rough so maybe Ill suggest these to my doctor
I have been prescribed propanlol 40mg and im finding them very helpful, I have taken diazepams 10mg in the past and it had a strange effect on me, these are much better. Hopefully the physical symptoms of anxiety will detirriate.
Hey any updates? My doctor brought it up and told me to think about it. I have anxiety i think. I did a stress test, echocardiogram, and this friday will be doing a follow up at the cardiologist to rule out something being wrong with my heart
i have a friend who feel stomach anxious when having public speaking .. a huge pressure of maybe acid or excessive gas upper stomach after that the numbness starting and the panic cycle start. i wonder how this solve this problem specially the stomach part cuz that what triggers the panic when he starts to deliver public speaking
I'm thinking of trying to get these so i can finally pass my driving test, normal driving is ok but as soon as there's a person with a clipboard scrutinising every move i make, i crumble. My whole leg will shake on the clutch sometimes and i just can't get through the whole thing without making a nervous error. Anyone have any experience with taking them for this situation?
Take it, it is a life saver you cannot imagine. I took it before my interview yesterday and it worked like a charm. Normally, my heart rate would be going max which results in my whole body shaking uncontrollably (hands, legs), voice tremor and lack of eye contact because of the shame. Two years ago I didn't know about this drug and done an interview, suffice to say all of the above symptoms were present (I only got the job because I did my university internship there, if not I would have never got it in a million years with that performance) You may be still nervous beforehand, but it does not interfere with you concentration or your motor movement :) Good luck with the driving test.
Im an art student who has to present projects constantly.. I get bad anxiety from stage fright, it's gone from embarrassment to down right frustration. I'm looking to get a prescription for beta blockers. What is the likelihood that my doctor will give me a prescription?
I’ve been subscribed 40mg, 3 times a day. But I find that dose too high. So now I’m trying cutting the pills into 10mg quarters. So I’m only gonna take 10mg twice a day.
I take 10mg twice a day. Takes the edge off. Was originally told to take 3 10mg a day. Kept missing doses and didnt feel right. 10 mg twice a day is the sweet spot
Ive just took my first one at 2pm and been given mitazipine for night sleep and depression ... And don't forget to drink few glasses of water so u dont get tablet headache it will help alot drinking water even 5 glasses a day even leave glass of water on the side so every time you go in the kitchen and have a couple of sip or even down it and make another one leave it on the so you don't forget to have some water
I've been prescribed the 40 mg for anxiety, from the time you take one, how long before it completely wears off? 30mins to get in the system, 90mins for peak effect ... another 90 to come down??? Is there anything you would take with them to increase/improve the effect? I've found that 3hrs after taking them I'm profoundly calm, but I'm not sure if this is placebo. Anxiety.....its great!
According to what I read peak concentration can take 1 to 4 hrs and then the half life is 3-6 hrs. So after 3-6 hrs it should be half the effect and nearly 100% out of your system in about 12-20 hrs.
Maybe you have any experience with Betaxolol? It's selective beta blocker known to have less side effects than propranolol, not sure if it's much different than propranolol on how it works, but basically I have some lying around. My psych only prescribed me Xanax and SSRI's, SSRI's did nothing and Xanax is a terrible drug with worse withdrawal than amphetamine or meth so I'd rather drink alcohol for my anxiety and panic. Kinda afraid to take it as it messes with heart, BP, lungs and such, I also have sinus tachycardia with occasional high blood pressure. Based on some old study Betaxolol deals with Panic attacks and Anxiety in like 2-3 days of using it so I am not even sure if it will work straight away as I don't plan on using them daily.
There are some nootropics available, mostly online, that are helpful for social anxieties as a short term medicine. Some can be addicting though so careful of course. Just use them for specific situations. Things like this help me be more myself, as sometimes, depending on the day, my inhibitions or nervousness reallly gets in the way of being me. First date, job interview, stuff like that I'll opt for it.
I am on 10mg of propranolol with combination of my 45mg Mirtazapine (that’s going to change to Prozac) and I have to take propranolol twice everyday to reduce my anxiety and I strangely do not feel a lot of side effects but I did feel a little light headed but I woke up a lot less anxious... I was weirded out when I heard this was a blood pressure tablet but it’s also for anxiety. I’m glad this had reduced so much with my anxiety... just wondering if you had any side effects as well to propranolol?
Anxiety is hell. And I know all about it 🙏. Take care . Side effects for me was it made me worst , I stopped completely. And I was on 12.5mg a day . Big mistake . Severe fatigue & shortness of breath
I've been in antidepressants for 15 years already and from time ago I've tried to stop them. I haven't been able because of anxiety. I think Propanolol could be a wonderful resource to leave antidepressants in my case, which is due (I feel) in a great way due by anxiety. I think one suffering has led to the other. Anxiety led me to depression, and this is the first time I discover something, other than tranquilizers like Valium, which do not let you drive a normal lifestyle. Thanks a lot for your sharing about this so basic, but newly (at least for me!😄) anxiety fighter drug!
My dr will not prescribe me these 😓 at first she said I was too young as I was 18 but now that I’m 21 I’m still not recommended to go on them and try therapy which previously did not work on me. I don’t know what to do as my anxiety is going out of control. I need help 😩😩😓😓
Ive been prescribed this but haven't started taking it yet Being dizzy and feeling close to passing out and blurred vision is what effects me the most when i have an attack and it comes out of nowhere. Are you still on these and does it give you any bad side effects. Thanks 👍👍
Hi just a general question and would really appreciate some reply’s more for some reassurance! Does anyone else suffer from headaches and neck/back tension from anxiety ??? Not like migraines can’t really explain the feeling to well more like pressure had them for years and wake up with them almost daily now and it’s exhausting! Looking for options what could help me and give some relief and have been prescribed these…not taken yet! Want to be who I use to be if that makes sense…hopefully someone understands or has similar issues. thank you
1. I really believe not to take these just work on your root negative thinking 2. move your ass as hard as you can 3. show gratitude in everything you have 4. I have heart health anxiety i do fast running just to prove my self that i can run...i run as long as i can't catch my breath 5. alway be spiritual thanking god 6. change your perception for anxiety as not a enemy 7. it is just a reminder that you have to let go off negativity 8.when you face panic just say your self "that's all you have, show me something more bad I'm not afraid of it now" 9. god bless you all...
I have high adrenaline issues, It was given to me because it causes tremors.. it has not helped me at my current dosage, The highest dose i have taken is 10mg ... will 20 work for anyone? I see minimum dosage is 20mg for public speaking and it's where it starts working for what I have.
Good video, these work so far for me so well, I can’t believe this is what people function like on a day to day basis without this medication. It’s hard to explain but I feel like it doubles my life expectancy, I’ve been living with bad anxiety for as long as I can remember and it takes so much energy and brain function out of your day. But with these it clears my head of useless pointless worrying/thoughts and actually helps me focus on what’s important. The only side effect I’ve had the past 4 days on them is slight drowsiness, but I’ll take that over the hopelessness and worrying I felt while not on them. I’m not a doctor but I’d highly recommend these for someone who feels like all their energy and thoughts are riddled with anxiety. I agree it’s important to not rely on them everyday, but it’s definitely a huge Step in the right direction and will help you talk through your feelings and get yourself in the right mindset. Good luck everyone.
@@anthonydilele7808 Yes been on them since I commented, there's some days where I don't need them, I figured I only mainly need them on the weekdays, the weekends I'm fine, telling me its work stressing me out.. it might help you figure out why/when you need them the most and as a result helping you realise what you need to change. As for Physical / Mental affects, nothing but positives all the way, I havent had any physical issues since being on them and they really do help with anxiety. I hope they help you!
update: i’ve stopped taking these as taking them most days just didn’t have the same affect as when i first started. life is hard. I’ve stopped smoking, started the gym, stopped eating a shithole of processed foods, sorted my diet out. Yes i still get anxious but going to the gym and weight training makes you feel confident, try it, stick to it and work hard, it takes time though so you need to understand that! give it a few months and see how you feel if you really want to. Back when i commented i think i just started to give up on life and tried to find easy ways to feel at least a bit better. you really need to feel it inside yourself to just say fuck it, fuck you and stick to a healthy routine, don’t let people get in YOUR way! Also look into zinc supplements!!

I think these little pills saved my carreer, also I didn´t notice any side effects.
uvuvwevwevweonyetenyevweugwemubwemossas Nice. Good to hear they worked well for you!
That’s actually really great to hear. I might consider taking them. I would never be interested in taking something like this in case it ended up fucking me up even more but I’m desperate, man 😅
Can you just take one whenever you get anxious, up to 40mg x 3 per day? There doesn’t have to be a regular pattern of taking them?

Agree! I took Vistril for the thoughts and propanilol for the physical symptoms. Perfect simple way to explain it.
I guess everyone is different. However a recent study found complete elimination of phobias.

Thank you!

Are you taking it daily?
And how many doses from how many day?
I've been prescribed 10 mg to take as needed for situational anxiety. So I only take in social settings. I've taken it 4 times and its done wonders for me! Everything just flows naturally and I feel like I'm the best version of myself. I'm prescribed 50 mg of sertraline as well for depression but have stopped taking it as it's made me tired and unmotivated and I'm not as depressed anymore
Good to hear about your great results

Hi
My Dr has just advised me to start these as my anxiety has started to get quite bad, thanks for sharing your experience

Who is JP? Not Sears?? (Although I say Sears it is a serious question)
Have you tried any other medicine ?

I also don't take them every single day, I will only take them when I have work or if I'm going somewhere. But I have found that I am dependent on them, without them I will have the shakes in my hands, and my anxiety will creep in.

For once I can get my thoughts in order without them speeding through my mind.
but is this habbit forming medicne?
I think it can be. But I don’t fiend for it, just when something gives me extreme anxiety so I can progress through it.
I just started today with the same combo your comment made me hopeful tomorrow day 2.
Are you still on zoloft as well? I am interested in starting this to stop klonipin

It’s actually healthier and easier on the body if your heart is slower (i.e. lower heart rate)
did not know that
+Mark Ching Took it yet? My HR is also that low
Or valerian root, but not both at the same time.)
Low blood pressure & heart rate.
Do you know if these are possible side effects? Thank you… Jason

The ambulance had to come after I rang 111 and explained my symptoms thay said due to what I'm telling them thay would have to despatch one to me and do a check on me due to these symptoms been the same as a heart attack thay got here and gave me a few tests such as ECG electrio cardiograph and told me my heart was fine and my oxygen levels in my blood but I'm experiencing panic attacks anyway long story short I have had theree today and thay have helped unbelievable amounts although I would like to deal with my issue independently as I personally belive that's the best way
I'm glad to hear of your positive results. Best of luck

I'm not very good at public speaking is probably the biggest reason. The optimum is to use either no or the absolute minimum amount of drug/medicine
@@51North Me too mate im terrible so i dont do it hehe And i just noticed when im on them my memory is horrendous hahah
Being a pharmacist if someone use beta blockers for long time so they should not discontinue drug abruptly slowly slowly tampering the dose because beta blockers upregulate beta receptors on heart and severe tachycardia and palpitations are occurr which may worse your conditions
Thanks
This tablet is magic really...........it helped in my presentation..so confident never thought....
@Elvira A. Also with time you can reduce the amount further..you can split 40 mg into four parts or even smaller
@@FilmFrontiers982 its ery informative comment's sir... Thanks
Hope you have found relief!!!
@@51North thanks for the advice I respect the earnestness
So u don't have anxiety anymore at all? How long did u take these pills?
@@panostsak I haven't taken anything except 1 propranolol just 10 mins ago for the 1st time. Kinda scared right now tbh
Wonderful.
So glad it works for you. Very bad med to my body.
I am trying to get off klonipin so I think this may help me are you still taking it and does it help still??
The horrendous side effects drove me insane, blurred vision, burning scalp, eyes, hands and feet, dizziness ,fatigue , nightmares, impossible to sleep. Emergency Dr told me to stop taking them immediately.
I take 2 40mg tablets a day to help with anxiety / stress and sore chest symptoms where my left side of my chest feels like it’s away to explode.
My doctor prescribed me 40 mg twice a day too
12 years and I still have too much anxiety to even see a doctor for help …

This medicine sounds like exactly what I need.. Have a lot of stuff coming up in life and beginning to have panic attacks and constant anxiety phyiscal symptoms when i havent had them in years, now my body is constantly shaking/sweating and I can hardly speak in meetings at work.. Used to take Klonopin which was a lifesaver but withdrawal was rough so maybe Ill suggest these to my doctor
I just got prescribed this for social anxiety, and I only plan on using it for situations I know I'll have high anxiety.
Did it work?
I have been prescribed propanlol 40mg and im finding them very helpful, I have taken diazepams 10mg in the past and it had a strange effect on me, these are much better. Hopefully the physical symptoms of anxiety will detirriate.
Good luck on your journey!
I got prescribed this recently, my mum was a bit hesitant after a bad experience with beta blockers. Thank you for the informative video 😊
+Georgia Bezzy No problem. Are you on 10mg of propranolol?
JasonPineapple yup
+Georgia Bezzy See how they work for you. Also look for other releases in life. Mine are running and cycling, but yours could br anything :)
JasonPineapple thanks very much
I take medicine for my anxiety so much and I fell like my medicine doesn’t work very well it only makes me hungry
@@samgaffney1606 How many did you take?
I hope you got the job! :)
Im an art student who has to present projects constantly.. I get bad anxiety from stage fright, it's gone from embarrassment to down right frustration. I'm looking to get a prescription for beta blockers. What is the likelihood that my doctor will give me a prescription?
I just been prescribed from my Dr I've never have anxiety before in my life just came out of nowhere great video
My left eye is completely blurry due to dry eyes from propranolol... I got given eye drops but I'm still so worried
I’ve been subscribed 40mg, 3 times a day. But I find that dose too high. So now I’m trying cutting the pills into 10mg quarters. So I’m only gonna take 10mg twice a day.
How did it go?
Still alive ?
Smh
It s causing me bad vivid dreams and nightmares to a point where I'm scared to sleep now.. Been on it for 2 years.. Don't know what to do
Try adding more exercise, nutrition and sleep to your daily routine. It's alot to add all 3 at once, so start with getting on top of one if you can
Sergio Daniel nigga shut up
It's because the fear effects its killing in your consciousness is showing up in your subconscious now
There are some nootropics available, mostly online, that are helpful for social anxieties as a short term medicine.
Hi,can I take 10 mg of propranolol daily for a month, with a pulse of 70 and normal pressure, will my pulse decrease significantly?
Why coming off mirtazapine?
@@jotogroohey do you take it once a day?
Wats dosage using?
I’m on 40mg for anxiety but I’m sure it’s causing insomnia. I want to come off them them . I’ve been taking them for 2 months
I take them for heart failure
My dr will not prescribe me these 😓 at first she said I was too young as I was 18 but now that I’m 21 I’m still not recommended to go on them and try therapy which previously did not work on me. I don’t know what to do as my anxiety is going out of control. I need help 😩😩😓😓
You can always request another doctor :)
Never used before anything like that. Works beautifully
Theanine chills me out. Very mild effect but all positive.
Can you still focus eg studies?
Ive been prescribed this but haven't started taking it yet Being dizzy and feeling close to passing out and blurred vision is what effects me the most when i have an attack and it comes out of nowhere. Are you still on these and does it give you any bad side effects. Thanks 👍👍
You're probably taking a dose that is too high. Please consult your doctor. It's important.
Want to be who I use to be if that makes sense…hopefully someone understands or has similar issues.
thank you
1. I really believe not to take these just work on your root negative thinking
2. move your ass as hard as you can
3. show gratitude in everything you have
4. I have heart health anxiety i do fast running just to prove my self that i can run...i run as long as i can't catch my breath
5. alway be spiritual thanking god
6. change your perception for anxiety as not a enemy
7. it is just a reminder that you have to let go off negativity
8.when you face panic just say your self "that's all you have, show me something more bad I'm not afraid of it now"
9. god bless you all...
I have high adrenaline issues, It was given to me because it causes tremors..
it has not helped me at my current dosage, The highest dose i have taken is 10mg ...
will 20 work for anyone? I see minimum dosage is 20mg for public speaking and it's where it starts working
for what I have.
I have just been prescribed these I’m hoping they work are you still taking these
@@anthonydilele7808 Yes been on them since I commented, there's some days where I don't need them, I figured I only mainly need them on the weekdays, the weekends I'm fine, telling me its work stressing me out.. it might help you figure out why/when you need them the most and as a result helping you realise what you need to change.
Also look into zinc supplements!!
the day I take propranolol I fall asleep on time but wake up within 3 hours and cant go back to sleep for a few hours.
Did you build tolerance?
