These products are BRILLIANT! I've been using them since October and my hair has grown so much. This is the type of growth I would have in a year and be really happy with and it's had this growth in such a short time.
You said that the products aren't diluted with any water so they're very concentrated but the first ingredient listed on every product except the oil and hairspray IS water

It saddens me as a professional hairstylist myself you would stand behind a dishonest company. How can you support a company that has people selling something and giving advice on hair when they have no background on it? If you actually look into the ingredients they are not all natural, just because it says vegan doesn’t make it vegan or clean. I won’t stand behind a company that is 3 men just trying to make a ton of money with no hair education. One scientist doesn’t make them credible. They are a pyramid scheme to. Also the “shedding” process the fact that people have that lasting for months it’s crazy! We both know that’s not normal. Be a stylist and stand up for what is right not with a fraud company.
I am surprised you think just because someone is not a hair dresser they cannot sell a hair product. So, are you telling me every time you go to a beauty supply store or better yet, Sephora all the employees are professionally trained in every product that is sold in these stores?? I doubt it! And I know, nobody ever second guesses the employees of these companies and their knowledge or experience. I know this for a fact, because I worked for Clinique cosmetic for seven years and I started in my senior year of high school. Never did a customer ask about my training or experience! However, I believed in Clinique and their products. So, I made every effort to educate myself. I truly wanted to help every customer that came to the Clinique counter in order to sell them the right product for their needs. Monat is a company that promotes a family atmosphere where everyone helps everyone to become more knowledgeable of the Monat products in order to give a customer the best product for their concerns or needs with their hair. However, with that being said you are always going to find a bad apple in every company just as there are BAD hairdressers out there that truly do not know what they are doing! I know because I've had BAD hair color treatments. I'm not sure if you have ever used Monat, but I do and they are amazing! Even my 80 year old mother who stopped using Rogain has had amazing results! Perhaps you should try Monat before you bad mouth their products. And here is some food for thought... consider the negative reviews you may have come across are perhaps some hair product companies out there feeling threatened by Monat so they are producing negativity through youtube or feedback platforms!! Just a thought! Give Monat a try! :0)
Give Monat a try? Bitch, are you out of fucking mind? I know you won't look it up but for the people reading the comments, just search a "Monat review" on youtube. You can also see some of people's complaints in this comment section. Monat products are actual garbage that makes people lose their hair and I am too saddened that Elle would be this dishonest of a person.

@@daniellyelly7718 if you had any common sense you’d look up the ingredients and realize it has the same exact base chemicals as drugstore shampoos and compared to head and shoulders, tresemme, ogx and Pantene, Monat actually has the longest(most toxic) ingredients list.

I have really damaged hair and I have been wanting to go blonde, I been looking for something that will work to heal my hair because everything I've tried has not worked and feel like all these products been drying my hair instead of helping it, so I'm very happy and excited to try this product out... thank u so much for explaining how the product works:)))))

I have used this product for over a year, I drank the coolaid... I just can't justify the absolutely ridiculous price. I like it but it's just like any other good quality salon brand out there. And no offense some of this is an outright lie. Saying there's no water in it. BS. Water is the first ingredient.
utopiachild71 actually monat products r 80% product 20% water where all other products r 60% product 40% water. The same sized product of monat vs any other brand same sized (say 8oz) will last u 120 washes , any other will last 16 washes ..., leading to having to spend more $$ on other hair products. Ppl who have had bad results, seem to just not b using the CORRECT match to ur hair type etc. thanks tho! ♥️🖤
utopiachild71 their website claims that they use less water and it’s reverse osmosis water. I had been so excited to try it and switch from Aveda to MONAT. Now, I’m afraid too and not so excited to try!

Hahaha maybe check your bottles before you say they're not made of water? First ingredient on both shampoo and conditioner. Not that that's a bad thing but a little fact checking might make you sound more credible.

Monat damaged my hair so badly. After 9 months, it is SLOWLY getting better. I WAS a MP and had knowledge of how to use it properly. My hair was dry and brittle.

Madeline Harlow it’s called a detox 🙃 some people are diff .. some people have that issue when they are color damaged and heat damaged majority of the time. +smay727 haha Hi! well - a lot of people think it's similar to Olaplex and it really isn't, so don't let that discourage you :) I still use Olaplex myself, and I use Monat, it's 2 completely different things. I use and love the Monat line and she’s completely correct about it being concentrated you barely need any product so all of them last an extremely long time and don’t cost an insane amount more when you’re looking at how long it actually takes to run out

You really do your research before approving of these products and for that Im going to try Monat
I had a sample of this and it left my hair feeling so greasy the next day I had to wash and I usually can skip days and already use sulfate free..

You have to use it right and give it time to work.
When you use MONAT you should get your hair really wet. Then you put a dime/quarter size in your hand. Rub your hands together until it turn white. Then pat it on your scalp. Then massage it in. It will feel sticky. Then let it sit a minute or two. It will not suds.Then rinse.
Then repeat shampoo. Then it suds. Then let it sit. On Scalp only. Then rinse.
Then squeeze out water. Then put in a quarter size of conditioner in your hands. Rub together. Then put on your hair. I always start on everything but the scalp. And focus on the ends and a little bit on the scalp.
Those are directions you receive from MONAT on how to use it.

I have used the monat volume system for six weeks, now. I love it!! It has brought so much life back to my hair:) However, though my hair volume is beautiful, I have not yet seen new hair growth. My next autoship is the rejuvenique oil - I hope the oil will activate new hair growth :/

I absolutely love you and your channel and from all the research I've done on MONAT products it is true that they work well. With that being said, I am a little confused because the first ingredients in their Balance line shampoo is water, sodium sulphates and sodium chlorides and in this video you mention you're not paying for water, but thats the first ingredient. I'm not trying to be rude or a hater I'm just confused and like I said before I really do love your channel you are one of my favourite RUclipsrs
The first product is listed as water because they still have to have water in there. It's just not as much water as you find in traditional shampoos!

+ellebangs Why is the Monat Black so strong in scent? My boyfriends mother gave me Monat Black to try since she sells them and I didn't know it was strong. I love the smell of peppermint but the feeling was like, WOW. I usually wash my hair in the kitchen sink and on that day my whole face felt the peppermint. I'm not sure if that was a good or bad thing. Should I stick with it? It's very hard to not get the shampoo/conditioner on my face/eyes.
+Soullurre the pepermint is actually great for the scalp and skin. I would maybe avoid using it in the sink to prevent it form getting in your eyes :)

The first time I used Monat shampoo, I felt as though it did lather pretty well, also, a little bit DOES go a long way. I wanted to wash my whole body with this!! I order from my cousin. After seeing her hair results I had to use it. I switched from using WEN.

I did actually.....but haven't uploaded my pics. but i do have to say, these products are AMAZING!!!! I have the oil, a shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, and a thick conditioner. These products go a long way, as I only use a little every time. My hair is so healthy and I dye it every 5-6 weeks. As soon as I upload my photos, I will post it. I know you posted this some time ago but I'm just now learning about this. Which products do you recommend for thin hair? (Mine is mainly on the top of my scalp.) I had thicker hair in high school (I'm only 20 now.) but last year I went through a LOT of stress and took various medications. I just now stopped using blow dryers and straighteners to help. But I want to try this because everyone says it helps hair regrow. My hairline has gotten sparse. Sorry for such a long message but I hope you see this and can help!

Some of the comments people are flipping out about water being the first ingredient, but she said it was 40% water. Those ingredients are listed by quantity, what other single ingredient is going to constitute more than 40% of the product? It makes sense that water is the first ingredient 😊.
Also I think she seems sincere. I don’t think she’s trying to push or cheat anyone, this is a video for people who Want to try it. So let them try it, it works for some and not for others it seems :).

My experience with monat has been an absolute disaster. It made my hair really dry, tangled and brittle. The worst part was the hair loss. My hair is so much thinner now. Huge disappointment
how often do you wash your hair? i only wash once a week and I can basically use any shampoo I want since my hair oils sit and hydrate my hair throughout the week

Kacie Davis Why do you even have to explain how to use shampoo and conditioner? Insane! How are you so certain that they didn’t use this method ? And if they did “apply too much” your hair still shouldn’t FALL OFF because you used too much or too little. One thing is getting dry hair or getting a lot of tangles, but your hair falling off has nothing to do with using products correctly, it has to do with ingredients.

Do you still use purple shampoo? I wash my hair twice a week and want to use this, but I am curious because with how platinum white my hair is, I feel like I need to use a purple shampoo every time I wash it. Would it not be very beneficial or maybe even counter productive if I were to be using a purple shampoo once a week with this the other time I wash?

Hi, you said the products are not diluted with water but that is the first ingredient in most of the products. You also said to use a very little amount but the website said use a generous amount. I'm confused.
@AngelaT HI I'm a MP with this company as well. We are told to tell people to start with a dime size amount because it's all product. And to work in your hands first before applying it to the hair. A system is lasting people at least 2 months if not longer. Mine has actually been lasting me 2 1/2 months. Hope this helped.

+Kimberly Mendez Hey Kimberly! I'm helping out Silvia here and there and just as she mentions in her video, the oil is awesome! Using the oil is an amazing way to detoxify and exfoliate the scalp and you will easily see results on a dry scalp or one that has product build up, especially when used with a Monat shampoo and conditioner. Even though the immediate results are awesome, it takes you hair 90 days to go through a complete cycle and that's when you'll really see the long term benefits!

I was on a vacation near the ocean and I met two women who had amazing hair, they told me they use Monat. I guess it works, however, some say it doesn’t. The company is going on five years, it wouldn’t survive this long unless they were doing something right.

Do you what your clients issues with hypothyroid were? I actually emailed the company to see if they have had clients with hypothyroid who have had success with this product. I have severe hypothyroid so I loose a lot of hair and the hair I have is very dull and constantly breaks.

I understand that it takes about a month to work, but I have really thick but also really damaged hair so I don't wash it every day. I wash it twice a week, would it take the same amount of time to work or a bit longer? Also, when applying the conditioner, do you recommend the smallest amount like the shampoo or more? Really looking forward to buying!!

+Rana Heidari the thickness of your hair shouldnt determine how long it takes for you to see results but rather the damage to your hair. As for conditioner I do use a little bit more than I do shampoo but i shampoo twice and condition once so in all I use about the same of each product in each shower session :)

Hi, I am about to order some Monat products. I tried the revive which is not for my type of hair but I liked the results. My question is, do you still recommend this brand? I don't think it is expensive, I buy more expensive products in Sephora, and never saw my hair looking so nice with the first use. I would be interesting to know why you stop recommending it

I had never heard of this product, but the new stylist I had ( because I just moved to this town) I gave her my formula from my previous stylist, and in my formula it had Olaplex added, she said that she used something more natural that she started using, rather than the actual Olaplex, because Redken and Olaplex has too many chemicals in them, this was after the color service was started. Her salon says they use Redken products, she used that oil around my hair line, and all throughout my hair, two days later ( I never shampoo my hair at least two days or longer after color or highlights) my hair has broken off really bad around my face. I ALWAYS use REDKEN products in my hair, love that product line. My hair has never broken off like this. I don’t know what to do about this, oh yes btw, my highlights are a deep orange, so now I’m using some serious hair masks, no hot tools, so what can I do to get this fixed, (hair color, highlights are orange). I can say I would never use this product, online I saw 15 lawsuits against this company as well, Monat. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Also, I have long hair, it ends at the top of bra strap. No matter what shampoo or conditioner I use I have to use a load of conditioner. In order to get the knots out I use a pic comb in the shower when my hair is wet to get the knots out. Is there any kind of shampoo and conditioner that won't make my hair feel like straw. and all knotted up in the shower.

I looked at the ingredients and the first ingredient is water, and they have alcohol and fragance. maybe three alcohol is OK because I know there's some kinds of alcohol in products that help keep the product good. but water as the first ingredient and fragance in the ingredients??

well you can't make shampoo without water, but it still has much less water than other shampoos. As for the alcohol, yes you are right it contains the essential alcohol that which have no damage to the hair, here is a list of bad alcohols for the hair

Some of the Monat products contain Benzyl alcohol (mostly used as preservative & has no effect on how hair looks and feels) Hope this answers your questions :)

Alcohols with low molecular weights, the bad-for-skin and hair kind can be drying and sensitizing. The alcohols to be concerned about in skincare and hair care products are ethanol or ethyl alcohol, denatured alcohol, methanol, isopropyl alcohol, SD alcohol, and benzyl alcohol. Monat contains benzyl alcohol in many of their products.. it is not a ‘clean’ haircare brand.. and imo, far from naturally based!..
Very high concentrations of benzyl alcohol can result in toxic effects including respiratory failure, vasodilation, hypotension, convulsions, and paralysis. Benzyl alcohol is toxic to neonates, it is associated with the gasping syndrome. Benzyl alcohol is severely toxic and highly irritating to the eye.. does this sound like a ‘safe’ ingredient to anyone?, even in low amounts?, nope! ..it’s far from clean.. and I was an mp for about 8 months, but as I dug deeper and did my research on ingredients and understood there is no such thing as ‘detox’ for your hair, I knew I could not stand behind this brand..

what's your opinion on "Shea moisture" product because I just died my hair redish plum color and I'm trying to heal it. I have been using most of their products because they say "no sulfate, no parabens, no phthalates, no paraffin, no gluten, no propylene glycol, no mineral oil, no synthetic fragrance, no PABA, no synthetic color, no DEA" they advertise that most of their product have shea butter or Jamaican oils and really inriched things to help your hair. They have many products with 100% pure Shea oil and growth serum which i bought recently and idk if their working. In your opinion do you think it would help damaged hair?
