    I am NOT being paid by Monat for this video - this is 100% my own opinion and in no way sponsored. This is the most excited Ive ever been about a hair product line. It has healed and saved my hair!! Without any harsh yucky chemicals.

      Does the "leave in conditioner" contain any of the $99 oil? I'm wondering, because typically I find in most lines of hair products the shamp, & cond & styling products usually have a bit of the expensive "magic potion" product in it too. I totally plan on buying the oil next pay week I'm just too cheap to get it until then. [which will be Friday actually]. I'm ordering the leave in right now. 💇. I'm oober jealous of your hair so I'll apply dog poop 💩 to my hair if I find out that, that's what YOU DO!!!🙊

    I am getting a lot of confused viewers asking "what about Olaplex?" Olaplex and Monat products are two completely different products.
    Olaplex is meant to be mixed with bleach to prevent breakage and dryness that occurs while bleaching and lightning. Olaplex does not Heal your hair on its own
    And viewers who are saying they are buying olaplex on the internet and applying it to their hair in hopes its going to heal their hair, Its not! Olaplex doesn't heal your hair. It only PREVENTS breakage, and only works when mixed with color/bleach.
    I will continue to use Olaplex at the salon on all my blonde clients and Monat to add shine and strength to my clients hair. Monat is the extra step for people who want to heal their hair even those who don't bleach or color their hair so you can achieve any color you want. And what sets it part from everything else is that it's free of all chemicals, parabens and sulfates.
    Hope this clarifies your questions and concerns on Olaplex vs. Monat

      I have a question for you , I need help on how to dye my hair again I bleached my hair 3 times but I haven't dyed my hair it all in about 7 or 8 months so pretty much my roots are already out my natural hair color is dark brown and obviously I still have that old bleach on my rest of my hair and I really want to get a really nice beach balayage blonde or a very light ash blonde and so what exactly do I need to buy ? because I don't want to bleach my hair again , what do I need to do to get either of the colors that I told you about beach balayage blonde or a very light ash blonde ?

      +ellebangs I thought Olaplex mended broken bonds so therefore does mend hair, you can use it as a stand alone treatment and not just in bleaching etc

    • @earisu
      @earisu 8 лет назад +6

      +ellebangs If that's the case, how come they promote using it as a hair treatment to mend the broken bonds in the hair? And there's salons that offer it as a fixing treatment?

      They are expensive - but I've never before seen all natural products that work as well as these, but you do pay a premium - also, keep in mind you have to use much less product than with ordinary shampoo and conditioner so if you compare what you get out of them it's not as expensive as it seems.

    I've been waiting for a video from a hair stylist like this for a very long time. I have been involved in the no-poo/low-poo community for a year now, which is basically when you switch from traditional commercial shampoos and conditioners which contain harmful ingredients such as those mentioned in your video, to natural alternatives. It seems like hair stylists are very adament about using products in your hair, and I have never met a single hair stylist that believes in no poo/ low poo. I have very thick, very wavy, very porous, very dry hair and for years was buying expensive products, shampoos, conditioners, treatments, etc. to find a solution for my difficult hair. Finally I found out about no poo, but was very skeptical at first. After doing a ton of research, I learned that there are SO MANY benefits other than just avoiding harmful ingredients. My philosophy on hair has changed significantly--currently I use a very gentle all natural "low poo" (once or twice a week), an all natural conditioner, and rosemary oil when I get out of the shower. That's it. That is all I've put into my hair for the past year and my hair has never looked better. Less truly is more when it comes to hair, and it is so so so important to know what you are putting in your hair at all times. Once again, thank you so much for acknowledging the importance of healthy NATURAL hair! I love all your videos but this one is by far my favorite! 😊

      @meggiemoo931 8 лет назад

      The only thing that concerns me about this product is when you mentioned how much it lathers. Typically shampoos that are natural and do not contain parabens or sulfates barely lather or do not lather at all. I'm wondering if you know why this particular product lathers/which ingredient causes the shampoo to lather? Thank you!

    • @meggiemoo931
      @meggiemoo931 8 лет назад

      Update: I just checked out their website and looked at the ingredients of their shampoos. Unfortunately I do not think these products are as natural as they claim to be, they do in fact contain multiple sulfates, salts, alcohols, and fragrances. Seems like a scam to me.

    May you please do a video tutorial about the 3 steps you are mentioning in here : shampooing, conditioning and using oils for daily basis cleaning routine? Yes... probably it sounds silly, but my stylist told me I was doing it completely wrong (about temperature, or needed to take out the excess of water before applying conditioner, etc...) So it would be very helpful to have a tutorial for daily cleansing for people like me... that is trying to heal overtreated hair ... and some others for special treatments (the masks... the ones that use hot oil or vaporiser, etc. ) tyvm

    I LOOOOVE your videos! I have bought and used so many of the products that you recommended, and I loved them.
    I don't know if you only do blonde hair or not, but I wish you would do a few more videos about darker hair. My hair used to be black and I tried getting it lightened to an ashy medium brown (my natural color), but it turned out orange. I have gone into a salon to get it corrected, but I can still see a lot of orange, and you can see the sections where the bleach didnt take out the black so well. I never used box dye and I always went to the salon to get my hair done, but I feel like it looks so terrible and I don't know what to do. Do you have any tips for girls with darker hair?

      +alina ryk The balance line is great for all around hydration and is the usual go to line, especially for darker hair, dry or damaged hair, or ethnic hair. It comes with a leave in conditioner and masque (which is amazing on any hair type!). Sometimes people like to mix things up with the Revitalize (rinse out) conditioner just because they in the habit of rinsing out and then add the leave in to the ends or wherever they need extra hydration.
      The volume line is great for blondes, who can also mix in the leave in or masque as necessary.The oil is awesome for all hair types! Hope this helps!

    I think I should explain the Benefits of signing up as a "VIP" as it doesn't seem very obvious at first glance -
    there's a $20 one time sign up fee - ouch :( - however, you get 15% off all products, so it pays for itself the first time you order really. and on top of that, if you're a VIP and you get your friends to sign up through you - You get points towards free products, so you products could end up being free. Something to consider.xx ellebangs.mymonat.com

    Definitely going to have to try this. I'm always looking for all natural hair care but nothing seems to work but I refuse to use the chemically based shit.. This honestly it's that expensive.. Just the oil is super pricey but everything else seems comparable to salon brands

    Thanks so much for your videos! I live in UT, but travel to see family in Sacramento. I will be making an appt!! Not super soon, but this year! Really excited! Meanwhile, getting my experimented hair into shape.
    Have a question...have you seen that Sally Beauty now has a knockoff line of Blonde Idol? It's called "Blonde Brilliance." Not sure how new it is because I just noticed it yesterday. I've watched your Blonde Idol video. Any way for you to try a comparison? (Or maybe someone else has done a video, I'll do a search). That's asking a lot. It features "oil-infused" developers, they have a "base buster," and a 9-level lifter. And they also have toners that are to be used with the oil-infused developers for tone or lift.

    My blonde hair is extremely damaged. It looks like cotton candy. I think it is from a combination of things: chlorine in water, sun, bleaching, and heat tools (hair dryer, flat iron). Will you tell me how I can get my thick, healthy hair back? Thank you!

    I have a very sensitive scalp and my hair got damaged 5 years ago by my hairdresser as I wanted to get a few blondes in my hair, and it all ended up all bleached. I lost like 30-40% of my hair thickness, and even as I have grown out my natural hair it's still quite damaged. Would these products help? Are they good for a sensitive scalp? My hair is also quite matte and frizzy. I really need some help finding products I could use!

    I've been attempting cool blonde foils for 12 months. Use Olaplex in salon and at home. But not the colour I want yet. Still looks dirty. Surely you have to get the right colour rather than get nearly the right colour then tone. I hate the toner. It not makes my hair look purple

    Is it like the olaplex of shampoo and conditioner? Is that how you would rate it or place it in league with olaplex? I asked mandi sue styles about monet- she raived about it also, I just have been really hesitant on a product that is sales type of of thing, so I'm curious to know if you would say- if olaplex is the hairdressers magic wand- then is monet the every day persons magic wand to achieve healthy hair. I love olaplex and wouldn't dare not have it in my life, and I don't even do hair on clients anymore, I just have it in my arsenal because I live somewhere where it'll be five years before anyone puts it in there salons- rural pa. Lol. Mandi sue said I should absolutely get on the monet train- and now you are saying you use it and love it- AM I MISSING OUT LOL!!! Thanks 😘

    • @sabbyckz
      @sabbyckz 8 лет назад

      you add step 1 to the bleach when you're bleaching your hair, step 2 is while you rinse out the bleach... and step 3 is a treatment you use on towel dried hair and then shampoo out. you leave the step 3 on your hair as long as possible.
