Full disclosure: I do cheer for the Falcons. I like their team and its culture. That last clip, roughing the passer?! For *REAL?* The defender gave him a two-hand touch, and didn't even actually tackle Ryan! What the actual LetsGoBrandon was rough about it?!
The NFL has been so bad with roughing the passer calls since all the new QB rules came into play. I really think they should lean off a bit. Before, when QB’s scrambled, they’d maybe pick up a yard, maybe 2. Being a scrambler in the NFL was actually hard at one point. Then these new rules came into play. Most defensive players are too scared to hit QB’s now. They gain 5-10 yards per play, and if they decide to slide as a LB is coming to make a tackle, and can’t stop, they pick up an extra 15 yards. I just miss when they let the guys play football lol. I understand the rule change, and there are times where I’m glad the rules in place, but just be more lenient is all I’m saying. It seems like if you accidentally point at a QB they’ll go down and you’ll get a call haha. Also, I know there are more younger QB’s now and it’s turning into a scramblers league, but those easy penalties are partially why I’m sure.
Plus, Matt Ryan was already down prior to throwing the pass. These calls are getting atrocious with each season passing. I understand players' safety is a must, but this is taking it too far.
Could be hour and a half of just 1 packer game , the rear forearm choke while pushing on the back almost every pac offensive play since rodgers 3rd year (see kahlil mack butt-sack on rodgers , the butt was the only thing not being held on that play)

At this rate, deciding which referees get to call this year's SuperBowl is going to be like winning last season's NFC title. It won't be a matter of who's best, it'll be who's the least awful.
The need for a common sense replay official when something is obviously egregious is great. The hard part is we wouldn't be able to agree most of the time on what is egregious. I suggest the NFL create a 3 man set for every game. Retired players with no ties to either team in the game. Regardless of the rule, if all 3 press their bullshit button before the next snap, a replay is automatically engaged regardless of the situation. No restrictions to what can be reviewed. Terribly missed facemask, phantom holding, offsides...anything. if all 3 flag the flag or the unflagged, make it right.
Just do what the XFL did. Sky judge with all angles, from all cameras, and hot miced up with the other refs. Fast, efficient, can review anything in an instant.
This, but they have to call it the "bullshit button" live on-air on every channel, every single time they reference it. Coaches, announcers, officials, everyone. Referring to it as anything other than the "bullshit button" is in and of itself a fine.

I mean if we gonna say TJ Watt "tripped" Rodgers, let's talk about how he was getting headlocked all game and ESPECIALLY on that specific play he would've gotten a clean and clear sack if he wasn't getting headlocked.💯
The only way to get things changed is to stop watching every game except for your team! Don't play fantasy football or place bets on game's! Also don't buy anything that has the nfl logo on it! Hurt them in the pocket book is the only way to force them to act and stop this situation from continuing!
I remember when officials were part of the game cause they loved the sport now it a job where they seem to just want attention by calling BS on plays its in all sports now.
Honestly, I think the NFL should look into hiring, and training some fans, let them ref games where they’ll have an unbiased opinion. See how it goes. Even if it goes worse than now, and they are biased, I doubt anyone will notice a difference.
The problem with calling those tripping penalties is the rules require intent, and although it is pretty obvious when you slow it down whether they put their leg out on purpose, in real time when a blocker is pushing you the direction you stick your leg how is a ref supposed to tell if you were trying to trip or if you were trying to plant to stay upright
Panthers got robbed on that fumble play. Would have gotten the ball back and Cowboys wouldnt have scored that next touchdown. Changed the course of the game. But either way it was an awesome game.
Notice how the bad calls tend to hurt/help the same teams again and again. You can pick out which teams are preferred by the League by observing Referee bias.
Hussey and Vinovich are 2 Refs who consistently make bad calls . Torbert made 2 bad calls during the Rams/Seahawks game including the double punt . Refs 35,52, and 62 influence the outcome of games .
Unless you know the rulebook. The forward progress rule is there for 1) the safety of players so that one ball doesn't turn into a rugby scrum and 2) so you can't just keep a guy up for 5 minutes in the same spot and fatigue the guy out until he loses the ball. (This call was obviously a fumble, but your logic behind it is straight up awful, because the way it's worded you're denying forward progress is a rule.)
@@BDA_Empire69 There were so many bs ref moments from the 49ers game and Steelers game, yet they still win. The Packers should get the extra wins from both games at that point.
the calls can be sooo bad and impacting to the game that it can make you question the validity of the won/loss record. It makes the games where I don't care who wins more enjoyable to watch.
The call with Cowboys and Panthers at 4:02 was a correct call. The receiver was in a defenseless posture. The defender did leave both feet prior to contact and there was helmet to helmet contact with the receiver's helmet. Stop at 4:32 and use the period key to move forward or watch at 4:17 and see how much the receiver's face-mask bent in on the hit.
10:28 what an incredible play wiped out by idiotic officials. This is why I believe challenges should be allowed inside 2 minutes, cause they clearly didn’t give a fuck about reviewing it themselves. If you do the math, the score would be 24-24 at the end of the game if that play stood as it should have (if everything else plays out the same) the game should’ve gone to OT. Unacceptable!

@@Ryan-dj3db every star stud on every teams def is held all the time. TJ ain't no different chief. Believe me, even as a packer fan I was pissed cuz I have TJ Watt on a fantasy team where we draft 2 DL, LB and DBs so I was going he'd have a field day
@@Ryan-dj3db AD died?
Y'all ready for some refball this weekend!?
I still don't understand how that Chinn hit against Dallas wasn't a fumble...
That non call for interference with Kelce was insane.
The fact that this issue is getting worse and worse and worse
I mean if we gonna say TJ Watt "tripped" Rodgers, let's talk about how he was getting headlocked all game and ESPECIALLY on that specific play he would've gotten a clean and clear sack if he wasn't getting headlocked.💯
The Packers got called for a PI by the endzone when the Packers DE was also in a headlock. The officiating was bad both ways.
The only way to get things changed is to stop watching every game except for your team! Don't play fantasy football or place bets on game's! Also don't buy anything that has the nfl logo on it!
Hurt them in the pocket book is the only way to force them to act and stop this situation from continuing!
The umpires blow the whistle so early
What I will NEVER understand about the NFL, why isnt EVERY play reviewable??? If its a bad call, it should be reviewed and over turnable!
Because you'll get a 14 hour game where everything is reviewed.
"Unnecessary tackling, 10 yard penalty."
Refs should be fined for every wrong call
Redundant statement. The officiating is REALLY bad this year.
Cant wait for week 5 there were 6-7 bad calls alone in the Bills Chiefs game
Yes like that bullcrap roughing the passer on Frank Clark..........
This is one week in the NFL...I think refs need to be held more accountable.
What is wrong with tripping?
It doesn’t matter who you root for, or against in a game, it SUCKS when you see officials shift momentum due to complete bs calls.
Feels like it’s getting worse every week
You ain't kidding
It's a fact, not a feeling.
It definitely is
The watt sack, he was getting held either ways
The Zebras need to go back to school, they are horrible
That first tripping penalty, the first replay didn't look very intentional. The second replay was pretty damning, though.
Man that's a shitload of bad calls and we're not even half way through the season.
Panthers got robbed on that fumble play. Would have gotten the ball back and Cowboys wouldnt have scored that next touchdown. Changed the course of the game. But either way it was an awesome game.
this was hard to watch, so messed up, this year so far has had so many bad calls
This is why I stopped really watching 2 years ago but now that I started again I can see they only made it worse.
“Forward progress was stopped” a fumble is a fumble . Before a knee touches the ground and the ball pops out. ITS A FUMBLE !!!
2021 Season
Packers: 2
Refs: 0
the tripping call against them then not calling it the next week
@@BDA_Empire69 There were so many bs ref moments from the 49ers game and Steelers game, yet they still win. The Packers should get the extra wins from both games at that point.
Honestly tho
Last year they beat us in the championship game
Tripping is the dumbest penalty in the NFL. You can tackle a guy, but tripping isn't allowed...
Wait...Wait...Tripping? What about the mugging the Packer offensive lineman does on the defensive player...Holding? Anyone?
Don’t forget #77 for the packers always jumping before the ball is hiked.
I feel like the Packers are always in the midst of these but usually always in their favor
Maybe this is what Benny Cunningham meant by saying the NFL is scripted. There's a bad call or no call every game.
the calls can be sooo bad and impacting to the game that it can make you question the validity of the won/loss record. It makes the games where I don't care who wins more enjoyable to watch.
as a raiders fan
in no way was that a facemask
As a football fan, I love watching the raiders. Hope they do good this year.
@@budleewiser me too man LOL
you can see the Ref's looking right at fouls and calling it wrong
3:20 refs not even looking at any o line men and throws a flag. This sport seriously sucks
That last one is just… I don’t know what I just watched.
Officiating has been absolutely terrible this season ... college and NFL
Just get rid of the o-line and d-line, dudes aren’t allowed to do their jobs anymore,
can't wait for other week's videos, there will be a lot this year
10:28 what an incredible play wiped out by idiotic officials.
Steelers got ROBBED. I will be pissed about that for years!
Whenever I hear “TauNtIng” I want to throw a rock through my TV
Taunting should be allowed Excessive Taunting should be penalized
@@VtinkySagina Excessive means to do more than is necessary. When is taunting ever needed? Right... NEVER! You're thinking excessive celebration.
Let coaches challenge penalties. Why is this a thing?
Some of those need to be reviewable.
Can someone explain what went on at the play at 11:08? I feel like I missed something
