I really like the idea of having backups. My niece is usually using some of her backups after Christmas break. Her mom also customizes her binders. It keeps her more engaged with her school work because she gets to see all her favorite Disney princesses.

No I home school my kids and it's true.I'm not for sure what it is about this year, but we're barely surviving.School came too fast from break.It was not long at all.I remember it being longer for some reason when I was going to school.
I don't have kids in school, but it is a great time to stock up on office supplies that I use. Just ordered from Walmart last week myself! I also got a couple of extra storage shelves for half price! I love the design of the back to school savings challenge! What a great way to plan ahead! Congratulations on the final move! Hope it is everything you guys wanted in a house!
Hey Jordan, I have always loved your chaotic videos. It just is amazing and shows how original you really are! Remember to check with the standards in Iowa for their homeschool essentials on how many hours in a calendar year you need to have for each child because it’ll differ from Mississippi! I now have two additional highschoolers lol Philip just started the James Madison program on online. It’s $1800. It covers all four years of his high school. He turns in his work they graded he actually will get a Diploma! Jessica will actually start ninth grade in March. She’s gonna finish up some things and eighth grade and I need to work with her a lot in her math area. Other than that she’ll be ready to go! My last child at home. Dawnya is a sophomore this year. She starts school in August 19! Jessica will be doing the James Madison High School program like Philip is! Grandbaby was born on August 9 came in about 4 1/2 weeks early but he’s doing amazing! This is my second grandson and his name is Elio River which I absolutely love because second name or middle name. I should say I actually suggested it lol he’s in the NICU for the next week or so due to learning how to feed and keeping his oxygen saturation level up. My second granddaughter is due on December 18 with my other older daughter lol overall I’ll have two grandsons and two granddaughters lol you’re doing great Jordan. 5:57
Ohhh my goodness congratulations on the new grandson and the granddaughter on the way. I'm so happy for you!!! I hope mama and baby are both handling NICU life as well as they can, thats tough but I hope they are all home and enjoying this season of life together soon. ❤❤❤ I'll have to look in to the James Madison program they are using that sounds like a wonderful high school option!
I hear you’re on stocking up on school supplies great thing to my kids. Online schooling is the only needed notebook and pencils and highlighters, which I already have and I’m like you I stock up years in advance! If and when they need extra paper, I’ve got enough for their entire high school years! my high schooler does go to school. She does everything on her Chromebook and all she needed was one notebook, her mechanical, pencils, and pencil lead. Other than that she didn’t need anything else she still using her same backpack from last year but then again like I said, I stocked up big time on school surprise years ago I even got a 50 pack of folders from Walmart Believe that was like two years ago and we still got a ton of folders and sock lol job keeping ahead of the game 6:26
Lol that is awesome! Every time I do a stockpile of any kind I think about you! I know you're so well prepped. I hope to get there now that we are settled. You make great points about online schooling, I'm sure as my boys get older we will shift more to online options and I won't need so much stuff. I just organized all of my stuff now that my office supplies are also moved over and I think we are pretty set for years now that I look through everything. I didn't realize I had such a binder obsession until they are all together in one bin. lol! ❤❤❤
I am sooo ready for back to school. My kids go back next Wednesday. I need to go back through my receipts and figure out what I spent this year so I can create a budget for next year to save up for 😂
Congratulations on your most recent move!! Are there any plans to have the boys go to public school now that you are out of your Mississippi school district? I thought you had mentioned that in a previous episode so you have more time to focus on your work.
A fun thing you can do for you 2 examples a month. Put the first day of the month and than do the last day of the month to show the progress. Just a fun idea.
where'd you get the bins please? I need one for my coloring books/notebooks without being expensive and can't find one in the size I originally have (moving woes, oh how I understand! lol)
Ohhhh I meant to share this! These bins are my favvvooorrrriiiittttteeee. You can find them all over the place but I got them from Walmart, they are currently on sale so I bought a bunch more, but some of them I've had for years and they are still in perfect condition. They are the Sterilite Clear Gasket Box with Blue Latches & Gasket - if you search that on walmart / online they should pop up. The small ones are 20 Quart, for sure. The larger ones .. I think ... are the 32 Quart. Double check that on the bigger size but I'm like 95% confident lol. That bigger size I have is great because you can hang file folders in them. ❤
