Hi jodi your right about being prepared . I started couponing before the pandemic but when it hit.my family and extended family didnt have to worry about toilet paper and cleaning supplies.
I love you channel and your shopping trips. I’m 5 weeks in and I have over 60 detergents, 35 shampoos and much more. I am going to get some shelves this weekend and organize my stuff. I have 5 kids and we always need these things. It’s good to go shopping for these items in my garage. Keep the videos coming. You are helping so many.

You seem like the sweetest mom. If I were your daughters' friend I would also be super excited to visit your "store." I'm sure they all love you for that! Small tip: I find that reusable bags help me a lot with organization - it forces me to empty and put new things away ASAP since I know I'll need the bag again. Plus then you don't end up with too many plastic bags!
Do you think that putting other kind of items that may be heavier would help un warp faster? All the little items from the stockpile would fall outwards until it evens out, I think, I haven’t tried yet, I don’t want to remove everything and put everything back and have everything falling outwards. It’s so much work to organize the stockpile 😅
I have a tall “muscle” shelf. It was supposed to hold 800 lbs. Nope, not with the boards they included. I think it was particle boards. They warped. I would get everything neat & a lot of things would fall over. It was so aggravating. My husband replaced those boards with plywood & talk about make me happy, that sure did the job. Never had to worry about that again! ☺️☺️

I never want them to pay for razors, contact solution, tp, paper towels, cleaning supplies, or personal care. Lol! I had to chuckle at the KY, and the boxers. My sons went out of their minds when they saw it. I explained that it was free and a money maker. The boxers I picked up for my best friend's husband. Free boxers from SB as I recall. Like you, I donate a ton of the stuff, and 100% of the Colgate. Great job on your organization! Really enjoyed this vid!

Another couponer I watch makes gift baskets for family but she always complains when people she knows ask for items. I picked up this awesome IKEA storage boxes at a yard sale so it is a start.

I just started junk journaling. My craft room was not set up for it. For the past 6 months I have been slowly ordering containers and sorting papers and labeling everything. It's really working out well. I'm not working very fast because of my health, but I can see so much progress. It brings me so so much joy and fun! I love all that you have accomplished. I love these videos. I agree with what you said about passions. I enjoy stocking up for my family, im 23 years old disabled still living with my parents, can't afford to live on my own right now in these crazy times plus im limited on how much I can work. I do my part for the household, I buy all the household supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, cleaners, dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo and other things like that, my mom dose the food part, she grows at lest 70% of the produce herself, cans and freezes it and buys whatever we dont produce ourselves. I dont coupon but I look for the best deals I can, I would love to coupon but im limited on transportation and time for it so I buy what I can on sale, on clearance and cheap in bulk online and in stores I can get to. thanks for the inspiring video. what you said about the passion is so true! I am actually passionate about appliances, especially vacuum cleaners. I like good old ones like the old Kirbys, Eurekas, Orecks and others that last a very long time and can be repaired, I collect them and have a small stockpile of parts and supplies for them and I have repaired vacuum cleaners for other people over the years. I have a KIRBY vacuum cleaner that is almost 25 years. old and its still running like new 😯 we all have our things that bring us joy 😄

My Mother was an avid couponer. She always took joy in finding the deals and then being able to donate, sharing the joy. It saved money and helped others. The best of both worlds!

I think you done an amazing 🤩 job. I think you might have got me motivated. I think I can get it done now. I guess no matter how long it takes it will be worth it. Just due to life events, illnesses, sickness and death I lost motivation but I been working on it like you. We can do anything we put our mind and time too!
Awesome job Jodi! I would probably sit down there and admire that stock pile too if it was mine 🤣. And what a blessing that stockpile is for not just you but your family and your community! That's awesome. I used to coupon and price match a lot but where I live in Canada it has become more difficult to get coupon deals. I still ad match at the stores that allow it and use coupons when I can,which is better than nothing I guess. Saving only $20 a week is still min $1040 spanned over a year.
Ohmy, I have these shelves with pressure canned foods on them. Didn’t occur to me the shelves would “buckle”. Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention!
This looks so nice. I know that feeling of all the bags everywhere--definitely anxiety-inducing. I have been working on organizing my photos. I love to scrapbook, so I have a lot of photos, but since I have been homeschooling, I haven't had much time for that. My oldest daughter just graduated from high school, so I have been working on a school book for her and then trying to finish up a portrait album I started about 10 years ago. Lots of work, but getting everything organized will make it easier to do books for the other two girls.
Oh my gosh Jodi, my daughters call my small stockpile “Mommy Mart”. You’re right, if it brings you joy, go for it. My Mom lives on a fixed income so when I give her items, it helps her quite a bit. Love your real talk!

I love this! I filled my stock pile up when I first started school and I have been only couponing when my extra bucks are going to expire. I am so busy with planning our wedding, finishing school and more we are due to have a baby in January! But I am so excited to get back to it when school it over to help pay for the wedding and baby! We are working on a master bathroom renovation. It's exhausting! I too coupon but not to your capacity and for what I do it takes a bit of planning, I know you have yours down to a science. I'm all for anyone having a hobby/passion, what I don't agree with is when that hobby/passion starts interfering with your regular life. If you're missing events or it disrupts your routine then it's not a hobby it's an obsession.
One of the things I like about couponing Walgreens vs CVS is that Walgreens cash doesn't expire. With CVS, you have to keep rolling rolling rolling! I don't have a lot of room to store things, so I can't get too much. I have a ton of toothpaste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. My Goal of all goals, is to get laundry, cleaning supplies and paper towels covered - still working on how to figure it out. You have been a huge help in teaching me how to coupon - thank you! Your store is Fabulous!
Yes I love that about Walgreens couponing as well. But hate that RRs expire in 2 weeks 😂 Each store has it’s thing. Keep at it. You’ll build up cleaning supplies for sure ❤️

Good for you that you are not going to get rid of the cabinets (corner cabinets we call them here) that your grandmother made for you. Every decloter has it limit and I applaud you. Maybe in the future you can do something like a make over with them and find a place in your house to display them properly. So you can enjoy them daily.
Hey Jodi! I’m not sure if you guys are big pop/soda drinkers, but I’ve noticed Dollar General has decent deals on 12 packs here and there. Additionally some decent deals on V8, Motts, and other juices. Partnering this with the $5 off $25 and maybe an occasional $4 razor with a $3 coupon can help save a little in that food/drink category. Love all your videos 💕

In California we usually don't have basements nor attics Grew up in a 4 bedroom 2 bath house that was tiny compared to homes that are built today 6 kids. We did add on a family room, pantry and patio.

I like you give yourself grace. Question you ask projects. I made myself an office. My neighbor had put this RED craft cart on the curb. It is my dumbing ground cart. Since my office had the shelves of dumping ground. I made the rule no more. Something needs to be filed in the red cart til I file. Too much stuff in cart. I move into my way. I hate colour red. So I get after it to move cart away. It is so working. Thanks for the videos. Plus talking through the whole video helps me relax. Thanks
I have these shelves in my stockpile room. When the wood started to bow I popped the wood out and then flip them over and the weight bowed them straight.
Ahhh great idea Melissa. I actually tried to take one of the particle boards out and because I have my peg boards tied on the sides I couldn’t get it out 🤦♀️ hubby even tried.
I total understand you because I had two babies that were 26 months apart and my husband and I used a lot of our money for diapers and formula. My 26 year old daughter told me that my stockpile looks like I’m a “hoarder.” LOL when she needs her stuff and doesn’t pay a penny she comes to the “hoarder!” Thanks for sharing the way you have organized your stockpile! Tip: for the warped boards, turn them over so they will “un warp”. You’ll get more wear out of them.

I just started junk journaling. My craft room was not set up for it. For the past 6 months I have been slowly ordering containers and sorting papers and labeling everything. It's really working out well. I'm not working very fast because of my health, but I can see so much progress. It brings me so so much joy and fun! I love all that you have accomplished. I love these videos. I agree with what you said about passions. I enjoy stocking up for my family, im 23 years old disabled still living with my parents, can't afford to live on my own right now in these crazy times plus im limited on how much I can work. I do my part for the household, I buy all the household supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, cleaners, dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo and other things like that, my mom dose the food part, she grows at lest 70% of the produce herself, cans and freezes it and buys whatever we dont produce ourselves. I dont coupon but I look for the best deals I can, I would love to coupon but im limited on transportation and time for it so I buy what I can on sale, on clearance and cheap in bulk online and in stores I can get to. thanks for the inspiring video.
what you said about the passion is so true! I am actually passionate about appliances, especially vacuum cleaners. I like good old ones like the old Kirbys, Eurekas, Orecks and others that last a very long time and can be repaired, I collect them and have a small stockpile of parts and supplies for them and I have repaired vacuum cleaners for other people over the years. I have a KIRBY vacuum cleaner that is almost 25 years. old and its still running like new 😯 we all have our things that bring us joy 😄

Awesome job Jodi! I would probably sit down there and admire that stock pile too if it was mine 🤣. And what a blessing that stockpile is for not just you but your family and your community! That's awesome. I used to coupon and price match a lot but where I live in Canada it has become more difficult to get coupon deals. I still ad match at the stores that allow it and use coupons when I can,which is better than nothing I guess. Saving only $20 a week is still min $1040 spanned over a year.

This looks so nice. I know that feeling of all the bags everywhere--definitely anxiety-inducing. I have been working on organizing my photos. I love to scrapbook, so I have a lot of photos, but since I have been homeschooling, I haven't had much time for that. My oldest daughter just graduated from high school, so I have been working on a school book for her and then trying to finish up a portrait album I started about 10 years ago. Lots of work, but getting everything organized will make it easier to do books for the other two girls.
Oh my gosh Jodi, my daughters call my small stockpile “Mommy Mart”. You’re right, if it brings you joy, go for it. My Mom lives on a fixed income so when I give her items, it helps her quite a bit. Love your real talk!

I just keep the closest to expiration date in front so those get used first. And honestly between donating, using, giving to family and selling nothing sits for long to even come close to expiring 🥰

I love this! I filled my stock pile up when I first started school and I have been only couponing when my extra bucks are going to expire. I am so busy with planning our wedding, finishing school and more we are due to have a baby in January! But I am so excited to get back to it when school it over to help pay for the wedding and baby! We are working on a master bathroom renovation. It's exhausting! I too coupon but not to your capacity and for what I do it takes a bit of planning, I know you have yours down to a science. I'm all for anyone having a hobby/passion, what I don't agree with is when that hobby/passion starts interfering with your regular life. If you're missing events or it disrupts your routine then it's not a hobby it's an obsession.
One of the things I like about couponing Walgreens vs CVS is that Walgreens cash doesn't expire. With CVS, you have to keep rolling rolling rolling! I don't have a lot of room to store things, so I can't get too much. I have a ton of toothpaste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. My Goal of all goals, is to get laundry, cleaning supplies and paper towels covered - still working on how to figure it out. You have been a huge help in teaching me how to coupon - thank you! Your store is Fabulous!

Hi Jodi, I loved this video. There's something so satisfying about being able to group like with like and everything having a place. I don't wonder at you coming down to sit and admire it...it is probably good too for your mental health..all that organised beauty. I really wanted to help and I totally get your couponing passion. I would do it too if we had the opportunity in Northern Ireland. I have a thing for having plenty of toilet roll and had it well before covid, my friends would tease me for checking out the prices on store offer leaflets but when covid hit, they recognised my thing was not that weird and we now teasingly share any good offers we find.😀😘

I literally have to stop couponing as much as I did because my apartment won’t fit me that much in it but the stockpile I do have is still pretty dang good! Good for you that you are not going to get rid of the cabinets (corner cabinets we call them here) that your grandmother made for you. Every decloter has it limit and I applaud you. Maybe in the future you can do something like a make over with them and find a place in your house to display them properly. So you can enjoy them daily.

Hey Jodi! I’m not sure if you guys are big pop/soda drinkers, but I’ve noticed Dollar General has decent deals on 12 packs here and there. Additionally some decent deals on V8, Motts, and other juices. Partnering this with the $5 off $25 and maybe an occasional $4 razor with a $3 coupon can help save a little in that food/drink category.

My neighbor had put this RED craft cart on the curb. It is my dumbing ground cart. Since my office had the shelves of dumping ground. I made the rule no more. Something needs to be filed in the red cart til I file. Too much stuff in cart. I move into my way. I hate colour red.
So I get after it to move cart away.

I actually tried to take one of the particle boards out and because I have my peg boards tied on the sides I couldn’t get it out 🤦♀️ hubby even tried.
I total understand you because I had two babies that were 26 months apart and my husband and I used a lot of our money for diapers and formula. My 26 year old daughter told me that my stockpile looks like I’m a “hoarder.” LOL when she needs her stuff and doesn’t pay a penny she comes to the “hoarder!” Thanks for sharing the way you have organized your stockpile!
