    The food does look excellent - I’ve found the quality of food to be great on my previous Cunard cruises, so glad to see it seems to be consistent!
    Not convinced by those toasties that’re chargeable - they seem expensive for what they are…!
    Great video, guys!

    Hi again! (Watched your Seaview vloggs!)
    I have been on the Queen Mary 2 (2006 for my honeymoon to NYC) and we we're in bed by 10pm, because there was nobody up! So Queen Anne looks better for nightlife.
    We have also done Queen Elizabeth (2011 Netherlands)
    I think I might return to Cunard now they've updated!
    I'm considering booking Queen Anne for my 50th in 2026🎉❤ !
    This was a Lovely video, thankyou. ❤

    Great advice in the lunch vs dinner menu and we did have a chuckle about the poppadoms. They’re always in short supply and that’s the thing we love the most 😅

    Another great video..very useful info on pricing and menus as well as your views on the food in the various restaurants. Seems like the uniform feedback from most reviewers is that they were less than impressed with Aranya. But Tramonto looks like the best value option amongst the alternative dining outlets and the menu/food looks really interesting. Tx again!

    • @cruisingwiththe4bs
      @cruisingwiththe4bs  4 месяца назад

      Yes it’s interesting much of the feedback does seem very similar, I’d be interested to see how long it takes for Aranya to have a menu change. Thank you for watching 😊

    So, what did you think of the time between courses. We dine early around 1830 so did not effect us in the anytime dining but heard horror stories. The Cunard breakfast was okay but I was missing the black pudding and when I mentioned it they went away and came back with a single piece of pudding on a dinner plate. Yes, portion control is alive and well on QA. Nothing wrong with the quality of food in the Artisan Food hall. Artisan suggests ambition and imagination, sadly lacking in my experience. Again portion control was in place. I asked if there were going to be steaks available. They struggled with that one but they did appear on the second formal night. Wellness Cafe was okay enjoyed the porridge. The Grill is in the wrong place as a the cue tended to go across deack. Cunard need to look how Princess do this. Burgers were okay but small compared to other lines. Corinthian Lounge. Spend a fair bit of our time their and yes it was all good. Excellent service etc. Golden Lion. Again okay. I had the Ploughman's and the ball & chain had the Fish & Chips which looked nice. The Ploughman's okay. Room service breakfast was good. Came 20 minutes early which I suppose is better than 20 minutes late but was indicative of how the service ran across the ship. Sir Samuels requires $22 from you for Wagyu beef in the evening, I know because we had. It was okay but the Rib Eye had more flavour. It is expensive for what it is and Cunard have put the price up considerably.

      Have to say the only time we waited a long time for food was day one in the golden lion, as we mainly did speciality restaurants we can’t really comment on the wait times in the MdR but yes we heard plenty of horror stories, one evening I believe the first we walked past and people were just coming out at 11.30 from the second sitting which seemed ridiculous!! We ate in sir samuals at lunch and the upcharge was $8 for the wagu as we said seems a lot better value to eat in there at lunch time when the menu is pretty much the same. We did find the food to be of a very good standard and yes definitely portion control in place. Thank you watching and your detailed comment 🙂

    We were on Queen Anne earlier this month, clearly we didn't explore a fraction of the eateries on board, not enough time!
    It was the first time we had a non self service buffet on a Cunard ship though and we weren't that thrilled about it. It's hard when you're picky and you're having to explain and point to things all the time. It takes the fun out of it. No complaints about the food itself though.
