SEVEN courses! Hopefully you had a mouthful of each. We'd normally have a main and a dessert. More concerning, your Crêpes Suzette was being made with cointreau in the video. Didn't they have Grand Marnier? On QM2 in June 2022 they didn't have enough to serve in any bars/lounges, and ran out for the Crêpes Suzette after a few nights. We'll need to take our own next time if they're still struggling to get stock.
lol maybe it was a supply issue, but the Cointreau tasted excellent anyway! I really wanted to enjoy my meal in the Queens Grill - every mouthful - so I DID plough my way through most of the 7 courses. I didn't eat absolutely everything though, you're right. And the cheese course was shared with my daughter...I could NOT do that every night. But I also eat very little during the day so that I can indulge at dinner...

Ah Bjorn, I fear you can't compete from Oslo with our shockingly awful 'summer' in the UK. I bet you've had more sun than us, even in Oslo! Re which meal I enjoyed the most - I think I liked them both differently but equally! I think having the meals cooked at the table does make a real difference though and makes the dinner feel extra special. Perhaps THAT'S the vibe you were getting. Yes! rack of lamb in PG... that could be next Monday's dinner sorted... PG seems to be missing Beef Wellington and Lobster Thermidor (from memory of QM2 QG)?
yes, the menu seems to be different on Queen Anne than on QM2, which is no bad thing!! I LOVED my duck!! I'm sure the rack of lamb is yummy too though...that's what I had on QM2...
@@gowithjo1 WE got given a window table...in the fjords... Apparently. according to various discussion boards, how early you book is a big factor. we booked on day QA cruises were released
