since all the trees have name starting with tree###, they are aligned one after other in the scene collection. just select top tree, then hold shift and select last tree. this will select all tree in between.

I get a completely black screen when using a sun light after applying volume scatter to the world, but using other types of light works just fine. This is a really common issue after I looked it up and I couldn't find how to solve it. How did you make your sun light work, or did you replace it?
Not much of a problem in cycles if you know how to do it. Yes, this is eevee, and that´s why the sunlight works, in cycles, and in cyclex x, it is in fact possible, even though some says it isn´t. and it´s the same in cycles x still, once using sunlight, it all turns black, but I have found a way to solve that, Easy, once that is discovered, the sunlight works nicely, and also if you add the nishita system, so you can get global scattering in the world settings, and create godrays, sunbeams etc in cycles and cyclesX, without the need of using point, or area lights or adding cubes with volumetric material, and it works very nicely with the mixing of the nishita model and it´s ozone settings to scatter the light very nicely. Not gonna reveal it here right now, will try and record some of it...Soon.

Well, you really showed how you made the forest, but why are you moving so fast mate? It's really hard to keep up with you and really see and understand what you're doing.
I may cover that soon, including actually using the nishita skymodel And Global world scatter (yes it is doable though many says it doesn´t work) instead of..or with cube localized volumetric ground fog, they can work together or by themself, there are a couple of things to think about to boost up those sunrays between tree´s etc.

Later in the video he connected it to a mix shader node.

i have problem with last point
when i connect volume scatter to "add shader" its deleting light from scene
First add shader.
Then again add light from the scene
It will work.
set the density of the "principled volume" shader to .02 and adjust from there
also only works with point light any other light will black out
Nice tutorial, I see now how much work is put into these things and how much you must know the application. Thanks.
Fantastic work, short and clear. Thanks a bunch!
This wonderful scene is only five minutes long, thank you😭😭😭💜

guys if the viewport is just filled with black or blue, try going into the world texture step and edit the density slider on the principled volume

how did that auto scale up was working on the base mesh after mixing the soil and grass in mix shader ?

There was no auto scalling. The scalling was adjusted by mapping node. The scalling part was cropped in the video.

Would it not be better to rather than duplicate the trees individually, to implement them as a particle system as well as the saplings?
that's a valid point, but the variations in shape would not be possible
In the cinematic night forest, I expected Radio chatter, then Captain price saying: Bravo six going dark
hello, this is awesome ,, wait i m having issue with world nodes nothing changing after adding volume scatter node sky remain the same ?
when i render whole forest is pink colored.! please suggest a solution i am new to 3d
I think the blender won't be able to detect the texture files
