Hello Englishman i,m watching your videos from Delaware USA ,left Malta 1950 will be thereSept , to Oct 2018 ,,enjoy every one of your videos ,,, maybe we can meet ,,,,,Sahha.
A great video of the Valletta waterfront it looks love;y. I have never explored that area I will have to next time i stay in Valletta.I really enjoyed watching the cruise ship leaving Valletta what a beautiful Grand Harbor.I saw the lovely Castille Squire and the Casitlle Hotel in this video. The Castille Hotel is lovely and i will stay there again next time.
Yes i have heard this about that hotel ...the grand harbour is really awesome its such a shame at the moment the waterfront is so quiet....normally the evening is the best even better if theres a cruse ship in !
Thanks for the video Steve. I used to sit in the Barraka gardens and you would be lucky to see 2 or 3 people, very peaceful in those days. AlecEnglishman in Malta 1950s.
The great a big ship...wow!. Happy to watch your video talking. Feel get to know about stories around in Malta more. Feel love beautiful Nature there. And feel love people there. Just know that why you loved live in Malta. You you for your videos. You are look good very much Steve. Hope will have your video talking more. Thank you so much!
Nice video Steve 👍🏻 The architecture looks impressive..Definitely a place that I would like to explore someday. The weather there looked pretty comfortable too.
The three things we have got plenty of here....history, architecture, good weather !!! ..It has been inhabited since settlers from Sicily arrived around 5200 BC. from the prehistoric temples to the grand Baroque churches, walled cities from the nights of st john period, it has got everything....weather not bad too. well better then UK that's a fact
Love this part of Valletta, we enjoy walking on the seafront and taking the lift up to the main part of Valletta. We were supposed to be staying in Valletta in 2020... we had booked into the Harbour Hotel, but Covid put paid to that! Loved how you filmed the cruise ship leaving, always fancied a Mediterranean cruise... but not sure anymore 🤔 I might not want to get back on if it stopped at Malta 😂 Thumbs up from me Steve 👍
Englishman in Malta - there is another way to get to the centre of Valletta. Further up from the entrance to the Barrakka Lifts, you will arrive near Victoria Gate (one of the entrances to Valletta). Victoria Gate is about 300 metres away from the entrance to the Barrakka Lifts. As soon as you enter Victoria Gate to the left you will find a flight of stairs. Go up those stairs and you are right in the centre of Valletta close to the Con-Catedral of St John.
Oh many video of that area Vince ...There is also the ramp up via Floriana, the stairs up near the waterfront to the gardens up the hill near Boffa Hospital go straight though Herbert Ganado Gardens into the tunnels or just out near the bus terminal , just that video was talking about the lift ...
I am so afraid of lifts.but, that one was not bad at all..looks safe...but cheaper and saving is good in the Mediterranean...put money towards gits. Beautiful view..what time of year is this? Weather is amazing.
If I am not mistaken Lower Barrakka gardens is the one in the distance near the bell, if you continue past the lift you can get to Valletta from there, quite a long walk though but very picturesque.
that where the cannons are is not the lower barraca gardens, the lower barraca gardens are at the other side of Valletta. where the big bell monument is. :) we enjoyed your video, but take them more slowly. Regards from California
