I appreciate the tip on releasing the safety quietly, I'm a new crossbow user and just figured there wasn't any way to release the safety quietly. I'll have to practice that.
Even after practicing the most seasoned hunter can make a simple mistake. I have done it accidentally and spooked an animal. Laughing now but at the time it was a bummer. Live and learn. 🤣👍
Wow, that tip about quietly releasing the safety is so obvious, yet I truly didn't think of that. I'm getting my first crossbow for Christmas, and I've chosen the CenterPoint Gladiator 405, which has a whole bunch of sound reduction devices, so the tip about the safety release was super useful! Great video!
I just got a killer insticts furiou z355 the thing is wicked and I always found crossbows too short and stubby or too long for my reach this furious has the adjustable ar stock and for end grip so I got it tailored to me perfect hold. I'm definitely getting a bowjax kit I have seen and heard alot of good from this company.
i wonder what effect it would have if a crossbow was dipped in that rubber flex seal thats on tv. the limbe dont flex all that much to crack the rubber. it would be covered in rubber and you want have the hollow metal frame or the limbs resonating sound and vibration like without a rubber coating. just wondering how flex seal would work ???
A crossbow company I won't name here tried that a few years ago. The problem is when the limbs break you can't see the break because it is covered up. This usually leads to catastrophic violent limb failures. It wasn't a good situation. Seems like a good idea in theory but didn't last long!
Ok so I purchased the Scorpyd ventilator 175# for the wife last year. Paid a ton for it. It was fast and very accurate but she couldn’t pull it. After 6 months and about 25 shots later the limb started to split. Jim Kempf quickly settled the issue overnighting a new set of limbs. Great customer service btw best I’ve ever seen with anyone honestly. Anyway we opted to bring it down to the 135 pound limbs which she can now easily pull and enjoy and still extremely accurate and fast shooting about 375 FPS. My question is do you have the air brake kit for this crossbow? If not what do you have. It has the bow Jax kit along with the stringed string stops but still extremely loud. She shoots black eagle with 100grain broad heads. Can’t remember off the top of my head the weight of arrows. I do notice the foot guard isn’t rubberized which is odd for such a high end set up. Thanks for any suggestions
It would royally fuck up your power delivery, one side would be shorter than the other due to differing cam positioning, really wouldn't recommend even trying it to see how it goes, An unbalanced and cocked string is a potential bomb...
Hey im new to crossbows dont know much about them. I have a 150lb recurve, would i be able to replace the limb with a 175lb to make it more powerful? Or would i just need to buy a better one at somepoint?
I promise u that having all that stuff on a Excalibur.will slow it down 40 ftps.so all u that are speed freaks.count on not even coming close to what they advertisers speed is
Soon as the video started, I was drooling. Those two crossbows are gorgeous.

Thanks for the comment and enjoy your new crossbow.
Goattacular They have a recall on the Gladiator.
Center point is garbage , I suggest looking into pretty much any other brand
I am loving this series!! Have you guys done any videos on how to sight in crossbows and how to understand your scope?
Great tips bro thanks ! I have a jaguar 175 recurve crossbow I plan on upgrading before October . I plan to use it for Pennsylvania deer season .
jay thompson just oicked up one of those to learn on myself. great piece of kit for 70 bucks. but the aluminum arrows they give you are crap though

Where do I modify my crossbow?
Are there any String Stops or Air Brakes that will fit or can be adapted to a Barnett Ghost 350 CRT
Do string slide silencers/ dampeners that go on both sides of the string take away fps?
and what about string dampeners?

I was thinking about this when watching the video. Not the limbs but basically anything but the front assembly
Thank you.
This video should be made with you wearing a mic that damn bow is probably louder than you
Am I the only one that is annoyed by the camera man's nose whistle? Damn, I can't take it!
@Loser Cruiser same thing I was thinking lol
Happens on several videos
Yes haha
I was kinda annoying haha

Would cams out of time make a crossbow louder?

I cant find the info anywhere online so do you know if there are string stops available for the barnett raptor fx2?
@skankhunt42 Ty I will look into that
@skankhunt42 what brace height did you set it to
The bolt has hit its mark by the time the animal hears it, so why worry about sound?
Follow up shots,Reduced hearing damage and just overall being quieter

ในไทยมีขายมั้ย
Just use heavy arrow..
Shoot heavier arrows

@Mary and steve Clouser miller 😂
Prove it.
Ricky Lloyd you promised. Now show us, where’s your video? Or you’re telling us that you can visually see the difference 🤓 ok lmao
Wait. Energy equals sound? What kind of physics is that? Does that mean electric cars are tons louder than motorcycles?
Can anyone else hear th camera man breathing?
Terrible silent speaking ...
Describing the before/after difference as 'Huuuuge' is a bit strong lol
