Mountain Dog without a doubt has the best demonstration content on RUclips. He explains everything with care and confidence, it shows he truly loves what he does.
And he has full anecdotal evidence for everything he says not just a few studies. Nothing wrong with a study but you can’t beat someone that knows what they’re talking about with experience
@@Dame_Judi_Hench I agree science's great BUT practical application and experience can be just as good in my opinion. We don't live in a lab where people are watching us workout or coaching us Constantly.
I’m 49 and been training consistently for 6 years now.. I have to say, of the few channels I follow, Johns really inspires me to keep grinding. There’s life in the ‘old Dog’ yet 👍🏼
I’m 56 & I workout every chance I get!! Yes we can stay strong and build muscle at our older age!! Yes it’s harder but I’m not a quitter & will continue to lift as long as I have breath in my body!!! Keep up the good work!!👍👍
Once again on 4-21-23 I’m watching John to get ready for my back workout. I miss John and hope Mary and the boys are doing well. Love to you all❤ Sending love from NC
I started watching his videos last year and was devastated by his passing. Not just the information he gives but the ability to relay the message so that any of us can get it - a priceless gift.
What a guy. Such a gentleman and the type of coach I wish I could have. It’s such a shame that people like him are taken so early. I still watch his stuff and learn more every time. He pushes me to go harder just watching his videos.
I am on a binge of John's videos. John loves what he is doing, it clearly shows. All his videos are nothing short of impressive and amazing details. E.g. I do the first exercise but how the different ROM will enhance the shape of the human anatomy.
I did this workout yesterday. I never had this kind of feeling. My muscles were butning like hell! It was amazing. This awesome man is gone since more than 2 years and he still brings me to school. Eternally grateful. Love you John. ❤️
I appreciate the way he coached her and then explained to us his plan. Unforgettable character and times captured and what an honor to have access to his cataloging of knowledge.
I don’t even know this man but I miss him! Such a great individual based on his sharing of experience and techniques! Thank you John for helping me get back to the gym with new material and confidence in building more muscle RIP ❤
I had to create an account just to comment and tell you how much myself and many others appreciate your content. You deserve all the support you receive and more. Thanks and keep up the fine work!

Man! This video is amazing. I’ve trained for many years, and got ALOT of info and ideas from this. Thank you for all you do, and this one was damn good.
Nice exercise selection. As soon as you said ‘upper outer lats’ I knew we were going to see the Mountain Dog upper ROM Cable pullovers 😉💪🏻 but I also would have bet the bank on seeing banded wide grip pull ups from stretch to mid range , so you threw me a curveball with the hammer grip wide pull downs . Great stuff 😎
Brother John it's me again I squeeze handgrips for my forearms and hold him as long as I can have my doing for almost 62 you are one of my heroes if not my hero no bullshit just tell me straight thanks
I like that he shows how to do excercises. What an awesome coach. Gives good instructions. Theresa (?) will blow them away with her thick muscular body!
Good tips. The upper back is pretty trick I have good lats but needed some upper back workouts. I think the elbows positions are the key as well as that rear dealt.
John is the best coach. So much knowledge. By far the best training video's. Look at him at this age. Looks in a very good shape. And he seems like a Nice and down to earth guy.
John can you do a video series about how you crafted your physique in the same regards as a sculpture. Packing muscle on specific body parts to create your ideal asthetic physique!
