    Mountain Dog without a doubt has the best demonstration content on RUclips.
    He explains everything with care and confidence, it shows he truly loves what he does.

      And he has full anecdotal evidence for everything he says not just a few studies. Nothing wrong with a study but you can’t beat someone that knows what they’re talking about with experience

      We don't live in a lab where people are watching us workout or coaching us Constantly.

    I’m 49 and been training consistently for 6 years now.. I have to say, of the few channels I follow, Johns really inspires me to keep grinding. There’s life in the ‘old Dog’ yet 👍🏼

      I’m 56 & I workout every chance I get!! Yes we can stay strong and build muscle at our older age!! Yes it’s harder but I’m not a quitter & will continue to lift as long as I have breath in my body!!! Keep up the good work!!👍👍

    I started watching his videos last year and was devastated by his passing. Not just the information he gives but the ability to relay the message so that any of us can get it - a priceless gift.

    What a guy. Such a gentleman and the type of coach I wish I could have. It’s such a shame that people like him are taken so early. I still watch his stuff and learn more every time. He pushes me to go harder just watching his videos.

    I am on a binge of John's videos. John loves what he is doing, it clearly shows. All his videos are nothing short of impressive and amazing details. E.g. I do the first exercise but how the different ROM will enhance the shape of the human anatomy.

    I did this workout yesterday. I never had this kind of feeling. My muscles were butning like hell! It was amazing. This awesome man is gone since more than 2 years and he still brings me to school. Eternally grateful. Love you John. ❤️

    I’ve always struggled to maintain gym motivation and sustain progress, I’ve been following John for a few months and he’s like the best personal trainer I never had. The world really loss someone special- what a legend 💪🏽

    Nice exercise selection. As soon as you said ‘upper outer lats’ I knew we were going to see the Mountain Dog upper ROM Cable pullovers 😉💪🏻 but I also would have bet the bank on seeing banded wide grip pull ups from stretch to mid range , so you threw me a curveball with the hammer grip wide pull downs .

    Good tips. The upper back is pretty trick I have good lats but needed some upper back workouts. I think the elbows positions are the key as well as that rear dealt.

    here’s the workout if you want not 100% accurate but
    12 reps rope pull throughs only going about halfway superset with 6-8 reps leg up to-fighter pull downs fullllll stretch
    3 rounds
    12 reps neutral wide grip pull downs full stretch at the bottom lean back more and pull feel it in the upper back
    3 rounds
    8-10 reps strict neutral wide grip t-bar rows full stretch
    2 rounds
    15/failure high to low reverse cable crossovers 2 second pause at the bottom superset with partials, let arms cross all the way to failure
    3 rounds
