This was extremely helpful. Changed front brake discs/pads on my trafic today only to find a leaking CV boot. The large metal ring had snapped. Have just ordered a CV boot kit to fit next week. Thanks again, you've gained a subscriber 👌🏼
Had a problem with a knocking on driver's side for some time now, changed all sorts. Today I changed the Anti roll bar Bush's and using your video. Problem solved! Also driver's alot better. Thanks for the Vids 👍
Hi great video ,you make it look easy. Im needing to replace both sides on mine . When tapping of the cv joint do you need to replace the ring that holds it in place ?. Also when tapping back on you mention lining up. Is that just the grooves you can see need to line up ? Thanks again
Yes, it's a job I really want to get done. Some idiot keeps buying new vehicles for me to fix though 🙄🤣. I did my mum's mini a little while ago, but yes I need to pull my finger out and do it. Cheers Larcs 👍
Sorry, I don't know for sure? It would be a good idea to drain/renew the oil IMHO. Unless you have the special dip stick for the oil level, you have to put the correct amount in. The fill plug isn't the level hole like in a 'normal' gearbox. Cheers Larcs 👍
Really appreciate your videos on Vinnie! I find them really useful for working on my own Vivaro. Thanks!!
Thanks 👍

Hi. Thanks for the informative video. What impact wrench are you using on the hub nut? Mine won't budge
@@user-qp2lu2yj2c I've got a 3/4 drive Makita impact now, it hasn't let me down yet.
Cheers Larcs !
No problems 👍

Thanks, unless it's damaged I don't normally replace the ring. Yes, just lining up the grooves (splines)👍.
Thanks I'm going to attemt this now thanks to your video 😊
@@markroberts4526 . Good luck sorting it out 🤞.
Did this to our vivaro but the cv joint was stuck as hell on the axle. I had to cut the old joint in peaces to get it off the axle😮
@@360hackern . Oh blimey, sounds like you had a tough one. Well done for sorting it out 👏.
Thank you mr L.
It's a pleasure Fred 👌👍
Hi you mention about reversing sensors on another video do you have a installation video of that ? Thanks

Hiya
It’s the boot on the hear box side the same ? Mine leaks and wondering if I order two the same will be ok ? Thank you
I would imagine that both the outer boots are the same but I don't know for sure. Your auto parts store should set you right.
Hoping it's the same for the driver side on a 2008 2.0.
I would imagine they are very similar 🤞.
Hello mate just question about fitting drive shaft on the vivaro do you have to drain the gearbox -to-do the driver side drive shaft

Thank u ... I will drain it anyway even though it was renewed last month by myself but now the driver's side shaft gone . NeverEnding story!!!
@@tonythorrington3740 So true👌. You can always reuse/top up the oil if it's good and clean?
Lol you said you were going to tighten the main hub nut up with the wheel on then forgot
Yeah, sorry. I did do it though 👍.
