@@GZA036 - Pilots are the most important people they are payed to help, not the armchair warmers in offices. They have killed thousands by still using confusing language that should be clarified 3 decades ago.
I watched this video one time and now I randomly check metars daily and since this simple video I can read them very easily. Thank you for this. As Einstein said, if it can't be explained to a child it's not worth explaining..... or something like that lol
I was told, "if you read it it's actual compass" "if you hear it, its magnetic position?" Please clarify. I'm studying for the part 107 for drone pilot
Your compass will tell you magnetic north. Not to be confused with true north or even grid north. Your map's declination diagram (in the legend) will depict the difference between the three along with how to convert between them for your area of operation.
thanks, your vid would have been so much better if you had explained the last part, its the least common thats why it is the one that needs the most explanation, thanks anw
Plain and simple ...excellent. I am getting ready for my FAA exam and saw this. I am going to watch this again (more than once) !
METAR wind is reported in true north, not magnetic (if wind direction is printed, it's true, if spoken, magnetic - METARs are printed).
thank you so much! i'm a flight student getting my ppl next month and just learned this!❤
Great video! Simple and straight to the point.
such a great simple video!!! thank you!!
Thanks for the Metar and TAF video! Both are super helpful!
thanks buddy, but the remark section needs to be explained though u said it is not needed by pilots in flt
Exactly, if not needed what is it doing there??
@@CFITOMAHAWK it's for meteorologists, pilots aren't the only people who use these

At 3:40, someone plz give me the link for the video he mentioned in the last part
What is the dew point ?
The point to go get a Mountain Dew drink for the pilot.
When the temperature, and dew point meet, clouds form.
