Loved hearing him talk about his early childhood traveling around with his Dad/family. Fell in luv with him from his Poco days...and have been a fan since. The songs he wrote are so beautiful and heartfelt. Such a gentle, loving soul.
I agree with you.Timothy has been in the music business for about 60 years. Crazy, right? In addition to the time he's been with Poco and Eagles, he sang backup vocals with a long list of bands. You just don't hear anyone speak ill of him. 💜
Doesn't matter about his past involments with other bands or the amazing Poco, Timothy has a sublime voice and to this day sang arguably Eagles best ever song...'I can't tell you why' - it's that simple!
Just for this I'm going to use a phrase that I don't like, but Timothy B. Smith is an underrated musician. Although he has a lot of prestige among his peers -in fact he worked with many successful and prestigious artists-, he is not as popular (cool) as I think he deserves.
Tim absolutely nailed the Beach Boys song "Caroline No". Brian Wilson loves it! Beach Boys did background vocals and strings arrangement by Jimmy Webb.
never knew he sang on rikki don't lose that number , he also sang on I wont hold you back fro toto , check it out you can hear the high harmony in the chorus
For conflict issues with founder paul cotton and And Rusty Young. Tim did not found Poco in any way. He got in the band to replace someone. Also Randy was a FOUNDING member of the ORIGINAL 4 EAGLES
On the surface yes, but so was Felder before he got cut loose. Some people would say Timothy B. and Joe Walsh as more like "paid employees" of the band rather than actual members...
TrickyTrekkie47 thats exactly what they are! Henley and Frye are assholes.....look at the worried look on his face hoping this will be over soon and he can get the hell out of there.daddy is listening......

A famous man in a famous band. He seems the humblest and the truest of any of the Eagles. A MUSICAL GENIUS Thank you TBS.

Yes I do agree.
He wrote parts of that song before he joined the Eagles. 💟

He kinda reminds me of Cliff Richard as well.
LOoks like he doesn't like the setting for the interview.
He does look a little uncomfortable.
Should have given him more time to speak! TBS. We are rooting for you.
Timothy did not found POCO in any freaking was.
I am a ROCK in ROLL amateur history buff.
He replaced Randy Meisner who left for inter

This is a BAD interview.
This WA bozo needs to tone down his DJ voice too.
Whatever.
His speaking voice is kinda gay sounding.
HE LOOKS AWEFUL, NO SMILE. HE IS A LOOSER, THE LITTLE RASCALS. HE WILL STAY AT THE HOLIDAY INN.
You really must be quite unhappy.
no, just in reality, you are haapy
Ridiculous comment. TBS is extremely talented and successful.
