I appreciate how you review cars that the gen pop can generally afford, and how you can go over the stuff that the gen pop would care about. Love the info about getting possuble discounts or getting cars at MSRP. No person in their right mind wants to overpay for a mass production car
For sure my friend helping consumers save money on cars and interest is my primary mission with this channel. It's the only thing that matters right now because car reviews don't mean squat, people are just going to buy what they want and not listen so if I can at least help them save that's what's important
Yea my friend they all have their pros and cons this one has a trash infotainment, BMW rides rough, Lexus has some saggy bumper issue just gotta choose what you like most
BMW M340i with the B58 and Lexus IS500 with the V8 have incredible drivetrains and are good cars. The Type S has a drivetrain that is not even close at all. If you go with regular tires rather than the silly run flats, the BMW does not ride rough. Also the IS has a very small trunk. I would say go BMW or Lexus depending on what you can do. The Acura is just not so good despite being pretty expensive. Oh and mileage is not great with the Acura either.
I waited several months to get one last year and was happy to take it home. By the time I drove home in 40 minutes, door mirror light went out, and the drive shaft or transmission was making absurd noises. I took it to service about 3 times within three weeks to assess and fix the noises. They had the nerve to tell me that it was normal for that "smart transmission." I could not stand it and I took it back, took my loss, and bought back a BMW. It was disappointing. That is not ready for the road. It maybe looks goo, but, a waste of time and money, I my estimation.
Yup I remember you mentioned this in my previous vid welcome to new car ownership where everything is disposable junk. Imagine the pain of everyone who mindlessly buys these vehicles used without a warranty with 150k miles on it saying "it's just a honda"
@@MeynMotorGroup your way too picky…I have it on my TLX and I like it. Way better than a touchscreen. The screen stays nice and clean…maybe a rotary dial as an option would have been nice. I also like all the physical buttons…Acura did it well.
@@TheBanwait8 if you want a clean screen keep a microfiber on you, you’ll need one anyway to wipe down that nasty piano black plastic in the middle. But there’s no excuse for poorly executed technology from these trillion dollar companies that should know better. Consumers co signing the mediocrity doesn’t help either.
@@MeynMotorGroup Car companies should really partner with a true blue software company to build these infotainment systems, not build them in house. I do agree that the screen is laggy in my 23 model. Also this "tech" will all become obsolete in a few yrs. Still prefer old school buttons that are on my 07 Accord coupe :) I also hate the piano black...so glossy.
4Runner was way cheaper and will always be in perpetual equity so that’s always gonna be my practical daily. I was considering a Camaro LT1 as my second car but with the way things are going, I think it would be wiser to not spend foolishly on vanity items rn… that being said I can drive a 4Runner and Camaro for less than one Type S 😅😂
Track pads in 2024? How lame can you be? Acura and Lexus are being perverse and stubborn by refusing to replace the track pad with the dial/touchscreen, which are clearly better.
I have this car & I gotta say I miss the touchscreen which was on my previous a spec model so for me I thought they went backwards, but now I'm use to it

I saw a gold metallic one in traffic and almost thought it was a BMW, very smooth looking ride
That's a cool color
I'm a Moonbeam Beige Metallic fan, bringing out the lines on the ES300. We get a lot of compliments on it.
Looks nothing like a BMW more like what it is an Acura sporty sedan

Beautiful automobile 🤤 great review.
It’s def a looker!
Very thorough video. I’m 6’4 and debating on this the m340i which is fast and possibly the IS500. Pro’s and Con’s to each.

@@MeynMotorGroup I agree it’s tough choice, may even look at the tundra too.

It’s def a looker 👍
The infotainment system is fine...touchscreens are horribe with fingerprints and this one keeps your eyes on the road.
Literally never seen a worse infotainment in my life and I've driven every turd under the sun but this takes the cake

Everyone is slowly transitioning to touch screens, including Acura - the 2025 RDX goes full touchscreen with the new system.
Which would you pick between this and the Genesis GV70?
I'm actually getting a GV70 this week to test
Compare this to a 2020 Lexus GS350 f sport which is the better car
Pretty close honestly the main advantages of this is more speed and sharper to drive.
@@MeynMotorGroup I figured that thanks
So if you had it to do over again would you still buy your 4Runner or would you grab this?

Thanks for dropping in my friend!
Those gold wheels are hideous!!! I have my name on the list for a 2025. Tried getting a 24, but they had 0. 🤷♂️

I’m guessing you haven’t seen the 14” touchscreen in every new Toyota & Lexus. It’s been out for 2 years now
@@MeynMotorGroup I have. What's your point? The Lexus IS and Acura TLX still have the damn track pad.
