      Thank you, Mark Johnson!! I saw Kansas in Kansas with opening band Loverboy in the 80's. This vid sounds great, it's classic, it's iconic really.

      I saw Loverboy open for The Who. John Cougar also opened and got hit in the head with a bottle of Jack Daniel's. He came back out in a few minutes wearing a hard hat and sang Hurts So Good. Ah, the good ole days.

      @blairtinkle4563 Год назад

      @mechanic6682 That's a great story! I might have thought John Cougar wouldn't have been such a good sport! He can be a grumpy rocker! "I Need a Lover," just an anthem for a generation. I'm sure it's me, but I don't really hear great stuff like that these days.

    The Big Four: Kansas, Styx, Foreigner and Journey. All were producing simultaneously - and presenting on world tours - some of the greatest rock music we know. It was an amazing time to be alive.

    The drum parts to Kansas songs are informing And unforgiving (for drum enthusiasts)!!!
    I agree with Garth Brooks description in that he plays drums like musical notes covering rhythm and melody notes combined….
