The blending of historical horror and individual emotional triumph/loss is the essence of being human. Kansas, as a band, were masters of the macabre and terrestrial miracles. This song is an essance of both. Excellent work.

probably my favorite song from the Morse era and Rich and Ronnie filled in admirably for the 2 Steves!

I really love to hear this song live with the new band setup. Now give me some famous songs from MONOLITH - especially On the Other Side, Reason to be - and - A glimpse of hope
A live album with the songs rarely played from Monolith to Drastic Measures would be my chrismas gift of choice.

This is such a draining song vocally and Ronnie did such a great job in his interpretation. I got to hear this live one time in the early 2000's. Nice to see a new audience enjoying it.

They last played it live 29 years ago in 1994. That is the only time I remember them playing it live until this year.

I gather he came in later. Eric played the first part of the show and Phil ended out.

Phil had shoulder or elbow surgery earlier in the year, believe he's trying to let it completely heal before playing full time. His Drum tech has been with him for years and does a fantastic job covering. Believe his name is Eric.

I'm a Kansas fan but didn't like this much....from there post prog mid 80's soft rock period. Lost their way there for awhile. Performance wise though....great!
