Oh brother, this guy stinks!! For developers who want to get these civs right, not one of them can pronounce any of the names associated with each civs correctly. But, civilization has never been known for using the correct pronunciation or the language correctly in-game. I'm still going to buy it, but it gets me as a person who had to learn multiple languages from a young age becausemy family alway on the move. Many folks take pride in their linguistics heritage and will look at the game as a Google translate low effort offering. There are already videos of people breaking down how the languages spoken in Civ7 are wrong and have used modern language words and structure. There are a few languages that you can do this with because they are dead languages with no current references, but Ancient Egyptian are not one of them. Heck, even Aztec, Olmec, and Myan is still spoken spoken in small tribes throughout the regions of central America. Maybe next time, Sid can employ some more historically accurate linguistics people to pen his dialog.
The person narrating this video, who also owns the channel, is not associated with the company... He's just a fan excited about Civ 7. "It gets me as a person who had to learn..." wdgaf about none of that looool
Wake up everyone new Civ Minute video just dropped
That was amazingly detailed. Now I want a full list of who does what, and what the best pairings are.
your videos are awesome, great work
I'm a map freak and this game looks amazing. I can't wait!
I love that civilizations spawn in historically accurate ecosystems!
Nice video - very detailed
I love how they keep having egypt as your go to civ for a first time
Thank you Civ Minute. Love your content😊
Wonders? Spies? Navigable rivers? Egypt, i choose you!
Bet he was sick of saying Navigable by the end of the recording 😂
I just want it to be February already
wait, each civ has his unic civic?
Count the number of times he says "navicable rivers"
Say 'navigable river' one more time....
Can we have Khufu, Snefuru or Thutmose?
Egypt has so many great Pharaohs who hasn't appeared in civ yet to be feminist food.
