Good first arrival video. Good traditional fire ops. However, this is 2023. I’ve said this before, and I will keep preaching the usefulness of The Transitional Attack. Also, why are we only deploying one hand line? Master Streams, deck guns, ladder pipes, TFT Blitz, etc. to start. Then move to 1-3/4 preconnects. Fire doubles every 30 seconds, so every second counts!
I worked for a large dept in the south for a little bit over 20 years starting in the early 90's, it was standard practice for the first in engine to start dumping tank water through the deck gun if the fire was readily accessible. We didn't call it a transitional attack, but the backup FF would hit it from the yard while the nozzleman masked up and irons went for the door. They'd swap places while the backup masked up and then follow the truck crew inside. It wasn't true transitional attack in the sense of how crews use it these days, but it was the same concept, the faster you get water on a fire the faster conditions improve.

Save the basement
Why don’t firefighter get their scba on before arrival? Not a criticism but a question.
Is Lakewood paid or volunteer?
Both, paid units E-5 L-5
This is about sickening to even watch, but there command is okay with watching. Maybe those cops could get a lesson in suppressing efforts vs. Giving directives all night.
You seem angry. Things not going well?
Put out the fire?
This is so pitiful to watch these clowns in operation. What I see all the time in the US. Multi million dollars worth of equipment, best Fire trucks in the world but part time firefighters who have no idea on how to fight a fire. What I would have given for these Fire trucks in my day. They do not seem to understand that water puts out fires. They have no idea on where their hydrants are. Really hard to watch these homes burning to the ground. At least they saved some part of it.
What happens to peoples homes in America when they are extensively damaged by fires like this one here. I'm assuming it is demolished and rebuilt payed for by the insurance.
If you're extremely lucky!!.......
Stop narrating the obvious stop talking in your videos. We’re watching it. We see it.
yall took to long, work the water off the engine till you get a water supply.getting ready to fight the fire on scene, should have been ready for battle.
Another day, another "I don't know what fully involved means"
Outstanding video, a awful job of firefighting
I am sure your brothers in the service appreciate your comments. That is of course...assuming that you are not a poser fire fighter.
Heavy fire…………..
put it out
sue
I'm just here to see how many times Captain Obvious says .. "We got heavy Fy-er"
Only twice I’ve put a limit on it now, next video I’ll say it 30 times.
1.5 Million dollar ladder truck that can't pump water out the tower. Go back to school you-all
Complete incompetence, you should rename this video title. As training.
I’d love to know how and where things went wrong?
Not. Fully involved? 😂 just stop taking
🧐🫣
Too slow for the water
Appeared to be a three man engine company that did a great job!
No second line for how long?
Not sure I understand why it takes so long to put water on the fire and why they deploy 1 line instead of multiple lines.
Why don't you Americans billed your houses out of bricks don't billed them out of wood then the houses won't change it four bricks then they won't kach fire then stuart lodwidge
This is an excellent fire response. Everything from the radio traffic to the first team on the ground and the initial attack. This dept clearly has done their training and runs like a well oiled machine. Watching teamwork like this makes me miss being in the fire service. Keep up the great work.
super slow
Well done Lakewood
well if people would start building houses that are 100% concrete inside outside and the roof this will never happen.
I’ll take the professionals size up over yours. When you have 2 story with fire pushing from floors, that’s fully involved.
Also that was a size up from EMS, at the time Fire was only pushing out of the first story but extending, not fully involved there was a whole other side to the house that showed minor signs of heavy fire or none at all. So the full structure wasn’t involved.
Actually that wasn't fully involved only one side had fire coming from it, the other side had nothing. Fully involved is flames from every window not smoke so his assessment is correct
@@CarTalesCrewthank you.. I love these guys on here talking out of their a** about things they’re not even close to correct about.
what part of the word "fully" do you not understand ?
Jersey shore you're once again you are getting too close do you not understand what safety is
He wasn’t too close. Have you ever seen Themajestorium1’s videos from NYC?
He wasn't that close, do you not understand how video cameras work?
@@FloridaCatholicGuy Yes actually I have and no that guy has an idea what he's talking about Jersey fire shore does not know what he's talking about All he is is a wannabe
Thanks Mom.
Cave man discovers optical zoom
Toujours trop lents pour éteindre, un challege?😢
Did the dispatch say manure fire at neighbors?!?
I thought dispatch said "Menorah fire". The Jewish candelabra used during Hanukkah typically with candles. A lot of Menorah fires this week becuase of the holidays.
@@rd4660 probably should switch to lights instead of candles. The fireman would appreciate it
“Jewish Lightning”
This is not "fully involved"
Your size up game needs some work
