I have macular degeneration (a form of blindness). I can't see what is directly in front of me. The whole reason I got this machine was for the "automatic" needle threader. Written instructions are no good for me,as I can't read/see them. This video, however, was FANTASTIC, as I could HEAR the instructions to guide me. MANY THANKS!!!!!
In case anyone else has the same frustration as I did, make sure the needle threader and the needle are touching as you wind the thread as shown above. It took me a long time to realize that the tiny hook must be through the eye of the needle BEFORE hooking the thread onto it. Don't try hooking the thread and pushing it through the needle's eye.
Okay, let me try a reword? The hook that you are trying to catch the thread on must be inside the eye of the needle. Then hook will pull the thread through
Thank you!! I did it successfully ONCE and after that nothing works when I try again. I just newly opened the box yesterday for this machine and I’m wondering if me trying to do this so many times has been the little hook? It’s too small to tell ugh Thank you for the help!
Okay this is incredible and thank you... I JUST bought a 4452, and was at first like 'This is NOT easier than going by eye!' and the 'free sewing class' would very likely not get us this much detail so thank you infinitely for all this great information.
Thank you so much! The tutorial that came with my machine did not do a good job showing how to use the threader. You were great! I got it the first time! Much appreciated. My eyeballs were tiring from trying to hand thread my needle.
Thank you.I. bought the 4552 Singer Heavy Duth through you long time ago I don't recall how long I never knew the machine has a needle threader, just now by using You tube.Thank you so much.😢.I have glaucoma.I am fighting with the machine anytime the thread.😢
THANKYOU. I was having so much trouble with this. Knowing to have thread it in front of needle, and whilst still holding in front, go under the right hook, that was key for me. Then simply let the lever go as said, needle threaded. Perfect !
Thank you. Girl, you out here doing the Lord's work because I was just getting ready to quit. I figured I've been wanting learn to sew for 40 years now. I could go another 40. Lol
I saw so many videos but none of them was helpful. I was so frustrated. After seeing your video, it was so easy to use the needle threader Awesome video. Thanks a lot 👏👍
Just almost bought a magnifier to see to do it. I was not looping the thread under the hook then over to the threader hook. I do love the magnifier attachment for the Jerome and Berina.
Thanks for the video. I was trying to figure out how to use it. I learned I can do it faster without using it. I put my index finger behind the needle and then I can see the needle hole to thread it quickly. But it is great to know how to use the needle threader if my index finger trick isn't working.
Thank you very much! Just unboxed and set up my machine. This video was so very helpful! I couldn't use the needle threader without watching this a few times.
I'm still having a hard time doing this. I bought it for Christmas and only to do it 4 times. smh...I guess I have to keep practicing. Thanks for the video. 🙂
I was frustrated because the left lever kept pulling the already threaded needle loop back out of the eye. However, I found it a little easier, if the left lever was very carefully and gently brought upwards to the left to release the hold on the thread..
I just got my first sewing machine and its a Singer 4452 I am having trouble moving the needle threader forward to the eye of the needle. The needle does not fully fit insidet he threader and I can't get the threader hooks to move inside the needle. What should I do? Hope this makes sense.
Help. I just received my 4452 and only the pull down arm was included and not the threader. Can I get this part? If not, do you recommend another part?
From my experience to threading the needle..is to make sure the height of the needle is aligned with needle threader. If proper height is not right it..it will not work ..my 2 cents!
You hold it back a little so the lil hook can get to the thread. The hook is tiny so if the thread is slightly away it can miss being picked up by it. But obviously not back with too much force you don't want to damage the needle
This is a good video. That said I did not find the needle threader easy to use. You still need eagle eyes to line up the thread to the needle hole. It's not easy for me.
Hello, I hope you can help me. I have this machine and i need to replace the automatic needle threader on it. Is there any way to replace the threader on this machine. I appreciate your help with this. 👍
I used to have another Singer machine and I found that the hook in the Singer needle threaders are so easily bent and difficult to straighten that I went through several before the machine broke down. Brother needle threaders are SO much better- they have a sturdy hook that never bends or breaks. I don't know why Singer makes this crappy threader when other companies use a much better one and their hooks fit perfectly into the needle eyes. They are not cheap to replace- about 12 dollars apiece. Ridiculous!!
This is the Best Tutorial on the Internet for this Singer Sewing Machine. She is the reason I bought this sewing machine!... This Lady is Amazing!!

Thank God! You are an EXCELLENT teacher! You’re the 3rd or 4th video I watched trying to figure out my new Singer. I’ll be looking you up again!

I was so frustrated until I read your comment ! Thank you
@@mariahgaston5881 glad I could help at least one person!
i still don't understand your instructions. this is like the worst part about the machine

Thank you so much... this is the best vid on the auto needle threader
I saw so many videos but none of them was helpful. I was so frustrated. After seeing your video, it was so easy to use the needle threader Awesome video. Thanks a lot 👏👍
Thanks very much for that detailed explanation of the automatic threader.
The coolest little feature in my opinion, makes life so much easier

I followed your instructions. My bobbin jams every time as soon as I begin sewing. My machine is new.

Thank you! Found out why mine wasnt working! My big fat impatient fingers bent it but I bent it back and viola'!

If the needle keep breaking while sewing ... wat may be the cause for this please

What is the push lever for?
you are amazing, thank you so much❤❤
Good job
Thank you very much for this video, I don't even know there is a hook in there. Unfortunately it is bented, but at least I know what the problem is. 😊
Can you demo the new Brother CS7000i Sewing Machine?
Thank you for the help. My eyes are not what they use to be 😂
Hello,
I hope you can help me. I have this machine and i need to replace the automatic needle threader on it. Is there any way to replace the threader on this machine. I appreciate your help with this. 👍
My machine should be the same or similar since it is a Singer brand also and have the needle threader.
weirdly it won't loop through the needle...

This needle threader sucks!!!!!! I appreciate your valiant effort however…
