There are two twin births that I feel are medically unique in the Bible. I think it would be cool to hear you discuss them. If you are interested: The first is Genesis 38:27-29 When her time came to give birth, it turned out that there were twins in her womb. As she was giving birth, one put his hand out; the midwife tied a red thread on his hand, saying, “This one came first.” But then he pulled it back and his brother came out. She said “Oh! A breakout!” So she named him Perez. Then his brother came out with the red thread on his hand. They named him Zerah. The second is in Genesis 25:24-26 “When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau. After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau’s heel; so he was named Jacob.”

My mom gave birth (6 weeks early) to mono-mono twins! Which I believe is second rarest after Siamese twins. There were a ton of complications, mostly in one sister and mostly to do with her ability to suck/swallow (and as a result, breathe). Years and more that 20 surgeries later, they finally found two tumors in her throat, which was fabulous news because we finally knew what was wrong. Her voice is softer than her sister's, but both girls are HEALTHY and just graduated high school :3 Things were really scary/rough on my family for a while, my mom lived in a (Ronald McDonald House across the street from a) hospital a few hours away from home during most that time.

We have had about 30 sets of identical twins in our family in 4 generations (genetic mutation causing an issue with the structure of the protein matrix that holds the dividing cells together). I have my fingers crossed for twins in this pregnancy!

my twin sister and I are identical twins, we shared the placenta but not the sac. It was a tough 1st pregnancy for my mom. From the first ultrasound the doctors saw that my twin had problems. We also had TTTS and I was the donor twin so I was small and everybody was concerned that I was not going to survive. Meanwhile they discovered a cyst on my twin's lung. My mom had to run any kind of test that was available in 2005. At 33rd week of pregnancy my moms water broke, so my parents rushed to the hospital and started the checks. The doctors tried to stop the labor but it did not work. We were born through c-section and had to stay at the hospital fot 2 months because of others complications.

I am 15 Weeks with Mono/Di twins. I'm so glad you are making this series, thank you! Since hearing at the dating ultrasound that I had two babies I've been doing all the research but there isn't as much information of course because twins are somewhat rare. What I did find out at my first appointment was that I can still go unmedicated if everyone is healthy and happy. I went unmedicated with my first singleton but from what I had seen I wasn't sure if that would be an option this time but at least at my hospital it totally is! I really appreciated all your videos when I was pregnant with my singleton and your advice definitely helped me to have a successful unmedicated birth. Thank you!
I'd love a twin breastfeeding video.

Currently 17 weeks pregnant with mono/di twins (identical twin) they were able to tell me they are identical for sure. Love these videos thanks so much! I’m a first time mama and super cautious with EVERYTHING the doctors are telling me. Praise God I found a good midwife and she’s been listening to my decisions and very open about it.

Please make a video about what to expect if your baby goes to the NICU. What would send a baby to NICU? Are visitation times limited for the parents? What should parents know about the NICU?

I’ve had two pregnancies and both have been spontaneous fraternal twin pregnancies. I gave birth to two girls 4 years ago. We weren’t 100% sure if they were fraternal or identical until they were born, but it became apparent pretty quickly. I will give birth to my second set soon. A boy and a girl this time. For my first twin pregnancy I had almost no risk factors. White, in my 20s, not larger or taller, dairy free due to an allergy, and no reproductive assistance, etc. My grandmother’s grandmother was a fraternal twin (which I didn’t know until my twins were born), but there were no other fraternal twins in between. The second set, I had a couple because I’m in my 30s now and had my own previous twin pregnancy, but we were still in absolute shock when we found out we were having twins again!

Gen 25:23 And Yahuah said unto her, Two nations are in your womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from your generation; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
The dolls reminded me of that scripture! :)

My Mo/Di girls are 16 months but it certainly was stressful we made it to 32 weeks and after a few weeks in the NICU were able to come home. I am confused because my doctors explained to me that my Mo/Di girls had 1 placenta but 2 water bags but that doesn't seem to be how you described it.

Sarah! I need your help! I’m 35+4 with a scheduled 37 week c section due to complete placenta previa. However, the placenta moved and is now a marginal previa! And I t’s posterior. I now have the option for vaginal, which is what I wanted, and I can go past 37 weeks as well. But I haven’t mentally prepared for vaginal at all! I’ve been mentally preparing for surgery! Do you have any tips for how to use the next few weeks to mentally and physically prepare for vaginal birth, just in case that’s an option? 🙏🏽 I wish I had started perineal massage earlier 😅
