G'day mate, another of my favourite compositions, rock cliffs and water. Once again you have demonstrated how to paint the tone and structure of those cliffs and rocks by capturing the play of light. Complicated detail broken down into simple strokes of the knife, a showcase of variety of strokes and light/shadow tones. Placement of key points adds that extra 'sparkle'. Сколько мы путешествуем с тобой по Австралии, что приходит узнавание некоторых видов пейзажей из более ранних видео. Но это нисколько не умаляет, если так, свежести нового взгляда; это как Моне писал Руанский собор всё в новой освещённости времени суток. Тем более природа живёт и обновляется, показывая новые грани, а ты нам их подсвечиваешь. Сегодняшний сюжет напомнил эксперименты художников в стиле кубизма 😃. Но твой кубизм всем кубизмам - самый настоящий, составленный из природы😃 И это получилось здорово!

👋Hello Richard, I haven't forgotten you! Watching you paint - sooner or later - is definitely a must, and I haven't regretted it, ever. What a wonderful painting, the palette knife in your hand creates interesting structures with the help of the colors, of which the blue is probably the most delightful. But the orange and gray also draw the eye and lead it into the depth of the artwork. The almost triangular-looking parts of the sky and the water hole do the rest to make the viewer linger in the piece. An excellent display of your skills, Richard, fabulous! How toothy is the canvas! Is it the coarse Belgium linen or the primer? It sounds very rough as you apply the paint..
Love this one, Richard. My wife paints and wants to know what material your pallet board is made of. She's been using a glossy white tile, and it's not working for her.
Is it hard to clean?
I think it's a thick panel of aluminium. Might be the same one RME uses on the side of his camping trailer when he's painting the outback.
I use 5mm marine plywood! Cheers

What do you think about the differences of both?
I like texture on the big pictures and less texture on the smaller ones. Also use smaller knives 🎨👍💯
