Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted. In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish...and has refused to leave his side ever since.
My grandma thought this was a little kids movie… so when me and my siblings were kids she took us to watch it 🤣🤣🤣 and even after she still thought it was for kids she thought it was an adorable movie. She was amazing 😢❤

When I first heard about Ted and saw this trailer for the very first time back in 2012, I laughed so hard I couldn’t stop. This movie made me laugh having a potty mouth talking teddy bear who does bad things. 😂🤣😆

Not sure why this film gets criticized so much but you cannot deny that this movie was humorous as well as hilarious. I even still remember the day it first came out with a lot of my friends mentioning it, saying jokes from it, and much more. What a great time this was. So many iconic scenes and legendary moments as well. Especially easter eggs, and references to other movies as well as shows. Not only that but the fact, that they even joke around about other films as well as reference from them. What a great story as well, and introduction to the first movie of Ted. Great characters as well, great storyline and much more. Even the soundtrack was amazing. I've literally had this movie since it first came out on CD as well,but decided to re-watch it 2 days ago as well as yesterday with behind the scenes and bonus. Like people honestly don't understand how much effort alongside work was put into this, especially since its one of Seth's first-ever films made and even he admitted that its way difficult than animation, not going to say what he completely said as that's in the bonus feature but truly amazing. What was even more funny as well as amazing was how he practically got the cast of Family Guy as well as American Dad to be featured in the film as and in order to make the movie TED. He literally has his own cast if he ever wanted to make much more films. Such a legendary, iconic, and amazing film.
Very good movie. Love the "2012-vibe" that comes with some of the newer movies from 2012. Good directing, well written, great acting, superb animations and the actors matches their role perfectly. Especially since I'm deeply in love with Mila.

This is a deep movie. To fully appreciate, it requires a great deal of reflection and introspection. The movie makers did a much better job than I thought possible for a single movie experience. The sex and violence were NOT simple gratuities to please an uneducated sample of the audience, they were integral pieces of the storyline which were necessary for exploring the human condition. Oh fuck. Wrong movie. Ah, where's my ring? :D

Honestly, don't understand why people dislike this movie so much, but what an extremely hilarious movie. I remember when it first came out, a lot of my friends, would make so many references from it, and what a time it was. Great storyline, comedy, and characters, and man what a nice soundtrack added too it as well. I recently had re-watched it, and got to the bonus scenes, and behind the scenes, and it's amazing as well, how so many people don't realize how much work went into it to make it this good, and set. Honestly worth watching if you got the time. Also, Seth is legit a genius man, and it was also nice seeing the cast of Family guy apart of it too, and massive respect to Mark Wahlberg as well, and the legit hilarious cameos.

I saw this movie last night as a sneak preview. It was f'n hilarious! All of us walked out of the theatre saying it was the best comedy we have seen in a long time. I had tears in my eyes a few times from laughing so much. Trust me when I say go see this movie. You will not be disappointed.

I remember when this movie first came out in 2012 . I wanted to go and see it so badly but there was one problem, I was 17 years old and they have that rule were you can’t see an R rated movie under 18 without an adult. I begged my mom to take me to see this movie and she kept saying No I don’t want to sit through that stupid movie. I told her but I am under aged and not allowed to see it without an adult. After weeks of begging, she finally said yes I will take you. The whole time she was thinking great I have to sit through this stupid movie. While she was watching the movie, she was cracking up laughing. After the movie was over she said that was so funny and stupid. She said we need to come back and see it again because I didn’t get through all the scenes because I was laughing so hard. Today my mom watches this movie on her Netflix. Every time I see this movie, it makes me think wow and here she didn’t want to see this movie and she’s watching it on her Netflix.
I’m about to be 28 years old and I am so happy I can see R rated movies by myself.
